Meh, it's the only game in town so I'm glad it's there. Floor and seats were still dirty from the previous showing. You can get some mediocre pizza for $17. I've heard good things about their rewards club.

    The Anime finally ended! Terrible!

We were to see Horizon at 3:30 Sunday June 30th. There's was an Anime movie on that didn't end until 3:55 pm. What's wrong with the management of this theatre???

    Seats filthy

Seats dirty upholstery needs cleaned badly. All coke machines empty of almost every drink. Paid for a lg drink had to get water because all the machines were almost empty all but 2 frozen drinks were unfrozen and working. Food prices ridiculous.

    Break at the show.

So I usually go to Amc 17 now in Indianapolis Indiana now instead of the Bloomington location and I will explain why. Also I will explain why I still go here but can't rate this place 5 stars and that will also be explain. Let's begin Well AMC 17 has everything. Recliners to relax your body while you watch the movie. Bigger seats for larger or taller people so they have more room for comfort. Also they have a full bar which is super cool to get a drink while your watching your movie. Also, so many more different types of food selection. So this is why I now go to AMC 17 more often. Now the reason I gave this place 4 stars is because I know how a real AMC should look like and be. This Amc do not have recliner seats, or a full bar or great food selection. The seats are small compared to other AMCs like 17 in Indianapolis Indiana. But I still do go here sometimes, why? It is closer to my house and when I am in the mood to see a movie but don't feel like going to AMC 17 I go here. So I settle with this movie theater. Not a 5 but I give this place a 4 because it is clean and good service most of the times and still good selection of shows and some options on food.

I came to see a 4:45 movie. It wasn't very busy at the theatre so there was only one person selling tickets and she kept conversing with previous customers, so it took a bit longer to be able to buy a ticket. I found the price of popcorn and pop to be ridiculously expensive. You could only choose between regular and large and it ended up costing over $14 for a regular pop and popcorn. We could have gotten the large combo for less than $1 more, but that size was huge! The quality of the popcorn wasn't very good anyway; it had a somewhat burnt taste. My movie was in theatre #2. Walking into the theatre you are immediately hit with a strong unpleasant smell. It honestly smelled like urine. It was terribly unpleasant. After sitting through previews, we finally got to watch the movie. The quality of the sound and video was just fine, but the smell still lingered.

super outdated. the speakers aren't great and the seats are old and gross. If this theatre got renovated they would make so much more money.

There is some street parking right in front or you can park along a side street. This theatre is such a cool old building and just recently they have been doing some remodeling on the main floor and putting in new floors and new seats. It wasn't quite completed when we were there but are very thankful that they allowed us to have the main floor anyway. They offer movies for families or groups where you can have the entire theatre to yourself. It was such a nice experience to be able to do this with extended family. Normally they reserve the upstairs theatre for this but we let them know that we had someone in a wheelchair and so they made every effort to have the main floor ready so we could use it. The concessions are typical movie theatre with the awesome buttery popcorn and boxed candy, nachos, drinks... oh and they offer free refills! Kind of something that is unheard of nowadays! Overall this is a great place to go see a movie and we will definitely be back.

This may have been the most disappointing AMC experience I have ever faced first hand…read more Theirs literally groups of workers just standing around but of course we are being helped by people who don't know what they're doing nor what they're talking about. What's worse, one of the supervisors was also just chatting it up at the ticket stand while the young man struggled with our loyalty membership (he ended up asking her for help) - just very poor management trickling down to the staff. We ask a young lady, at the concession stand, if we could get cups for water, she tells us they don't sell cups of water but we can buy a bottle of water or we can buy a fountain drink cup and get water. The fountain drink CUP was $6 compared to the bottle of Smartwater, which was $5 - we agree on the bottle water and she tells us she has small cups for water b/c we were ready to share the bottle...didn't we just ask you for cups for water? Lastly, the lights in the theater were on above us and it was very distracting.

It replaced the older theater next doors, which I still loved, but needed updating. The place was huge. It was clean. It was fun. I went back to see No Way Home after a few years hiatus. It was trashed. It's almost like someone took their drink and spilled it from the entrance doors to their theater seat, refilled their cup, and did it again over every square inch of the place. I'll chalk it up to low staffing and late in the night. I hope they mopped. I'll do it for free it was so bad. There is another theater in town that is well known for its sticky floor. It's a small 2 screener. My whole life it was the cheap one so the jokes about the floor were fine. BUT THIS. This was worse. Staff are great, helpful, overall awesome people. I hope the AM shows the theater super clean, but wow, it was rough for that night. The drink fountains were a mess. I'm pretty sure a patron hit the ice machine and just kept their hand on it to be a loser. That's what I think mostly happened. Some kids and adults need supervision and their hand help. I hope they up their staff for cleaning and keeping an eye on the mess makers. It's the best theater in the area, so I hope they can turn it around.

We went on a Sunday and found street parking pretty easily, but then realized the theater validates parking for up to 3 hours. Such a nice perk -- wish I knew before circling around lol. We bought our tickets online ahead of time, and when we got there I ordered the garlic cheesy bread and a drink at the counter. Total was around $15. The seats were really comfy and spacious, which made the whole experience feel worth it. The food came out pretty fast. The garlic cheesy bread was probably like a 5/10 for me... not terrible, but I probably wouldn't order it again. We arrived and parked in the garage located next to the theater. When we checked in at the box office, we were told to request parking ticket validation upstairs. They provide 3-hour parking validation. I was under the belief that we could order refreshments from our seats, but the usher at the theater door advised that we should order at the counter and food (with the exception of beverages, popcorn and candies) would be brought out to our seats. This was disappointing because the line was quite long. We stood in the queue and once we reached the counter, we were assisted by what I believe was the food service manager. He spoke with a sense of ownership over the issue that was their beer refrigeration line. All of their beer is on tap, and none was available because of this issue. The gentleman was short with us. He talks fast and asked what we'd like and before we could even get the words out of our mouths, he demanded that we produce our seat tickets. I was pulling them out of my pocket when he said something to the effect of "we can't deliver it to your seats if we don't know where you're seated". This is true, but once I gave him the tickets, he held onto them until the end of our transaction. If he didn't need them right away, then why cut us off like that? My husband tipped on the receipt, but I felt that the service was subpar. I hope the tips are given to the food runners. When we found our seats, there was a huge spill in front of one of them. The employees have to come into the theater and remove dishes, cups, etc. after each show, so that spill should have been addressed. I found an employee who was running food orders and asked him for a towel. He graciously assisted us in cleaning up the spill. We both ordered The Fast Times pizzas. They were small, personal sized pies. They were cheesy, with a generous amount of pepperoni, but the crust wasn't fully cooked. I barely ate half of mine before I began feeling sick. I had to excuse myself to restroom shortly thereafter when I became ill. My husband's stomach is stronger than mine, or perhaps his was fully cooked. The seats were comfortable and I don't think you can pick a "bad one", but the food and the service could use improvement.
