Went to see Odyssey. Complete chaos from entry. The app was having issues and you had to place your order in person. That's not their fault, but they just don't have the space. Unlike the Menlo location with kiosk, you have to wait in line and can't change the pizzas. In the theater, the sound was muffled/ off and the picture wasn't as clear as I expected. The staff was friendly, but the bartender struggled with basic bartender tasks. For the dine in, I would suggest someplace else unfortunately. read more

The good: very clean. No issues with smells, no sticky floors, sound was very good with the movie too. The not so good: this was my 1st visit and it was a bit confusing to find the entrance. We went to the exit and then had to go into the mall and walk a while (not a big issue). 1st time visiting & ordering food there - the food cashier wasn't too pleasant but not extremely bad. This was once upon a time THE theater. The comfy seats, the food served right to you while sitting down. Movie nights could not get any better. After a many year hiatus I made a trip with my mom earlier this week to see A Complete Unknown and I'm a little bummed to see so much has changed and not for the good. I'm not looking for a full meal, but the idea of getting a popcorn midway through the movie, when I knew I was going to get a little snacky was VERY appealing. The seats were big and comfy but didn't recline. There was plenty of legroom and the theater itself seemed pretty clean, so the lack of reclining wasn't a big deal. My generous girlfriend got me a $100 gift card here because she knows a)- I love movies and b) - I love food! Nice looking, big, theater. Pretty clean bathroom too The menu underwhelmed me. We ordered before sitting down and our food came promptly - before our movie even started. I decided on a plain flatbread; Joey, a burger and "wings." Omg - grease-o-rama! When this theater first opened it was the nicest theater around. Over the past 10 years they have had a few renovations but only to the bar and concessions area that I can tell, no updates to the actual theaters and no improvements made to the dine-in service. the last time I went to enjoy the dine-in feature I was told that I have to order popcorn through the app and additionally I cannot place the order while the movie has already started. I was not aware of this change so I had to leave a movie while it was already playing to go wait in a long and slow line at the bar in order to get popcorn, even then they said they would deliver it to our seats and I couldn't walk away with it. The theater seats are no longer that comfortable when other nearby theaters have reclining seats. The lights at the seats that were once installed to read menus are just as bright as ever and don't really serve a purpose anymore now that there are no menus to read. The facility is on the decline and the whole idea of getting food served while watching movie is a bit gross. The seats are non reclining and can be quite uncomfortable for long movies. Also, tough to clean up those food and oily fingerprints from the furniture. And, to top it all, they really lower the temps during weekdays and your legs feel really cold. Ambient light coming from sides and the chair is also too distracting for viewers. I guess it's hard to eat a meal in total darkness. read more

I decided to give a review base on our experience this 12/8/24. I took my family to watch Moana and I decided come early to order food and maybe seat down early in the theater , however 3 different employees gave us 3 different answers. We wait until the area was ready and about over half and hour later food didn't arrived , eventually I came out to speak to a manager that just apologized and walk away . Not satisfied w the anwer I asked how long will take to get it and they told 20 minutes more. Of course not acceptable I explained to them that I had a kid w me and they agreed to rush the order . Food arrived 7 minutes later but was not complete , I told the employee that missing a large popcorn . He said that will comeback which He never did it .I came out again and a lady gave me the popcorn . At the end is not just $67 dollars expending in food alone but is the whole experience. To be honest I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS THEATER TO DINE IN , instead go to the food court , eat and then enjoy the movie . Young employees need training and direction. I don't remember the last time I was here. This AMC has over size chairs which is a big plus and plenty of leg room. I liked the fact our movie was in a smaller room. It makes it feels eXtra special. Very well maintained and clean. We saw many attendees had dine in service. Services were very discreet, no fuss and pretty quiet. We saw the movie "Like a Boss". It was hilarious from the beginning. The food was decent, but the service was less than sterling! My daughter and I each ordered a sandwich. My burger came, and her flatbread did not arrive until 15 minutes later. When we wanted refills on our drinks, our waiter was scarce. I had to ask a different waiter for refills, and to remove our empty plates. About 15 minutes before the end of the movie, our check was dropped off. It took nearly 10 minutes for our waiter to pick up my card and another 4 to bring it back. So the movie was ending as he was dropping it off. However, the bartender was wonderful. We had arrived early for our movie, since it was Christmas and we were concerned with the movie selling out. I've never been to this AMC before and I LOVE Bridgewater mall a LOT so I had bigexpectations. The service was GREAT everyone was super nice and genuine, I didn't think I was being annoying or anything because they all were so kind. However, since this is a dine in, I was expecting great food. I was disappointed... I ordered the patty melt, and I was HUNGRY, so that made me extra eager to eat this. May I add this stuff is MONEY!!! Lots of it. Anyways. It looked ok, definetly not the best presentation out there but not awful. There were like barely any fries, and the few fries were kind of soggy and like not salty. Not my frie type. The patty didn't have much flavor, and the few it had was bad flavor. Also the patty like collapsed into small pieces when I bit it. It was kind of awful, but I had to keep eating it because I was hungry. The popcorn was fine though. The seats were comfy, but I didn't have any place to put my feet... first world problem, I know. Pretty average AMC Dine In. They're usually open late after the mall closed. If you do see a late night movie I'd recommend parking on the upper deck or in the Bloomingdale's parking lot so you don't have to walk all the way around. The food is not great. If you're going to order something I recommend sticking to the usual theater go-tos (ie popcorn, nachos) and their cocktails. Those items are what you'd expect, but the dine-in food is not good quality and super overpriced. It's also not the cleanest but I've seen worse theaters for sure. Small amc dine in theatre inside the 2nd floor of the mall. I never had an issue with amc dine in experience and same is true here. I like to purchase the tickets online in advance and select our seats. Upon arrival, go to kiosk and get our tickets printed and head inside. The dine in meals are typical burgers, chicken strips and fries, popcorn, pretzel and candies. Order your meal or snack before the movie starts if possible so that it will arrive when the movie is on. The lights are dimmed but you can still see your food with the small lights siding on the side of your seat. Utensils and condiments are there but if you need more, you should ask the host. That's what their getting tipped for anyway. Overall, I love the comfy seats and dine-in experience but I still must prefer the starplex amc theatres where the seats lay almost flat. read more

After the movie, they gave us 2 vouchers to return. Well, the pandemic happened, shut down and we misplaced the vouchers. I emailed customer service multiple times and called. This whole Dine-In experience at this theater went from an indulgent splurge to a frustrating waste of money. The staff is on a power trip and I felt harrased from the minute I entered. No more ordering at your chair even on a Saturday night. Instead you have to wait in a long line to order what you want. They also now charge more if you want good seats even though the theater was almost empty. $36.64 for 2 adult tickets. A $4.38 convenience fee to use their own website to purchase tickets online is rediculous. You are going to charge a fee for the privilege of spending money with you on your own website? The concept is fantastic, unfortunately the execution is poor. Start with slow service, we ordered two beers before the previews came and sat patiently as new people arrived and ordered food and drinks with it all being brought out before our beers. Our beers finally arrived as the movie started. We ordered some appetizers to munch on as we were going to go to an early dinner after our movie. These were just ok. Our boneless buffalo wings were chicken fingers with a side of ranch and our loaded tots weren't so loaded (we found all the toppings at the bottom of the bowl after we finished eating them). These were $10 each which is ridiculous for what you get. The lights they use for aisle visibility are too bright and distracting. With people ordering throughout the movie you get distracted as they're is talking and people constantly in your periphery. The chairs aren't really comfy and the stiff arm rests make it difficult to hold hands once the chairs lean back a tiny bit. If you want to actually watch a movie this is not the way to do it. read more

For being in such a nice mall, this theater is absolutely disgusting. All of the chairs are constantly sticky & broken- they creak when you sit in them and with any movement you make. The staff is extremely rude & slow with drink orders. I highly recommend going to another theater in the area like Manville or Hillsborough. I would never even attempt to eat from the kitchen at this place- stay away. AMC should take a long look at Alamo Drafthouse to see how a successful dine/drink theater is supposed to operate. Absolutely the worst movie theatre experience. The facility is original but they replaced seats and carpet probably 15 years ago. Panels on the walls were torn and the place looked really run down. We will not be going back to this AMC theater. The only one I will go to is in Rockaway. I thought that these "dine in theaters" were new; they are not - they only redid the lobby, placed modern ticket kiosks in the entrance and installed nicely brushed glass panels to make you think that the entire place has been renovated. But it's not. Below average employees who are not particularly interested in the customer experience. I've resigned myself to the fact that when I go to a movie, it is simply to see the performances and not to enjoy the actual facility - that's sad. Unless you go to a much higher end cinema or an independent theater where they seem to care more, it's all about the movie for me now. The food and popcorn were incredibly salty. No wonder theater attendance is in decline. The young woman who sold us the tickets was extremely unfriendly and acted like she was doing us a favor. I'm used to having to mortgage the house to buy popcorn but here they only sold the large size. Really? The seats we're comfortable and I kinda like having the food delivered but even with a sweater the theater was really cold. It made the movie experience unpleasant and despite my complaint management did nothing. Don't think I'll return to AMC Bridgewater anytime soon. read more

I'll preface this by saying that I can only comment on the movie part of the experience and not the food. I can't comment on the food because I never ate there (not even popcorn) because the prices are insanely expensive. That's the main reason for it losing a star on my rating. The theater itself is very nice and it has become my preferred theater even though there are three other cinemas closer to my house. The ticket prices are on par with the outrageous prices everywhere else but no other theater holds a candle to this one in terms of comfort. The theaters themselves are not that large so you're not among a sea of people and the chairs are no ordinary chairs--they're practically Lay-Z Boys! Without a doubt one of the most comfortable chairs I've ever sat in just about anywhere, let alone in a movie theater. If you've never been here you might think that the waiters coming and going will be distracting but I hardly ever noticed them. They get most of the orders in before the film starts then they pop in occasionally but it's not as bad as I would have thought. read more
