    dine in theater

Clean theater with very comfortable seats! Dine in option to order food/ drink to your seats which is very cool. Someone next to me ordered a chicken sandwich which looked incredible and made me regret eating before I came. Now I know for next time!:) good graphics on movie screen.

I went there with my best friend. The movie played without interruptions, which was great. The staff was decent, though we didn't interact with them much. However, I wasn't impressed with the theater itself. The chairs were uncomfortable, and there was a weird smell that made me nauseous;I couldn't even order anything because of it (and no, I'm not pregnant). The trays were dirty and sticky, which makes me think they don't clean them after each showing. On the plus side, parking was easy and available, and the location is definitely convenient. I guess everyone has different standards, but would I recommend this place? Honestly, I'm not sure.

I've been coming to this theater since I was a kid like I remember watching Princess Diaries here and recently I came back to watch Wicked. Since I was a kid this theater did update into a dine in theater but I think it could use another update. When you first come in there's a self serve concession stand with a kiosk to order and then grab your popcorn or other items. I didn't anything but I would be concerned with other people coughing on the food before I went to grab it if I did. Then as you head to the back you can see they have a bar and then a handful of theaters. The seating in each theater is pretty much set up so that you'll be most comfortable if you go as a pair. For this movie, 3 of us went and our one friend felt really far from us since the seats and armrests are pretty large. The seats unfortunately don't recline and aren't heated but they're cozy. The number one thing that I didn't like was immediately after the movie they cut the lights all the way on so you couldn't really read the credits. Aside from the theater Wicked was an amazing movie. Definitely check it out!!

Made reservations on line! The Wizard of Oz is my all time favorite movie! Saw Wicked on broadway! Excited to see the movie! Absolutely loved it!!!! Comfortable seats!

Twister. And No-ONE sitting in my assigned seat.

I have had my 1 bad experience here. But since then, I have had good experiences. I am greeted politely and seem like the staff is more welcoming. The theater itself is clean, and the food is pretty good. My go-to movie snacks are the loaded tots, and Carmel popcorn.

Hard to see in a dark theater, but you can see the pretzel sticks that were cut up as per my review.

Let's start with I really debated for a long time what I would give this place. And this is one of a small percentage of 1 start reviews I've written. You may be asking yourself how does a movie theater get a one star review. Well I'm about to tell you. First, I am an a list member. So I can see three movies a week and pay a relatively inexpensive charge to do so. To be honest, it's not worth it. They're not three good movies that come out every week, nor do I have enough time to see that many movies. But I digress. This review is not about alist. This review is of the Menlo theater. We chose to come to the dining theater because we expected to dine in. The overall experience was lackluster. They were out of slushies which is usually concession. I get whenever I see them. Is it good for you and should I get it? Absolutely not. Do I care now? I love blue raspberry slushies and we'll typically only have them if I go to the movies. However, this time there were no slushies available. For food I ended up ordering the pretzel bites. Also thinking how can you mess up pretzel bites, and now I will tell you how. You take large thick pretzel sticks. Cut them into quarters and then cook them. You might be saying wow you are really nitpicking. However, the reason we eat pretzels over breadsticks is because of the outer crossed on a pretzel. When you take large pretzel sticks and cut them into quarters. You end up with one to two dry ends on every piece that are disgusting. Additionally, the cheese sauce, just one of the reasons why I like eating pencil bites because he doesn't like cheese. It definitely tasted like it outside in the crock pot for 3 days. The cheese was grainy, yes grainy. Think of how disgusting that is. And thinking well if you could just have some good mustard. Well back out screwed up too because instead of the traditional spicy brown mustard the pretzels are served with. They gave me honey mustard which when sitting in a dark theater and finding that out the hard way is absolutely disgusting. Then there was the drinks. Since they didn't have slushies and they did serve alcohol, I figured I would get something to drink, I originally was going to go with a draft beer. What was that informed? Due to renovations they have nothing on draft. Most they're mixed drinks or mixed with ginger ale which I don't like. So I decided to go with a RumChata to drink. When you're paying $17 for a drink, you expect it to be at least half decent or actually good for $17 and I only finished it because I spent $17 on it. If I'd spent maybe $3 less I would have left it after the first step because it was that bad. Well the movie couldn't be bad right? Experiences are pretty standardized across theater. You would think that the two major issues of the movie one you have to book your seats in advance, put your something I normally don't mind. However, it becomes problematic when you have a broken seat. Have you ever played one of those arcade games where you're driving one of those motorcycles and every time you move you feel like you may fall off. That was a parallel experience to my scene. It felt like it was attached to only one point, anytime I even made a micro movement the c word rock and go off balance. I would have just moved if it wasn't that there were people on the other side of my wife and no open seats ahead of us that I could see. The icing on the cake was around the end of the movie when it was a quiet suspenseful moment. You can hear the movie next door coming in ruining the ambience has some kids song could be heard through the wall. Now they are apparently renovating. However, patrons would likely be better served and just closing the doors and doing their renovations quickly then having this half-baked experience. Also they need to update their app and they need to act out broken seats. It's ridiculous to go into a movie picking a seat and then have that CP broken, especially when all the other seats can possibly be reserved and you can't just move. If this wasn't what my wife wanted to do for our anniversary, I would have likely walked out early on. However, I stayed with it to be a good sport, but the next time coming to a movie comes up, I will never come to the Menlo Mall theater

So how did I wind up back here? Bit of a story but if you read my first review you'll see how I met a friend that I met online 13 years ago for the first time and this was the place we went for dinner after an event. Well, now a year later, her and I were traveling together north to Parsippany and this was the closest restaurant that looked appealing. It was not until we enter the parking lot I said out loud, this is where we had our first dinner. Anyways, enough of that love story. I really want to give this two stars for service but the food really pushed it over the top. So all in all I will keep it as a four star review. I want to address the food first, I had the short rib tacos, and my partner had eggplant caprice flatbread. I had a bite of hers which I absolutely enjoyed, eggplant had a nice crisp to it which really made it enjoyable. The short rib tacos... holy crap! Mind blown. I did not expect such great flavor in such a small bite. Everything about the tacos packed a punch. I would much rather have had six tacos and no chips and salsa. As for the service, this is where I got frustrated and my cash tip hopefully reconcile with my server. We dined on the rooftop which was completely empty minus a couple at the bar. We seated and ordered our beverages. I did not get my lime with my lemon water. After we ordered our meals, and received them, a server never came back to check in with us. I wasn't a big fan of her attitud either. It started to get busy I noticed that the host kept seating everyone around us when there was an entire floor to sit people at. Not sure if they're trying to keep people in one specific area but for how slow it was they certainly could've given everyone more privacy. I'm pretty sure the couple that was seated next to us got up and left for that reason. Cannot say I will not be back but who knows when I'll be traveling through again.

I am still disappointed by the lack of response from the corporate office on this matter, but the Edison location was extremely helpful in resolving my issue. Initial review: My wife and I have been going to True Food Kitchen for a while now, and really enjoy their healthy food options, but their recent lack of customer service is very disappointing. We recently purchased a gift card for True Food Kitchen but when we had problems with it, the local restaurant wasn't able to do anything. We reached out to the company they parner with for the gift cards, who told us to reach out to corporate. I left two voicemails with True Food corporate with no response, in addition to leaving email with no response either. I would appreciate it even if they couldn't do anything that they would at least get back to us and let us know that, but nothing. NOTE: Be very careful about using any dining credits from Open Table here. I saved up points for like a year and got a measly $16. When deciding on which restaurant to choose for Brunch today, we noticed True Food was in the Open Table network, so I would be able to use the credit there. When we arrived the place was pretty empty. Strange for the time of day. Bad sign #1. They walked us to a large table. The table was soaking wet and the hostess laid our paper menus on the puddle of water, never acknowledging the fact that the table was wet. Bad sign #2. I used my napkin to dry off the table and asked the waiter for another. He was very cordial. It was noon on a Saturday, so we assumed they would provide us with the Brunch menu (since that is why we came) and we had to ask for it - a measly 4 items on this menu, so options were few. Bad sign #3. Our server and the taste of the food were the only positive things about this trip. At the end of the meal, I followed the Open table directions and clicked on redeem in front of the waiter. It seems a Mastercard number pops up and since the server nor the manager knew how to do the dining credit, she said it was declined and could give me a 10% discount. Our meal was only $30, maki g that like $3 I said that I had to use the dining credit here since I booked our reservation which is tied to the credit and I would lose the dining credit. The manager was very demeaning and I reminded her that I can't use this credit anywhere else and that the whole reason for choosing this restaurant today was because of the Open Table credit. She then asked me to stop yelling at her. I, at no time in this conversation, raised my voice. I just stated the fact that I will lose $16 if they don't use it here. She said I could use it elsewhere and I reiterated that was not true and asked if she could contact open table to see why it won't go through. She said no because they are a third party and it is not their responsibility. After a while back and forth on this, she then said, I told you I would take $16 off the bill so you can use that elsewhere. When I reminded her that she said only 10% before she again said to stop yelling at me and I am just trying to make you happy. My husband said, does she look happy? After that she basically kicked us out of the restaurant. I will never return to this location ever again after being treated this way, like I was some criminal trying to get over them over a lousy $16. Now I can see why, on Sunday during Brunch time, the place was practically empty. Go to Original Pancake House just up the street if you want great food and service. There will be a wait but it is worth it!

If this is upscale dining by Darden, they've gone downhill and are very, very far from what Capital Grille offers. To make this review short and sweet my wife, brother-in-law and daughter came in around 8:00 p.m. for a couple drinks and a snack. After finally realizing something is terribly wrong here, I spoke to the GM, Chris, and told him what was going on. We hadn't received water an hour into our experience, we were never even offered any bread. I'm sitting here a steak and butter knife drinking a glass of Caymus and feeling like I am being ignored in the ghetto. The runner, Jessica, as pleasant as she was, was forced to drop our food on an extremely cluttered and disorganized table with empty glasses from the first round. There was zero attentiveness on the part of anyone for our entire experience. After speaking to Chris, we were finally brought some glasses of water and what I remember to be possibly pita bread or flatbread with rock hard butter. Towards the conclusion they offered us some tiny desserts on the house, which we politely declined. Nothing was discounted, there were no apologies. Such a beautiful place with a welcoming atmosphere to be thrown to the wolves like this. After working for Darden in the Chrysler building, I know this does not uphold their standards or what the managing partner would expect out of their staff.

I recently tried the chef's 8-course tasting menu, and it was perfectly paced--the small plates are proportionately sized so you leave feeling satisfied rather than overwhelmed. Every dish is a standout with deep, "stacked" flavors; even the ingredients I was skeptical about ended up being favorites. Nothing needed a drop of extra seasoning. The service sets a warm, welcoming tone from the start. We were offered Oshibori (Japanese warm towelettes) to refresh our hands, and getting a fresh set of utensils with every course was a high-end touch I really appreciated. Menu Highlights: Taro Fritter: A sweet-textured appetizer inspired by Chinese desserts, topped with caviar and soy-pickled beets. It was a beautiful way to awaken the palate. Mackerel Crudo: As someone who isn't usually a fan of raw dishes, I was surprised by how much I loved this. It's light, perfectly acidic, and balanced with plum, ponzu, and apple. Grilled Sunchoke: This was "rustic elegance" in a bowl. The smell alone is incredible, and the combination of ginger crab and shellfish butter is pure comfort. Smoked Duck: Topped with black winter truffle and caramelized onions in a gochujang sauce--absolutely excellent cook and presentation. Braised Beef Cheek: So tender you can skip the knife and just use your fork. Since I forgot to BYOB, I tried their house-made Luck & Love hibiscus drink. It's hands-down the best hibiscus tea I've ever had--I actually tried to buy one to-go, but they only make enough for dine-in guests! If you don't want to wait, they do offer takeout! Another suggestion is to browse their menu online before you arrive, the selection is extensive! We showed up without a game plan and needed several minutes just to decide because there were so many tempting choices! Luckily, our waiter was incredibly patient and helpful, answering every question we had. Once we decided, the real fun began. Every single item, and I'm not exaggerating, was phenomenal! We started with the fresh squeezed orange juice, which was sweet and perfectly portioned, along with a vanilla latte and a cappuccino. Both were classic, rich, and creamy. For the main course, we chose the "Chill + Qill It" Chilaquiles, which featured traditional corn tortillas topped with cotija cheese, avocado, pink sour cream, eggs, and your choice of protein. We also tried the Parkside Classic Sliders; the chicken was exceptionally crispy yet tender and juicy, served with eggs on a brioche bun. We opted to upgrade to the truffle fries, which were delicious! Although our sliders accidentally came with pickles, the staff was so kind and immediately offered to remake the dish or swap out the bun. Finally, we had the Grilled Chicken Egg Ranchero. It was like a breakfast version of nachos, loaded with beans, peppers, onions, an egg, those same crispy tortillas, and more of that signature pink cream! We couldn't leave without satisfying our sweet tooth, so we finished with the Cinnamon Roll French Toast. It tasted exactly like a fresh cinnamon roll, the glaze was incredible, and the bread was perfectly crisp on the outside while remaining fluffy inside. I honestly cannot wait to go back and work my way through the rest of the kitchen's creations. This restaurant is a absolute must-visit for their unique combinations and superb flavors!

Took 30 mins to get our appetizer, another 20 minutes to order our meals and then another 30 mins to get our food (no I'm not exaggerating it was a near 2 hour experience). Food was good, but when it got to us it wasn't hot and could tell it sitting under a heat lamp for a while. 2 tables got there after us and left before us. Understaffed and/or untrained. I'm really not one to leave a bad review anywhere, but this was just crazy. I really hope we were there on an off day because the place is cool and food was decent, but we just had an awful experience.

Everyone was pleased with their Harold's New York Deli experience. This was a first time experience for 6 of us, 2 return visitors (they recommended we stop to experience the good food). I've been there at least 2 dozen times. The place was empty like I've never seen before. Their signature Pastrami has always been top notch. Yesterday it was tastless, barely warm, water logged. We decided were never goingback and are on the hunt for a new Pastrami palace. Since Harold is not around to run it like he always has done so fo so many years; the folks running it cannot deliver the Deli experience I have craved for. I won't be surprised to learn they went out of business.
