I was asked on a first date to this Regal location by an Egyptian guy. He really wanted to watch an Egyptian movie, and I didn't know they showed international movies here. The movie had English subtitles, so anyone can watch. The theater was clean, the soda was fizzy, and the popcorn was crispy. That's something that is not always a given at some movie theaters. Also the screens are crisp and clean. The theater inside is very well put together. Most of the showings are the regular new releases of American movies, just like any other Regal theater. This theater is never overly packed which is an A+ for me, and the rooms alone are always clean and kept nice. I finally got around to leaving a review! Nice location for adults too as they have a cute bar area, as well as the concession stands on the other side. Last night I went to the 9:30 showing of Captain America. As we're watching the movie, a man wearing a black face mask covering his mouth and nose walked into the theater and was looking around, came up the stairs all the way to the top row corner (where we were sitting) and stood there with what looked like a clip board in his hand and just looked around the theater. He then walked down the stairs, up the other side and did the same thing. We're hoping that he works there which seems like the most likely case, but my friends and I were freaking out considering the tragedies that have occurred in movie theaters. If he did work there, I don't understand why he had to be wearing all black and black mask like that. How do you not think that would scare people? And when the movie was over and I went to look for someone to speak to about this, THERE WAS NOT ONE WORKER OR SECURITY GUARD IN SIGHT ON A SATURDAY NIGHT. I was fuming. Don't let this happen again. I've been to this movie theater a few times now. It's the newest ones on Staten Island. It's actually a really good theater. It has a bar, which is nice; AMC theaters have bars and this makes movie going feel like more of an experience. It has many theaters, so plenty of showings, and the seats in the theaters are super comfy; they recline and are pretty plush. My only gripes about this theater are about the concession stands and the bar. This theater also isn't usually as crowded as the other ones on Staten Island. The concession stand is pretty basic, In terms of menu items. AMC theaters definitely have more diverse menu items. And the bar is fine, but they only pour minimal portions of wine and beer and the mixed drinks are a bit weak. Other than that, this theater is actually pretty great. My husband and I travel from the north shore to this theater (around 30 minutes) and it's always worth the trip. One pretty cool thing is that this theater has a gender neutral bathroom as well as the standard men's and women's rooms. This theater is definitely a good spot for an outing or a date. read more

I have never seen a business run so poorly in my life I am a regal unlimited member and was going to purchase tickets for a 1030 showing when I arrive to the theater 15 minutes late on purpose mind you because being an avid movie watcher I wanted to skip the trailers as I always do but to my surprise the doors were locked at 10:40 When the posted hours for this business are 11 AM to 11:30 PM that is literally ridiculous you're closing a complete hour early because you don't wanna do your job Then mind you after calling the theater and them telling me they would be right down to open the door I then waited another 20 minutes till finally someone came down Who agreed they locked the doors at 10:40 and found nothing wrong with that he then refused to let me in or sell me tickets This is ridiculous if you're going to post on your website and store front that you're open till 11:30 PM you should not be closing almost a full hour before that DO YOUR JOB I will definitely be canceling my membership And switching back to AMC it's a little further from me but I've never had an experience like this there Plus they don't charge you $.50 for booking your ticket in the app and nickel and dime you for a 3-D show or a special screen show AMC is a flat $25 rate and that's it I would've had my tickets purchased already and maybe avoided this issue if this company wasn't so stingy read more

The theater was having electrical issues, not BED BUGS! This is brand new theater that just opened to the public on 5/16/19. They have fully reclining leather seats as well as an expanded food menu with things like pizza, taco, sandwiches etc and also desserts like cheese cake and churros. They do not bring the food to your theater like amc but you also paying reasonable prices at regal. read more

This new theatre is beautiful. We went to see Rocketman on a Sunday. The lines were not bad at all and we were able to scan out tickets and get to our seats with no problem. The seats are very comfortable and plenty of room to watch the show..Then the fun starts. Why do we have to watch 30 minutes of previews, commercials, etc before the movie? we had 1:15 tickets and the movie didn't start til almost 2:00 pm. Also they decided to have a fire drill during these same commercials but didn't announce anything until you were walking down the hallway towards the exit. Then they decide to tell you sorry, just a test.. Is there no P.A. system to make announcements? As we were leaving the escalator to go down was broken so we had to walk down the stairs. I live in Marine Park, Brooklyn, but I was there yesterday seeing "Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker" with my family and a friend and her family because her and her family live in the Tottenville neighborhood of Staten Island. While the outside looks nice, there were fundamental things wrong with our first visit today. Box office window was closed & had to wait in concessions stand line to get ticket. After purchasing food items with tickets, no cardboard trays to carry food to theater. Once in theater, a little bit of a funky smell I can't put my finger on lingering in here & seats/tray tables were not cleaned in between movies. I had to clean off myself and throw away someone else's garbage. Seats are ok but much, much smaller than the ones at Atrium on Arthur Kill Rd. Now watching movie & sweating because it's way too hot in here, even after telling workers. Overall, not impressed & will be going to Atrium from now on. read more

The opening of this movie theatre was long anticipated! I remember hearing that it would be regal back when it first was being built. Finally after months and months of waiting it's open and ready for business. It quickly became my favorite movie theatre on the island! Every theatre has nice, large reclinable seats with a nice sized table for your food. It's not exactly a "dine-in" movie theatre, but you can order more than your typical movie theatre food. I haven't tried too many things, but the pretzels are amazing! They come with cheese and mustard and they're just very tasty. Unfortunately, they take a while to be made so if you're running late for the movie you might not want to take that risk. There is also a full bar next to where you order your food. I got a large beer that came in a reusable cup for about $8, I thought that was pretty reasonable. The tickets are also slightly cheaper than competitors on the island ($15 each) which is nice. All in all, it's a very clean place with good options for movies and I will definitely continue returning here. read more

The movie theater its self is great, but the staff they have in the food area aren't up to par by any means. The first time I came in I ordered a slushee and a chicken burger w/fiesta poppers, the slushee was dry just like a hunk of ice which Idk how that is even possible. The chicken burger must have been frozen and cooked very fast because I could have used it as a Chinese throwing star and don't let me get started on the "fiesta poppers". I ask the young lady what is inside expecting jalapeño, and she just shrugs her shoulders, mumbles and looks away. I ask the other gentleman who was there because of it was any other pepper I didn't want it...he goes into the back and tells me that "fiesta" is inside I AM NOT KIDDING....what?!? (Btw it was some type of red pepper inside) was the . So today I come back to see Godzilla and was on the brink of an anxiety attack from the customer service skills of Dominick, he was incapable of taking a simple order and extremely slow. Over all their staff makes me not want to come back to such a beautiful new facility. The only guy who is personable is the security guard. Oh yeah not to mention they forgot our fries and while waiting for them Tom threw a hissy fit behind the confession stand. read more

The theater itself is great, I have seen 2 movies here so far. The seats are very comfortable and they recline all the way. The theaters that I have been in are small but it really is perfect. Matinee prices are $11 and after its $15. The only complaint I have is the prices for food, $7.00 for a small popcorn (the reason I gave a 3) and when you ask for extra butter they just fill the whole bag with popcorn and dump a whole mess of butter on the top its better to layer the butter (1/2 popcorn 1/2 butter & so on yes I know it's stupid but its better). I do plan to come back here but hope that the employees are updated on how to properly serve and if they alter their prices which are insane read more

The theater is amazing, comfy seats, great food, nice people working there but there is no pretzel bites which I am not that mad about since thats just a tiny issue and also the elevator is broken and once I tried to use the elevator and when the door was closing it just stopped half way and then I got stuck in the elevator so I had to pry the door open with my hands and it started making a beeping noise. but anyways this theater is my favorite movie theater on staten island and thats saying alot because staten island has some great theaters! read more

Just got home from taking my niece to see the Lion King, the theatre was extremely clean seats were beyond comfortable staff was so kind and helpful my only complaint is the bathroom was at the other end of the complex we were in theater 6 otherwise we had a great time I used my points to get a free popcorn and an upgraded soda will definitely be coming to this theater from now on read more
