Everything from the rowed Xmas lights on the ceiling, to the custom avant-garde wooden bar top speaks late 60s/early 70s cozy-chic to me. On top of this, the music and clientele rocks and, as a bonus, the interior is decked out in Rat Pack movie memorabilia -- apropos as the spot is, I imagine, named for the 1955 Sinatra film! When I went inside, I immediately liked the camping and outdoor vibes. The whole place has that rustic, lodge-style feel that makes it stand out. They had a bunch of pinball machines, which was a fun surprise, and there were murals all around the walls -- including ones of Lakers legend Kobe and the LA Dodgers. It definitely gives off strong local pride and a laid-back atmosphere. The inside is very spacious, with plenty of room to move around and a lot of TV screens, making it a solid spot to catch a game. I could easily see myself coming back to watch a Dodgers game there. That said, my experience at the bar wasn't the best. When I stepped into line to order, it seemed like the two beertenders were a bit distracted. There was a group of ladies sitting at the bar, and it felt like they were getting most of the attention. Usually, beertenders are welcoming and might ask something like, "Is this your first time here?" but the guy with the long mustache who served me gave off more of a "What do you want?" vibe. I asked for a taster, and he did provide one, but I didn't feel comfortable enough to ask to try anything else. At other breweries, I usually feel encouraged to explore the menu a bit more. Instead, I just winged it and ordered the Pink Lemonade Seltzer. It was okay, but compared to a lot of seltzers out there now, it wasn't very flavorful. It almost had a slight medicine-like taste. Because I didn't really feel the love from the beertenders, I ended up having just one drink and heading out. The space itself has a lot going for it -- great theme, fun games, plenty of TVs, and nice outdoor seating -- but I definitely think there's room for improvement in the customer service department. I might give it another try in the future, especially to catch a Dodgers game, but I'm hoping for a warmer, more welcoming experience next time.

The ladies in our group had three slushies: a Chamoyada, a Tamarindo, and a Chika Fresa ($14.95/ea.). I had an Ancestral Old Fashioned ($15.99) and was one of the better ones I've had, especially at that price. We didn't have any food on this visit, but I'd return to give their kitchen a try and see how they measure up, food wise.

I ordered the Enchiladas Verdes and the Hubs got the Burrito Mojado. Both were chicken. When the food arrived, I was a little disappointed. because the enchiladas looked a little dry. However, looks can be deceiving. They were actually quite moist and quite delicious. The chicken was flavorful and tender, and the sauce that covered the enchiladas was excellent. I realized later that the reason the enchiladas looked dry was because they were not smothered all over with cheese and sauce, which is how I am accustomed to seeing them. However, in this case less was more. The accompanying beans and rice, however, left much to be desired. I took one bite of each of the bland items and immediately pushed this dish aside. However, my husband, who has a much more forgiving palette, took them home to eat later. When I asked him about his burrito, which looked humongous, he stated it was delicious. Overall, the food was good; not really authentic but if you are looking for Americanized Mexican food that's not too spicy, this place will probably appeal to you. I would say its the Olive Garden of Mexican food. I'd probably return just because their drink menu looks good and I'd like to try it soon.

I haven't even mentioned there are often live musical performances on Friday from indie/electronic/psychedelic musicians.
