First time visiting this theater kinda glad it was for a $5 Tuesday! To begin with, there is no outside lighting usually a theater has its logo on but not this one. We skipped the popcorn & drinks line that was very long. No problem clearing check point as I had my tickets on AMC app. Our movie entrance #7 was very close but to our dismay there was a VERY STRONG musty smell... the seating is old & not up to date as in Pines AMC 9. This musty smell already is giving me a headache before the movie even begins!! Ugggh not coming here again even if it's closer!! read more

The most DISGUSTING theater I have ever been to, ever. Both the women's & men's bathrooms were completely filthy. I will spare you the details, but it was enough to get me and my friends to never return. It was shocking to see so many employees AND management just walking around ignoring the bathrooms. The seats in the theater also reclined way too far back, uncomfortably far back to the point where you are halfway into the row behind you. Unbelievable that this place is in business. This was my first time at this theater, have to say it's pretty alright. The seats were comfy, the sound was good, the movie quality was pretty good. In other theaters when they had ads playing they would be accompanied by videos. They didn't do that here, but it did test my skills for listening out for some of the ads. Overall the experience was enjoyable the movie was great. The place was not a frozen wonderland like most of the other theaters, which was great. read more

I was somewhat forced here tonight, and I was kind of not having it. I was a super hialeah-theater hater. It was old, worn down, it had super uncomfortable seating and don't get me started on the annoying 13 year olds trudging around... Well, all that has changed. It's completely revamped and remodeled! Super nice view. Nice architecture, new carpeting, and they even added a miniature arcade (comparable to a very small Dave and Buster) complete with a two lane bowling alley. The theater was dirty as soon as I walked in and the ceiling is missing pieces from it. The chairs was halfway broken and barely recline how they're supposed to. I went yesterday with my family for a 12:30 movie. As soon as you walk the place looks dark, dingy and smells, and this is the lobby. You have to go to the concession stand to purchase tickets. They only had one employee and a hugh line. We get our tickets and they were affordable. We purchased popcorn and sodas but the machines had no ice. We go back to the concession stand and tell them there is no ice. They asked for our cups and processed to fill them with ice from the back. As we walked in to see the movie we found ripped seats and dirty floors. I was on easy throughout the entire movie thinking a bug was going to climb on us. As we left we went into the restroom and ALL the toilets were dirty. Never again. Please clean this place up. read more

Overall surprisingly trashy theater. Went to see a movie with teenagers just non stop talking, we told management and they did absolutely nothing. The pop corn was not worth the money spent and all the seats are torn. This building would be better used vacant. Save your money and head to aventura or pembroke. read more

Theater Management and Staff at AMC Hialeah 12 is Awful compared to the other nearby AMC theaters (aswell as the other chains nearby). i came here solely for DBOX btw as i have better options than this for everything else. i reserve a seat for The Meg 2D for DBOX (it's really great with DBOX btw) which is a $20 ticket for tonight's showing through the AMC app. when i get to the auditorium there's some guy in my seat. when i inform him that he is in my seat (i tried to find another seat nearby but couldn't find one) he proceeds to tell me that he too reserved the seat (lying through his teeth but it's expected). at this point all the DBOX seats (along with regular seats) are all filled so i have no choice now and go get an usher to get the guy out of the seat or get comped for this already unpleasant situation. at this point the trailers have already started and i can't even focus on the trailers because of this unpleasant experience at the start. finally the usher kicks pretty much half the row out (and the guy in my seat) because they did not reserve those seats (they can thank the guy in my seat for that). about 10 mins later the guy comes back and sits in the other empty seats next to me and his wife moves over with him. he also proceeds to talk loudly the entire movie aswell (seriously don't be this guy). this theater needs to get this sort of thing fixed before it can be recommended for DBOX. either put staff in the DBOX area to enforce until the movie has started or make the entire auditorium reserve seating (it's currently not). until this is fixed i cannot recommended anyone come here solely for DBOX. read more

Came to see Zootopia with my two young children and the employees FAILED to tell us that the A/C was broken in our theater! All other theaters have working A/C. It's the 11:45 am showing, therefore there are other theaters empty but they refused to show Zootopia in another one. If they would have told us about the broken A/C when we were purchasing the tickets, I would have gone somewhere else. When I inquired about switching theaters they just kept telling us we could go see another movie, and that "sometimes they forget" to tell customers about the broken A/C. Why are they even selling tickets to a theater with broken A/C?!? My kids are too young for another movie, and we came to see Zootopia, not the Jungle Book. Now we have to see it in a stuffy, damp smelly theater. Very disappointed. read more

I will never return to this theater! I have never been to a theater run in this manner. No actual person at the box office to answer questions. Sign was posted to go to the concession. Concession line was the longest I've seen of all theaters in Miami Dade county. I did see a man who tried to go up to the concession on the left where people waited for orders but was told to go online. I wanted to ask about rewards program but it obviously was not a good night. My husband and I spent another $18 at the concession to get hot soda, no ice available and no coke available, only flavored coke. Popcorn was cold and stale. Once in theater 1, we found our seats and was in shock at the behavior of the other guests. No ushers available for de-escalation. There were women coming in telling people to move because they were in their seat, only to figure out that they were in the wrong row. Just obnoxious behavior in general from the customer base. We hoped things would settle down once the movie began but it got worse. People cussing, recording the movie, camera popping every 20 to 30 minutes and replaying the part, people on social media, checking messages, credit scores, etc. I am sad to know the man in front of me has a credit score of 608. Hard not to notice a brightly lit screen in a dark theater. No usher came to the theater at any time. I have never seen or experienced a movie like this, ever! Ready to just leave, we tried to ride it out to see the movie, but when the lady started yelling and hitting the man to wake up, we had enough. What kind of management is running this theater. It was obvious that this is normal behavior for this theater, people just started laughing and cussing at the couple. As we walked out, we saw security standing in the wall where people leave. To put it simple, this place is terrible don't waste your money. I bought 2 tickets for my date and I and before we went into the theatre, the employee told us they had to clean up inside. We waited about 5 mins, finally went inside, sat down and immediately felt uncomfortable. The seats were wet and there was trash everywhere. Even cheese on the floor. So we went back out and told the employee that it wasn't clean in there. So he had his coworkers "clean" inside he theatre again and 2 mins later they claim it's clean. So we go back in there only to find the same trash we saw before we came out the first time. After this I was fed up and asked for a refund. Where to start - This used to be Muvico Hialeah 14 - no more! It has received a complete make over and its results are outstanding. Everything from the decor to seats, carpets, sound, picture quality....etc... It is Digital, 4K, Real 3D breathe taking! it is wonderful to have such place in our neighborhood were one can enjoy top quality entertainment. this theater has many choices for movie lovers such as ourselves. the regular seats are stadium seating plush and recline. now for really amazing movie experience, they offer what is known as "D-Box" We believe this may now be a new word to a few of us, but it will soon become a household word!!! It is your own mini thrill movie ride experience!!! it provides for a "hands on" movie watching adventure! you can reserve these for movies (there is an additional cost but believe me, worth it!) which are action packed. the seats move to the movie!!! my hubby expressed it as "out of this world" and it was also a Real 3D movie - TRON - he stated it was like he was actually in the game!!! the combination of both motion of the seat along with the Real 3D made for a speechless experience!! It is the way to go!!!! little ones in the family or elders young at heart, will love their new "huge" game room - which includes "2" mini bowling lanes!!! this area works by those known "game cards" which you place money into it, swipe at each game gain tickets and then have the opportunity to turn these in for prizes. kids & adults will enjoy this area! We have been advised that in the near future along with the already available choices of yummy foods like pizza with fries, mini sliders with fries, quesadillas, ice cream, popcorn, pretzel, etc... beer and wine will be available (of course to those of us 21 & older) at the concession stand. (easier to get your guy out to see a chick flick if beer available!) the service...... it was great to see all the employees filled of true joy and smiles assuring we were being taken care of. very pleasant. hats off to Mr Rosario - extraordinary young man. I just wanted to take the time to let EVERYONE know about my terrible experience at Muvico in Hialeah 14. I usually go to the Muvico by my house in Tampa and never once have had a horrible experience. But, as I was on vacation in Miami I went to the Hialeah theater and it was the biggest mistake I did on my trip. The HORRIBLE customer service makes this location a DISGRACE to your corporation! First off we get to the movies to see Fast 6 (Saturday, 4/27, 11:20pm showing) the lady at the box office was distasteful and rude. In the middle of her helping us she tells us to "hold on" as she leaves and goes inside to talk to one of her friends. Another worker comes out and asks for the next person in line and so we decided to go to her for help. I told the girl that was helping us how rude the other girl was and she simply brushed me off and rolled her eyes as if my opinion is of no value to anyone. Next, we were asked to wait in a long line on the side to get into our theater. Management decides to rip our tickets at 11:20pm on the dot, of course this is causing everyone to decide to skip others in line. It was chaotic! Children were being knocked down, people were stepping on people, I had others walking into me with their food- it was so unorganized and frustrating. As we are going in there are two women that were ripping tickets in the front of the line and one man who I assumed to be the manager ripping tickets on the side of the line. That was a stupid idea! Because now you have people rushing to the side of the line and those people getting their tickets ripped would essentially have to get their stubbed checked twice cause more CONFUSION and line congestion. I had my ticket ripped on the side by the gentleman and as I proceed to walk in through the ladies I show her my ticket stub and keep walking in an effort to let other's pass. This lady has the NERVE, the NERVE!!!!!!!!! to yell at me and tell me to "wait like everyone else." Funny thing is- I DID FOR FORTY- FIVE MINUTES AND ACTUALLY HAD OTHERS SKIP ME IN LINE WHILE I WAITED PATIENTLY. That was my limit!!!! So I voiced my opinion about the horrible management and customer service so the "manager" if you want to call him that- runs up to me (the same guy who ripped my ticket) and asks "what's my problem" with an ATTITUDE!!!!!!!! I can't believe this!!!! His name is ALEX ROJAS- as he so proudly told me with a disgusting attitude. The movie was great (fast 6- go see, just not at a Muvico theater)! As we come out the movies there was vomit in front of the door and no one was around to clean it up. I went to use the bathroom the first stall was flooded with diarrhea and the second stall had urine everywhere- at this point I just left! I left disgusted and annoyed with this place! NEVER AGAIN!!!!!! I will make sure to tell everyone about this!!!! Muvico- make sure to tell "ALEX ROJOS" and his employers to learn some manners and how to talk and treat people! Came on a Tuesday for the $5 tickets all day which is a great deal. But honestly you get what you pay for. No stadium seating. Seat bottoms fall forward when you sit down. Movie was supposed to start at 1:05pm. It is currently 1:15pm and not even previews on the screen. Oh and you have to buy your tickets at the concession stand so you have to make the line although you are not buying food. Come at your own risk. read more

Wtf!! Wtf happened to this theater, when they first remodeled it , it was pretty good, now you have to purchase tickets at the concession counter(if you dont buy online). Im assuming they do this to get you to buy that overpriced microwave food and thats fine from a business aspect , however the kids working the area are so freaking slow youll miss most of the movie if you order something, the line is long because most people need tickets or a snack so they're in the same line , then once again they are slower than a sloth/snail race. Manager is never there , its a very frustrating experience, I get there 30 minutes prior to the movie start time but still end up walking in the theater in darkness 20 minutes into the movie!! I went to this movie theatre with my 9 years old son... It was my first time and the pictures seem ok. But... the moment we arrived to the mall, the nightmare began... The parking lot was crowded... we had to park half mile away... I had the tickets bought online, but they sent us to the concession stand to pick up the 3D glasses ...We did not want to buy anything, but anyway, we had to queue for half an hour ... the cashier was extremely slow ... when we arrived the theater , we had to sit in the front row ... Prior to the remodeling it was in bad shape and definitely the "last resort" theater but the new face-lift has really brightened things up. When we arrived the woman that attended us at the ticket counter was polite,friendly and professional. I started to wonder if I was still in Hialeah, no less on 49th Street. The staff needs to be changed. I come in with my 8yr old daughter and the staff behind the counter playing grab ass and the language. No one needs to hear about who they sleep with a details while you are being served popcorn. I will definitely be calling the corporate office because this is the 3rd time I see this. Granted it's in Hialeah so us Miami Springs residents use this theater but just because it's in the hood does not mean it needs to be sub-standard. I'm with Gabrielle on this one.... I went on a Tuesday nite with hubby and some friends to redeem some free passes I got. First impression was they did a GREAT job remodeling this theater. Very nice. Went up to the cashier to exchange the passes for tickets but she said we didn't have to. When we got to the ticket guy he wanted to send us back to the cashier! Seems they need to do a little more training. OK Whatever. No big deal. On to the actual theater....filthy!! Popcorn on the floor and soda cups in the armrests. You would think they'd wanna keep such a nice updated place spic & span. Chairs were comfy though. Our fellow movie goers were loud and obnoxious. Would not shut up during the entire movie. What a pain! There were even a group of teenage lesbians wanting the rest of us to know their sexual preference by commenting about the actresses on film. Seriously?!?!? Who the hell cares?? This place is OK. I have been coming here since I was in High School it has certainly changed and is much cleaner then what I remember. They remodeled it a few years back and it looks much better and even added a better arcade. My only problem is that when you watch a movie they put it so loud that you hear the movies from the other theaters. The room just vibrates like crazy. Also the chairs need update. But I do enjoy the pictures of old Hialeah in the hallway! That is a very nice touch! read more

This theater appears to be a little older, seats arent horrible but are also older and tighter. Quality of the movie was ok, the sound was peircing during suspense. I wouldn't prefer to go here, especially with all the newer advancements but It will get the job done. read more

This movie theater is terrible! Every time I come (only Bc certain movies are available here or Bc of schedule correlation). There is a problem with sound or the screen. Today came to see ugly dolls and the movie started 40 min late. I spoke to the manager Bc I have tickets right after this movie for The intruder, as I have children in different age groups. She basically told me pick one to refund. I said which child do I tell Bc of your technical issues they get to not watch their movie. She said I'm not making the choice for you.
