OK this movie theater is terrible the staff is mean or rude and the theater is disgusting absolutely disgusting I went to go see Interstellar with my husband at the MUVICO theater on W 49 St Hialeah this theater is a dump.The popcorn they gave us was all burnt and disgusting.The volume for the movie had gotta be at 100 because it was really loud the theater room was gross there were broken 3D glasses on the floor and so much popcorn and candy it was like a 50,000 feet garbage truck in there don't go this movie theater it sucks and you'll be treated badly read more

I'm giving this movie theater a five star, let me explain why! I only come here during the day and mostly during the weekdays and some Saturdays during the day so there isn't a lot of people around. If you ignore the fact that it is in Hialeah and you go out of time where there isn't a lot of people from the area you will have a great time. The theater is huge the seats and everything has been renovated. They have a great arcade room where i take my son every chance I get. And if they come when you're not busy the services is always great! read more

This is probably the worse theater I have ever been to . So I went to see the movie IT , and as I walk in to the theater I knew something was wrong . I was exactly right it was a bad odor and it was due to the AC not working in the theater. I went and spoke to a manager and he said that the AC was broken . I had to leave cause my wife and son could not tolerate the smell and the heat . No refund has been issued to me and I spent about $60 dollars on the tickets that were on the D-box seating . Then you go in and there's no one controlling the regular seating people from sitting in your D-box seats , so when you tell the people sitting in your seats that they are sitting in your seats they acting as if they paid for those seats . So now you have to go get an employee to come check that person because if you check them they were going to get jacked up . Never again , no kind of control in that theater. But if you want to sit in the D-box seats just pay for regular seats and then when you go in the theater just go sit in those chairs , no one is controlling where you sit . Garbage ass place . Sorry but I would not recommend this theater. read more

This is probably the worse movie theatre I have been to, EVER. This particular theatre is located in an incredibly busy area and you would think they would be ready to serve such an area but man, far from that. I will never come back to this place again. The box office was closed so they had their guests pick up tickets at a machine that was broken.. mind you the ONLY machine in the building. The line to the concession stand was ridiculous. They have 2 lines, one for regular guests and one for premiere members. I have never seen this in a theatre before. Line was super long and they only had 3 people working that night.. 2 people behind the counter and one checking tickets as you get to the actual theatres. No manager to be found. This place has no love in it whatsoever. Dirty, smelly, seats are falling apart. The bathroom, absolutely disgusting. Go spend your money at another theatre. This place is an absolute joke and the owner of this theatre should be ashamed to invite guests walk through their doors. If I could rate this place as a negative I would. read more

I hadn't been here in years, back when it was Muvico 14. This place really cleaned up. They have a kick ass game rooms and the the seating in the theater is awesome, stadium style. What's cool also about it is that you can pick you seats from and they show you a display to where you'll be sitting. AAAANNNNNDDDD they have beer!!! Kinda pricey (all theater food and bev always are) but its cool they have it. Good improvement to what this place used to be. Will def come here again when I'm hinkering for a movie while in Hialeah. read more

I went to Theater it was dirty anyway we went to see skyscraper and we were early, so I order 3 Chicken nuggets with fries and a Coke each, I also got nachos and a Coke when I saw the Toto I almost die $77 with this money I could've went to a good restaurant and had dinner for all of us a little bit more about his would've been worth it I'll never go back to this theater the girl was rude I try to ask her why is it so much she didn't want to answer me I asked you for the price of each do you want to answer me rude After the movie I had to stop at the bathroom when I went in there all of the toilets were nasty paper on top with shit all over all of them not in the world was clean I love that in there so fast I had to wait until I got home to use the bathroom can I believe is the priceWhen I check the price up for chicken nuggets on the website it was $12.99 and the Nachos was $7.99 This comes out to $46.96 and soda 4 of them 10.00 With soda 56.96 so you telling me That the tax was $20.00. Ok, so this is not the nicest movie theater around. No stadium seating. Not super clean. But it does have several redeeming qualities. First, it is a little cheaper than most other theaters around. Secondly, it is located in strip mall so there is plenty of parking around. It's really easy to park and get inside to your movie. This is especially good when you have kids in tow. Compare this to Aventura Mall where the theater is much nicer, but it takes 20 minutes to park, get upstairs, and get your ticket. There is also a small video arcade attached which is fun for the kiddies. Finally, there are several decent food options around for after your movie. So overall, I give Muvico Hialeah a big thumbs up and recommend to anyone who is not a movie theater snob especially those with kids. read more

Reviews are right. Smells like mold. Seats are damp and soak into your clothes. Air is very heavy and humid.

I still stand by my original review; however, if you do not have any other theater to go to because of this one's proximity and ticket pricing, then I suggest to go on Sundays. I've gone twice on a Sunday, one time at 5pm and the other at 11ish and did not experience anything bad. And so, that is the best time to go. read more

It's been a while since I've been to this movie theater. But since last time I came here when all was renovated beautifully and the seats where great and comfy to now like night and day. It seems to me whoever is managing this property doesn't take pride in his work cause not only did I have to buy my tickets at the concession stand but when I go to sit at least 15-20 seats in the small theatre where broken you couldn't sit comftable cause your leaning on the seat or almost laying in the ground. The worst part is I was there with my kids to see teenage mutant ninja turtles, just came out and they have it in the smallest theater room they have. The place was packed cause it's new movie and they have it in the small one. It was so bad I remember one guy having to sit in one of the broken seat and his face was about 8" from the seat in front. I will never go here again all my kids where disappointed. read more

If I could give it ZERO stars, I would! There was no one in the ticket booth when we arrived to watch our movie, so no customer service whatsoever. As soon as we entered the theatre hallway, the first thing you smell is the bathroom! Theatre 1, where our movie was located, smelled like urine and ALL the seats were broken and coming out of place. Going to this theatre was the worst part of our trip, but hey, it gave us a good laugh when we left. Never going there again! read more

I only gave it 1 star to be able to write this review. I went with my family to watch Anabelle which came out yesterday. Once we got to the lobby you see that it is filled with immature middle school/high school aged kids everywhere that act like animals. We thought about leaving but decided to stay since it was already late (movie started at 10:40pm). The room we were in was pretty large, seats are fine. But the people there were so rowdy and loud. They were screaming out bad words, banging on the walls, singing inappropriate songs to the top of their lungs and there was even a time where someone pulled out a taser and started playing with it. I had enough and immediately went to the manager who was there at the food court and told her everything in which she did nothing about it. She said they were going to send someone, they didn't. I went again and she said the cop was going to be there, he never showed up. Threw out the whole movie people were constantly talking loudly, on top of that every second you'd hear "SHHHH!!" And "SHUT THE F*CK UP ALREADY!" ....this is the last time my family and I will ever be at this movie theater since they seem to attract uncivilized people. Oh, and the bathrooms were the cherry on top to it all. Smelled horrific, toilet paper all over the floor, pee ON the floor. Nope never again. I'm surprised this place is still open. read more

I have not been to Muvico in years. The place look so great with all the changes. They have beer and wine now :) the food was great. I love the fact that you get all in one in concession (tickets and popcorn). The staff were nice and made me feel welcome. There was a big fight in the lobby but the police and management team took care of the situation. AWESOME EXPERIENCE and I WILL DEFINITELY BE RETURNING WITH FRIENDS and FAMILY :) !!!!!!!!!! read more
