Theater is very nice and clean. Although some of the reviews mention bad experiences with workers, I have yet to have that happen to me while seeing a movie here. My only "con" to this theater is I do feel the actually rooms get very warm easily so keep that in mind when dressing since most movies are 2+ hours. Customer service was great. They were helpful in guiding us how to use their app to a more seamless experience. They also check for your tickets twice, which made me feel more secure about people trying to sneak into a movie. I've been to many AMC theaters. I'm also a premier holder. I went to this theater November 12th at the 11pm seeing of wakanda forever. When I first come in it's beautiful. There's always a but, it was not clean at all. There was popcorn in the hallways to each theater room. The bathroom smelled like urine and poops and the hallway near Dolby Theatre 1 smelled like urine and stale popcorn. There was a worker standing there trying to stand in front of the mess of popcorn in stead or sweeping it up. I've worked at a movie theater before (arclight) and I know you can use your walkie and call an associate to bring you a broom if you can't Leave your post. This employee did no such thing. Also the seats were sticky and very uncomfortable. You can feel the bars of the sees through the recliners. I had seats G15-16 very good view for the sliver screen but very uncomfortable. Hope the next time I visit or if I do it will be better. For those who do work hard here keep up the good work. read more

On the whole, this cinema plaza has a lot to offer. Its ambiance and the theater's grand size appeal to me, yet there are certain drawbacks. For instance, the Dolby section is noticeably smaller than the one at Burbank's AMC 16. Moreover, the seats do not recline completely, giving a somewhat uncomfortable hovering sensation. Most frustratingly, I've found no cell service on my last two visits, meaning you need to connect to Wi-Fi for any kind of external communication. It's not the pinnacle of movie theaters, but neither is it the pits. It's worth experiencing for yourself. read more

I am a regular at this Theatre and I have had great experiences here. I dont normally write reviews, but I was reading some of the reviews and came across one from Mom to H, and I remember being there when this situation happened. I have to say that her review is not completely honest. I was there and she was out of control and rude, I think the Manager did a great job trying to handle the situation but she just acted entitled and did not want any of the options or solutions the manager was trying to give. I dont think she has the right to put a picture of him and complain after she acted immature and rude. I have had nothing but good times here and the staff and managers have accommodate me when I asked for special requests. read more

We were very excited when this theater opened because driving to the west valley for a movie was a hassle. We have now been there a few times and it gets more disappointing each time. Let's start with their description. They feature their "AMC Signature Recliner" which is a great selling point. However, these luxury seats are not for the disabled. There is a wall behind the handicapped seating row that limits your ability to recline. Apparently the designers didn't realize that the ability to raise your legs is actually good for many people with mobility issues. Moving on to the theater experience. The first time we went there, the person by the door checking tickets sent us to the wrong theater. There are no signs, so we didn't realize we were in the wrong theater until the movie started. By the time we moved to the correct theater, we had missed the first 20 minutes of the film. The server at the bar was too busy flirting with someone to acknowledge my existence let alone take my order, so no drink for me. The theater app has a feature that allows you to preorder food. Too bad they never have your order ready. So on our last visit, we decided not to order online and went to the concession stand. They were out of almost everything. No pizza, no hot dogs, no pretzels, no nachos. We were told it was supply chain issues and would have been understanding if we hadn't just been to another AMC theater which had all of these foods and more. Apparently their alleged supply chain issues extend to toilet paper because prior to the movie, only 2 stalls had toilet paper. We thought maybe it was timing, but after the movie, there was a huge line for the only two stalls with TP. Meanwhile, there were at least 4 employees stocking the candy shelves. Not one of them could put toilet paper in the stalls because it was clearly more important to stock candy for the next day. What a shame that this beautiful theater is such a mess. We are back to driving across the Valley to see a movie. read more

I was at this theater August 20 2022 waiting in line for premier for 5 minutes with no one else in either like until they customer she was dine with . the cashier had the nerve to call that person that walked up way after me abs that customer said im sorry they were here first then this cashier Said too him so what does it matter. Nice clean theater. I like coming here, however I have had bad experiences with the customer service at the concession stand. There is several bad reviews of this happening frequently. We have the premier AMC and go to the designated line to buy popcorn and they don't care, they will take everyone else before they take the priority lane. Well it happened again and when I spoke up, Jake who took my order was very rude and when he handed my cup he didn't just hand me the cup, he slammed it on the counter. I'm SO happy to be able to go to the movies again. I've been thinking about movie popcorn for months! Allow for 10 minutes extra while the crew figures out how to efficiently dispense drinks , popcorn, etc. Only one person was handing out napkins and that one person was the only person also doing drinks. It was slow. A massive disappointment was my soda. This is exactly why I sneak in my own soda, there was almost no carbonation. Dang. Kinda ruins things. We got the jumbo popcorn and it wasn't the same as before. Yes they gave us containers of liquid oil, but it didn't taste as buttery. I hope things aren't like this much longer. BUT, still had a nice time. Thanks for opening AMC! Loved my reclining and heated chair, workers were super nice, great bathrooms, beautiful theatre. read more

We hadn't been to the movies in a long time. We were looking forward to a movie and popcorn. However, I was forced to leave the theater to go next door to buy a blanket but ended up with two beach towels because that is what was available. We had our winter jackets on and now covered with beach towels!! After 40 minutes, we were forced to leave. It was just way too cold!!! Won't be coming back. When will customers matter?? $66.00 for tickets and popcorn.....then the expense for the towels!! UNBELIEVABLE!! read more

Have gone multiple times where they took nearly everyone from the regular line before taking one person from the premier line. Literally felt like I was being punished for being a loyal customer. So I have always been an AMC attendee, but I was ecstatic to learn that one had opened up in the North San Fernando Valley, and wow was it amazing. Located at The Vineyards at Porter Ranch, I was expecting more from this AMC theatre. The upside includes a very large parking lot, a very friendly young man took my ticket, and the theatre seats (the ones that work anyway) are very comfortable. The restroom was also large and relatively clean. The ticket kiosk was pretty straightforward and purchasing the tickets was easy. The prices and wait time at the concession stand were outrageous. I waited over 25 minutes to buy popcorn and a soda for almost $20 (the tickets were only $11.39/ea). I didn't know you could get food poisoning from popcorn and a soda. If you do a google search on "popcorn food poisoning," you'll be surprised to see how many returns there are and that most of them are for an AMC theatre. I was violently ill for hours. The staff behind the counter was wearing gloves to touch their faces, adjust their masks, put hair behind their ears, pick up the popcorn scoop from the floor and not wipe/clean it in any way, and to touch customer food. The cross contamination was disturbing enough that I never should have ordered or eaten anything from this establishment. Trust me, I won't do it again. This is a large theatre and there were a lot of patrons the day we were there. It was the afternoon before Thanksgiving and the vast majority of moviegoers were parents and children. Super cute, and super loud. I don't know if it's a COVID practice or business as usual, this location keeps the theatre doors open. As throngs of children go screaming by, it disrupts the movie watching experience. There were also employees shouting in the hallways. Again, not improving the sound quality. Having said all that, if you don't go anywhere near the concession stand, you get a working seat (warmers and recliners), and you don't mind bouts of auditory interruption, it's actually a nice theatre. Because the last two visits the concession attendants put their thumbs in the drink cups and popcorn. Okay, they had gloves on. But I don't know if they were handling money with them first. The staff is friendly and the theater is new but small. You have to purchase your tickets one week in advance to get a seat for a weekend showing. Sometimes even on the weekdays. There is always a long wait at the concession stand so come 15 to 20 mins early if you want to get snacks. This amc is located in a nice and new outdoor entertainment plaza with shops and resturant. There is not enough parking. Once all the other stores open I'm sure it will be worse. This is only my go to theater because I live 4 mins down the street and staff is nice. read more

We've been waiting for this theatre to open since 2019! We finally got to see a movie here this week and I think this will be our new theatre instead of Fallbrook even though it's a little further away from home. The seats are so nice and HEATED! I'll never freeze in a movie again! That said, the heaters do get very hot even on the medium setting so I had to keep cycling it on and off. Staff was friendly and theatre/restrooms were clean. There is no cell service in this building and the "free WiFi" doesn't work so hopefully that will be fixed soon. It was a hassle pulling up our stubs membership and tickets without internet. read more

The area is really nice but It sucks that there is no service. In case of an emergency I just didn't feel comfortable. My husband and I were not ok sitting so close to other people. We have been distancing from others as much as we can whenever we are able to go out on a date. The popcorn was not good. I pretty much overheated from the seat warmers and could not enjoy the movie. I had a panic attack the whole movie, I couldn't relax and just use the recliner because every time I would move the seat warmer would start and would go to the highest setting.
