Overall good experiences here. We actually had one horrible experience with a group of friends...that had never been....but we didn't hold it against then since they attempted to make it right. My favorite place to watch a movie! Great leather seats, clean, great snack bar area. My husband and I used to love the cinema suites but they redid their entire menu and took off all my favorite items or almost doubled the price on some meals. Used to always get fish n chips basket for around $8, now that basket is $16! No thanks. Also mozzarella sticks are the best I've ever had and they took those off the menu! Heard couple next to us complain about new menu as well so I know it's not just us! Will stick to watching movie in regular seats since food in Cinema/Fork n screen is a disappointment. Great theaters but overpriced. Saw STAR WARS at the Union Station IMAX for $10. I could have paid $17 for the privilege of seeing it at the AMC 28, but why. I prefer Cinemark on Johnson Drive, AMC in Olathe is WAY OVERPRICED !!!! read more

Great seats in the Cinema Suites! The servers don't hassle you during the movie. Popcorn and a soda are a safe bet, but I'd steer clear of any of the other menu items in the Cinema Suites or Fork and Screen. The food is low quality. You'd be better off to eat elsewhere. The theaters are clean, restrooms are plentiful, and purchasing tickets is a cinch. read more

Just want to say I received courteous customer service from Nicole on 2/12/2012 around noon. I messed up while buying the ticket and got the time wrong. So I got the non-3D version of the movie. The theater itself is impressive. The decor and ambiance is lively and gets you in a good mood leading up to your movie. I like the self serve concession stands. I'm not crazy about the prices, but they definitely have an array of things to drink and munch on during your movie. They're definitely making a killer margin on the stuff. The seats are comfortable, and there is plenty of content/previews to bide the time until the movie starts. The picture and sound quality are excellent. Plus, it's stadium seating so your view isn't obstructed. I haven't tried their Fork & Screen option yet, so maybe that will be my next movie adventure. I'm sure the prices are up there like the concessions, but that's just reality in today's movie theater market I guess. read more

I visited last night and revived horrible service as well as watching a complete garbage movie, called captain marvel. When I went online asking for a refund, being I left 15 minutes into the movie, they denied my request. I suggest visiting a different movie theater. read more

My fave date movie theater... huge complex with many many screens, so they show a wide variety of stuff -- the big blockbusters & the smaller-release indy pics. We didn't hit up concessions, having just come from dinner, but it looked like there were plenty of options, including a full bar (and how can you not lurve a bar called MacGuffin's inside a theater?) Seats were VERY roomy and comfortable, sound wasn't crazy-loud. read more

I was at this theatre twice over the holidays. I like it better than the AMC 20 or the Palazzo because there are more theatres and therefore more options for movies as well as times. Additionally, parking is much better here than at AMC 20. I also like the ticket machines and the convenience of reserving your tickets in advance and picking them up at the kiosk without having to stand in line. read more

Gone are the old days of greasy aisles and bad sound. And little random spots and dots on the screen along with the occasional projector jam. Today's theaters are clean and digital. Heck, you can even dine-in at a few of the screens here. The only drawback is the occasional jerk patron sitting in front or back of you. That is rare, though. This is a good place. : ) read more

Im a fan of this AMC only because they offer fork and screen and cinema suites. Its getting expensive to see a movie ANYWHERE, and definitely more expensive for either of those two options, but the seating and space is well worth it. Obvious perks to getting to get food and drink during the movie, though the wait-staff needs to learn not to stand right in front of you when theyre getting orders from other people. This was a very nice theatre. Went to see Fast and the Furious 7 and the employees were nice and the theatre was clean. The bathrooms were clean as well and they kept the toilets cleaned and filled with toilet paper. Last theatre I went to none of the stalls had any toilet paper. I understand places get busy but make sure to keep the bathrooms filled with toilet paper. I haven't checked out the food area, but I will definitely be back and will check it out then. I recommend this theatre to anyone wanting to see a movie. read more

AMC Studio 28 - The building - Cinema Near Me - Olathe, Kansas

This is probably the best AMC I have ever been to. They have Fork and Spoon which is a dine-in theater. We ordered the chicken quesadilla and the club sandwich. Both were really good and the chips were quite tasty. It was way better than you would expect and reasonably priced. If you are in the area, you need to see a movie at this theater. read more

Always a great movie theater to watch a good flick at. Most of the time I order my tickets online and use my phone to check in. Pricing for food and movie are comparable to other theaters in the area. I like to come here to go to the fork and screen theaters. The food at fork and screen is good but not great so don't be too disappointed. Remember you're at a theater and it's an experience not gourmet meal. Love that they have a bar as well to enjoy those adult beverages! read more

Very nice theater close to my house so its easy to "sneak" away for a movie when we get a chance. We are a member of the Stubs program so the upgrades on drinks and popcorn are a nice touch. As most movie houses go it is better than normal with only minor "stickiness" on the floors of the theaters. I would highly recommend AMC going back to the higher (crazy, huh) ticket prices on the Cinema Suites with the food credit. The matinees are great for kids and we don't feel bad taking out three year old which makes for fun for the family! read more

We live near this theater so it is the one we usually go to. Pretty standard as they go. The staff is very friendly and helpful that is the thing that keeps us coming back here. Won't go into the astronomical prices, but that is the way things are. The DW really likes the drink machines that allow hundreds of different flavor combinations for the drinks. I am a head-over-heels in love with movies movie go-er. AMC has the best quality seating (comfortable) and the picture is way better than other theaters. And of course I love the Fork-and-Sreen, where there's a bar in front of your row so you can order your dinner and have it brought to you. There's not a ton to choose from, and some of the items aren't fabulous, but over-all the food is 4 stars. The Cinema Suites is a 21 and over experience that is heavenly. They are smaller theaters with recliners and trays that swing over you, and you can also order the same food as the FaS. The tickets to the movies are more expensive (worth it) and the food is quite pricey (sometimes not worth it), but a favorite go-to place. read more

The theater itself is good but the fork & screen is weird and gross. There is no point to the little lights to call the servers because they just come when they want. I have had the chicken fingers and the chicken alfredo and they are both disgusting. I wish they would make the food better because then it would be great. read more

We love this place but it can get pricey with two adults && two kids. My husband and I have been to their fork && spoon on several occasions, you at least spend around $80-$100 for two people. Especially if you go to the bar first. I would recommend going to one of the nearby restaurants if you want a drink before the movie, since they'll probably be much cheaper. Theater quality is great. The 3 stars are in reference to the fork and screen dining experience. Every item on their menu is outrageously overpriced for the quality of food you receive. Taste wise you can't tell the difference between their food and somewhere cheap like applebees, yet they charge fancy steakhouse prices. Best movie going experience I have ever had. The Cinema Suite provides a different experience than the Fork and Screen. We enjoyed the option to pre-select our seats in a 32 seat theatre. In addition to a full menu with attentive service, it is equipped with electronic cushioned recliners, and 3-D. We are fans of The Lord of the Rings story, so seeing the Hobbit in this venue was a special treat. We were also celebrating the Birthday of a dear friend. It was like a mini-vacation. The Thai Bang Tacos were delicious and my husband enjoyed his Fire Burger. The tea an soda prices were higher than we would have liked, and the tea was watered down. We go to AMC frequently and we always choose fork and screen, we want to snack and have drinks. They recently changed their menu which is way over priced and just ok. $16 for a quesadilla and it is really small..that's ridiculous. For a party of 3 we spent over $100 and usually do anytime we go to the movies. They no longer serve mozzarella sticks, you have to go get them at the snack bar... Why pay more for fork and screen and you have to get up and get your own food. Makes no sense. As soon as you get your drink turn on the light if you want another one in the next half hour because it usually takes this long for the server to come and who knows how long it will take for the drink to arrive. It's a good concept and we always go to the movies it just gets really expensive to take your family when its a $100+ each time you go. read more

The premier location to see a movie is now run down and dirty. The majority of the seats need to be replaced no longer support your weight . The dine in food has been delivered cold the last two visits and staff seemed very put out when we asked why. Just very disappointed in the demise of this theatre. read more

AMC 30 does it right. Yes it's more than I want to spend but neither is it the most expensive in town, but it is the best. Food is great, parking is no hassle, drinks are HUGE, staff is awesome - I wish that place downtown would take some notes. read more

I'm not a movie person, so it's rare I'd even think to review a theatre. Snack prices are ridiculous, but that's true for all theatres these days. Still, I like this place, esp. the "Fork and Screen" option. The Royal Burger is amazing. I've been going to this theater since 2000. The theater has gotten better and better over the years and with the Dine in portion of the theater, things continue to look up and bright for AMC. Food quality is fantastic. The dive bar has many great drinks. The atmosphere is always fantastic for a movie theater. People are having fun while working there while at the same time providing good customer service. Will continue to go there read more
