I go to this theatre whenever I'm in town. It's tucked away behind some restaurants and across from a large shopping center. They are the cheapest theatre in the area that plays newer movies (Temeku is obviously the cheapest, but they typically play older movies.) I personally prefer Regal Cinemas over AMC, but, beggars can't be choosers when you want to see a movie and there's only one theatre still playing it! The theatre has been recently renovated and the theatre I was in has reclining seats. I've been in theaters with better/higher quality and more comfortable reclining seats but this is definitely an improvement from their former seats. The theatre I was in tonight (2) was a small one. They offer a lot of food options as well as your typical popcorn, candy and soda. They have $5 movies on Tuesday like Regal. While this theatre isn't stellar I still will go here to watch movies when I'm in town visiting my family because of the low cost. read more

Saw endgame last week at this theater. I was in theater 7. I have 3 major complaints... first, the recliner buttons are super frustrating. Either I don't know what I'm doing, or they decide when they want to work. Pressing the buttons often does nothing. Secondly, the projector had a frozen pixel which left a blue dot on the screen the whole movie. I was greatly annoyed by this. It also flashed on the bottom half of the screen. Lastly, it was super warm. They didn't have the AC running cool enough for a packed theater. I tried to tell a manger about all these issues, but when I asked to speak to one, the staff member disappeared and I was done waiting. I like this theater and the renovations are nice, but these things are common maintenance items that the theater should resolve. read more

This theater is good if you want to catch a current movie without paying high prices and waiting in ridiculously long lines. I like how you can serve your own soda and icee's as well as the prices are easy on the pocket. Yes, it is not the most luxurious theater around, it is quite outdated, but for the price, and quietness, it's worth coming here. Update: figured I'd update this, theater has gone through a massive renovation, for the better, recliner seats, gourmet popcorn, alcohol, more modern look, and still cheap ticket prices, doesn't really get better then that. read more

Eew, this place is ..... yuuuuck. I was able to give it a 2nd chance here but this place is ghetto. We came in a room theater that hasn't been clean for one. 2nd, the trashes are filled to the top and we haven't even started the movie. 3rd, it has a real bad odor. Very musty. Like I can't breathe. Wanting to see the new star wars at an IMAX choose this theater for the distance. First, Spent aprrox $20 a tix online reservations. This place after spending that much, left us with 30 minutes of previews. 15 is the basic norm and acceptable, but 30 minutes, WOW. Second, in leaving stopped by to use the restrooms. There was no paper or soap anywhere in the womens restroom! How disgusting! Aren't employees handling your food required to wash their hands? Apparently not at this theater. We got our tickets on amc stub, when we arrived our seats were broken . They refunded our money minus the convenience fee and sold our seats after we were told we could watch the show. Therefore we did not get to see the movie. They admitted they knew the seats were broken but sold the tickets anyway. read more

We're Premier A-List members at AMC, which is a membership we pay for. We got in line to order concessions in the Premier member line, and I'm pretty sure the point of the A-List line is to skip the wait and the line, however multiple customers were helped in line ahead of us, and we ended up missing the beginning of our movie because of the wait. We had stopped to get concessions because we were under the impression they there would be no wait and that we would make the start of the movie, but that did not happen as 4-5 customers were helped ahead of the Premiere line. I really don't mean to sound picky about this, but Premier membership is a service we pay for, and we ended up missing the beginning of our movie because the service we pay for was not really honored. I understand running a business can be hard during these times, however the survival of a business is based very much on its good customer service as well. read more

Went to this so called theater to watch IW and the lady sold me a ticket for something else! The gatekeeper told me to go to #7 and i came back saying that the #7 room said "Deadpool 2" instead of Infinity War. She told me not to worry because the signs havent been changed. I sit through all the previews and lo and behold it was some damn comedy movie! I asked the girl why she said to go to #7 and she said it was because my ticket had that number printed on it. I looked at the ticket and it was for a comedy movie. How hard is it to print the correct ticket as to not confuse the gatekeeper? I spoke clearly when i asked for Infinity War. I give credit for the manager for giving my refund, but he should have given me options, like upgrade to an afternoon showing. read more

This theater is my absolutely favorite, mostly because of the seats and the drink machine! I love that there's comfy leather recliners to sit in at no extra charge, and they're HEATED! It's seriously the best. Also, the Icee machine and Freestyle drink machine are self serve, so you don't have to get in line to get refills. I love how easy it is, and there's sooo many drink options with the Freestyle machine, it has over 100 soda selection and even flavorings like cherry so you can customize your drink. This theater is the best one in Temecula, the seats are way better than Edwards, and tickets are cheaper here than Edwards. read more

Went to see a movie. I forgot my ID at home by mistake but luckily had my social security card on me. I'm a regular member of the amc pass & come in pretty often. The manager on shift wouldn't even come out to talk to me or try to resolve the issue. I understand its partly my fault for forgetting my ID, but as a frequent member I thought management could have tried a little harder to accommodate their passholders. Not impressed. read more

This is by far the best theater in Temecula! Location is great, staff is great, and popcorn is great! Thank you to the AMC staff member Caden for going above and beyond in explaining the specials of the week at AMC. Caden after the movie explained to me what is an A list member was and I may consider it especially since its summer Break and the A list allows customers to watch three movies a week! I like all the AMC theaters (especially the one in Poway), but I have a couple of comments - good and bad - about the one in Temecula. First, in the small theaters (just saw the Invisible Man in theater 4), the seats don't recline quite enough. I for one end up with a sore neck from the angle at which I have to hold my head up to view the screen. And the recline buttons in this theater are hard to use (the ones at other AMC's are way better). Second, I have been obsessed with the bagel bites at the other AMC theaters I visit - they are real bagels cut, basted I think, and then baked so they are crispy on the edges. They give you cheese sauce and a mustard sauce, too, if you want. Dee-lish-ous. The ones in Temecula are tiny, tator-tot-sized bagel items. But they are kind of greasy and not crispy. Bleah. The other issue I have with AMC is that you can't reserve seats using gift certificates. This makes no sense. My husband got me a dozen ticket certificates, and I tried to use them when making a reservation a couple of days ago. It turns out you can only use them at the theater. Considering that I only go to the movies when I'm able to choose a seat ahead of time, this is a big problem. On the plus side, workers are very friendly and the prices are reasonable. read more

I had a gift card for amc.. it was my first time coming here. The chairs are comfy. Of course the snacks were a little expensive but everyone already knows that... also, I guess it makes sense for the theater to have assigned seating but it's difficult when there 2 seats far from each other and a family of 2 come to watch a movie. Two stars. Pros: Cheap. Cons: The last three times my husband and I went there with our son something has gone wrong. When we went to see Guardians of the Galaxy they started playing a rated R movie instead. When we went to see Avengers: Age of Ultron the curtains didn't open till the middle of the movie. This last time we went to see Mad Max the aspect ratio was off on the screen, so the whole movie was curved upwards on the bottom. They never turn the hall lights off in the back and it's very distracting. read more

Yikes! This place need a facelift. I come here to avoid the crowds of the mall and to pay a cheaper ticket price. I do this particularly with movies that are not 3D. I came here to see a movie (obviously). The ticket counter was short handed due to an employee leaving her post to check out a puppy. Yeah, puppies are cute, I get it. I purchased my ticket and went to get my usual popcorn and drink. I am pleased to say that they offer Coke. The gentleman that helped me was very patient and extremely helpful. I gave my ticket and proceeded to the theater. I think it was theater 5, but don't quote me on that. The seats are dingy, I expected that. However, the real treat in this room was the exposed insulation showing on the right wall of the theater (at the end of the aisle walk way). I also had the treat of looking at the remains of what can only be described as a loogie of some sort that had found a home on the lower right hand side of the screen. So there it is. Yes, I expect it to be a little bit worse for wear than the theater at the mall and on a positive note, they no longer have some person come and announce what you are seeing before the movie starts. That was a little creepy. A bit more pride in ownership would be appreciated. Oh and this is random. I try to practice a pack it in pack it out philosophy. When I dutifully went to throw my soda and popcorn bag out, there was no trash can upon exit of the theater. Instead there was one half way back to where they collect your ticket. Anyway, simply disappointing. read more

This place is a joke, I haven't been here in years and I won't ever go back. They have a premium like that gets you in front of everyone witch is frustrating (if you don't have it ) . First of all, pretty upset that they don't give you the option to have your child share a seat with an adult like the other theaters do. Although the seats were reclined as far as they go, you still had to look up quite a bit. A positive was that there was good amount of space in front of the seats. read more

Well, hey; what can I say? I read the other reviews. Yikes! [I wanna go to that one reviewer's house after he/she hits the pot, and see if said bathroom smells.] I've been to the Digi on many occasions, and never found the restroom to be dirty, overly smelly, or more importantly: out of paper. But I don't rate the theater by the size of the toilets--I rate it by the size of the screens [sorry, but size DOES matter.] The theater I was in was way-deluxe. I'm talking a flippin' running-back's dream! [For those who have no idea what I'm talking about, that means once you're in the door [or have the ball], you can look up-field then break right--or left [since I'm a lefty, that's the way I run. But I don't judge those who go the other way--that's a choice every individual needs to make themselves....] Then she's off ... to the 50 yard line ... the 30! ... the 10!! ...TOUCHDOWN!!! Center of the row with the extra legroom [sigh]. Most theaters are for the mindless: they only have one way to go. It's that way or nothin', honey. You know a theater is big when you can switch-hit. Buuut, here's the reason this theater gets 4 instead of 5 stars from me: while the big theaters on the left are plush, the ones on the right are small. We went to see "Catching Fire" there for a 2nd time and the movie got kicked to the other side, and wasn't as enjoyable. But if you call the theater, they're sooo nice they'll tell you if the movie you wanna see is on the left or the right. [Love the staff!] I should know [being a retired literary agent], you can't judge a book by its cover [by the way, NEVER use that phrase--it's a cliché]. Small-ish lobby? Yep. No matter, as they don't have crowds that'll crush you like Wal Mart TV shoppers on Black Friday. I'd call it ... cozy. And there are a lot of plusses at the Digi. The ticket price and concessions are less expensive, the lines are shorter, the employees are nicer, [y'all get 5 stars!], and when it comes to parking I'm in Hog-Heaven. [No disrespect intended, Lord.] COVERED parking, so when it rains so hard you're lookin' for Noah [the real one--not Russell Crowe], or the sun is scorching hot, the Silver Fox [my Volvo S-80] is safe and comfy [and there are some random dudes there who get major props for their mad skateboarding skills!]. Overall, I'd much rather see a flick at the Digiplex than at the Regal on Elm Street [no, it isn't really on Elm Street, it's at the mall--that's just my code for 'it's a Nightmare'!]. I suggest you try the Digiplex and if you like, review. They need a few more people who appreciate what they have to offer [and who spend less time worrying about how the bathroom smells, as opposed to the wafting scent of freshly made butter-drenched popcorn, warm and salty [double sigh]. My sage advice: if you're looking for a good time for fewer bucks, check out the Digi. read more

This is definitely an "older" theater but the place was clean, seats were comfortable and people were friendly working there. Prices were fair also, so yes we'll be back! The location is a great kept secret, you do not have to wait for hours (Edwards) to see a movie. You can come out opening night and get in. The theater itself needs repair and hopefully now that AMC owns it we will see physical changes. The staff give you the vibe that you are at the movies with your best friends. The staff are accommodating, helpful, and considerate. I am glad that this theater has survived the turn-around that have happened at the plaza. They just remodeled the theater with new recliners my wife and I were very impressed until we realized the recliners don't recline your legs to a horizontal position it reclines to a position where your feet are tangling very uncomfortable many of the moviegoers felt the same way you go to watch a movie wanting to relax which we didn't read more

This is definitely a cheap theatre in terms of price, quality, everything! We happened to come here on a Tuesday night and they have specials on every Tuesday and Thursday! It was $5.50 for any movie. That is crazy! It's also $5.50 for the first showing any day. The theatre seats are pretty bad, but for the price, I really shouldn't complain. The theatre I was in had stadium seating so it was fine. There's definitely a shortage on staff because the box office was closed outside, and we had to go inside the theatre & buy our movie tickets at the concession stand. There was only one cash register open the whole time. Efficiency was poorly run, but i guess you get what you pay for! read more

We arrived slightly early lights inside theater room where off had to use our phones to find a seat. Movie was to start at 9:50, had to tell them the movie was not on after waiting they started the movie at 10:10. When the previews ended and the movie started the lights turn on like really?? Again had to tell them about the lights. Place is a little run down and old but it is cheap. read more
