I visited AMC veterans on a Sunday to see the Odyssey at 2 o'clock. I went with my husband and we purchased our tickets in advance. I hadn't been back to the movies in a while, the Odyssey was a great one to see in theaters, though it was very long. The IMAX there was great, the seating was comfortable and purchasing tickets online and then providing them at the entry was super simple. I didn't eat anything because I'm not really a movie food kind of person but I really did enjoy seeing a movie on the big screen again! Ample bathrooms, for all of the females trying to run out of the theater after a three hour movie to use the bathroom is a huge plus! read more

Before seeing Spider-Man: Brand New Day, I'd never tried ScreenX, so I was curious to see if it lived up to the hype. The movie itself was a great time, and while the extra side screens definitely make for a unique experience, it felt a little gimmicky to me and didn't really add much to the film overall. Still, I'm glad I tried it at least once. The theater itself was really nice. Everything was clean, the recliners were comfortable, and one thing I wish more theaters would copy is the self serve drink station. Being able to grab your own refills without standing in the concession line every time was a surprisingly nice perk. The only downside for me is the location. It took me almost an hour to get here, so it's probably not a theater I'll make the trip back to regularly. If you're nearby though, it's definitely a solid place to catch a movie, especially if you've been wanting to check out ScreenX for yourself. read more

Alright guys, here we go with another episode of Just How Life Goes, and I can't believe I actually went to see a scary movie. So I went to see Obsessed, and listen... that movie was WEIRD. Not even scary-weird. Just weird-weird. The entire time I was sitting there trying to figure out what was going on. Now, the movie itself was definitely an experience, but can we talk about AMC Veterans for a second? When I tell y'all that is probably one of the best movie theater locations I've ever been to, I mean it. The reclining chairs? Amazing. The comfort? Top tier. The customer service? Fantastic. The popcorn and specials? Absolutely worth it. As a chronic illness warrior, comfort matters. Being able to sit back, relax, and not have my back screaming at me halfway through a movie makes a huge difference. So if you're looking for a movie theater that's comfortable and chronic illness-friendly, this location gets a 10 out of 10 from me. The movie? Still trying to process that one. It's been awhile since I've been to the movies and I'm glad I chose to come here. The purchase online wasn't so bad (it can be a little bit more straightforward) I was able to use my employee discount vouchers so grateful to save some money and overall easy to purchase the Spider-Man movie tickets. Wow!! Haven't seen it busy like this in ages but still able to find parking. Easy to check in and use our food vouchers at the concession register. Found our auditorium and seats. We found it clean and comfortable. Loved the recliner seats and they seem to wipe them down so that is good. Definitely recommend this one for you and will be back again soon. read more

This is my absolute favorite theater because they have updated seats compared to the other AMC theaters and great customer service. I am a stubs reward member and that waives the online fees. I love being a stub member and most of all I love the Dolby experience and seats! Those seats recline and it makes me feel like I am comfortable at home. I just wish the Imax theater had the same reclining seats as the Dolby, but other than that I will continue to take the extra drive to go to this particular theater. read more

In terms of an AMC movie theater, this one checks all the boxes. Everything is very clean, they were climbing guitar in great condition and super comfortable, and the concessions have so much space. My first review of 2026 is based on my latest experience at the AMC Veterans Theater! My child is finally old enough to take to a theater and not have him get up multiple times during the show. Our experience watching the Zootopia sequel last weekend was one for the books. The theater was packed due to it being the last weekend of winter break but we were not deterred. Plus, the movie we saw had been out since November so there were plenty of seats to choose from. The upgrades that were made to this theater are awesome. The theater has comfy, reclining seats with privacy walls behind each row so that nobody's screen use is visible to your periphery. The theater itself was very clean. After my son dropped our entire bucket of popcorn while waiting for me to use the restroom, I immediately reported it and the attendee informed me that they do restroom checks every 10 minutes. I feel like tickets have gotten a little more expensive despite having a Stubs account, but the mobile app used to secure seats is user-friendly and beats waiting in a long line, so if I have to pay a convenience fee for that, I don't mind much. Concessions are where all theaters cash in, but if you order ahead or pack a bag of M&Ms instead of paying full price at the concessions counter, I don't feel like a medium popcorn and fountain soda will break the bank. As my son gets older and is more interested in movie viewing, I look forward to returning to AMC. read more

We saw a movie in AMC's Dolby Theatre and it was such a cool experience. The sound was incredible and made you feel like you were actually inside the movie, and the chairs vibrating during certain scenes took it to another level. The seats fully recline and are super comfortable, which made the whole experience even better. Everything felt immersive from start to finish. The theater was clean and comfortable, and it definitely made movie night way more fun than a regular showing. Totally worth it if you want a next-level movie experience. read more

I went to AMC Veterans and asked Guest Services to move my seat so I could sit with my party. The employee was already helping when her manager, Jeanne, barged in just to say no. I wasn't asking for a refund or anything complicated--just to move seven seats to an empty one. Jeanne, a blonde and morbidly obese manager, was rude, condescending, and clearly enjoying the tiny bit of power she has. Zero customer service skills, zero common sense. The situation only got resolved because another customer was decent enough to switch seats with me--something Jeanne couldn't be bothered to do. Nice AMC theater location that I do drive a bit out of the way for since this one offers reclining seats. I have been here several times now and I always buy the tickets on their app. I love that you can pick your own seats ahead of time. Definitely take advantage of the discounted tickets on Tuesdays if you can. I recently tried out ordering my movie snacks ahead of time on the app and I don't recommend that at all. Everything was ready ahead of time which sounds nice in theory, but the popcorn was cold. It's better to just get in line and have them get everything ready there on the spot. My friends and I went to go watch a rated R movie, we are all 16/17 but couldn't go in because we weren't old enough. That is completely understandable but we have been before and allowed inside for R rated movies. What truly made this one star was how terribly they treated us. While standing outside trying to figure out what to do they decided to call security on us and told us to leave very rudely. We ended up asking for a refund because we had gotten tickets online and didn't even get a full refund. Kindness and understanding can go a long way. read more

$100 for a movie for the family, not including another $80 in concessions. Only 15 people in the theater which was great with clean seats. Excellent sound and visuals. I had a very disappointing experience at the AMC theater food court. I ordered hot dogs and was told the wait time would be about 10 minutes. After waiting close to 20 minutes, we repeatedly asked if the food was almost ready, especially since I had my family with me on vacation and we were trying to enjoy our time. Eventually, an associate called the manager on duty (I believe his name was Yalham, night shift). The manager came over, said he issued a refund, laughed, and stated he wasn't going to offer anything for the inconvenience. He continued laughing and joking with his associates in front of us. The lack of professionalism was shocking. If this is how management behaves in front of employees, I can only imagine the overall workplace attitude. Mistakes happen, but the way this situation was handled was disrespectful and unprofessional. Management should set a better example and treat customers with basic courtesy and respect. read more

Huge, two story theatre conveniently located in Town & Country with ample parking. Whenever I visit, I'm in the Dolby theatre for optimum surround sound. Compared to the AMC at Woodlands Square in Oldsmar, this Dolby theatre doesn't sound as crisp. Maybe it's older? Love the spacious lobby and the full bar with hard cider on tap. Whenever I can't get the tickets I want at other theatres, I can usually score at Veterans AMC. They offer so many showtimes! read more

This is a good movie theatre conveniently located to home. I usually go during the week after work when it's less crowded, but have also been there on a busy weekend. No big complants. It's comfortable enough. Though a lot of the reclining seats are worn out and should be rereupholstered or replaced. I don't usually eat the processed food there, but have had the popcorn once or twice. It's OK. Unremarkable experience, but I do like watching movies on the big screen every now and then, and this location is convenient and satisfactory for me. read more

I do admit however that the food is not the greatest and prices are very steep for fast food type meals, but it did help to have some things to choose from since we didn't get to eat prior to the movie. The IMAX was pretty good however the seats were really small and did not recline.
