My first review of 2026 is based on my latest experience at the AMC Veterans Theater! My child is finally old enough to take to a theater and not have him get up multiple times during the show. Our experience watching the Zootopia sequel last weekend was one for the books. The theater was packed due to it being the last weekend of winter break but we were not deterred. Plus, the movie we saw had been out since November so there were plenty of seats to choose from. The upgrades that were made to this theater are awesome. The theater has comfy, reclining seats with privacy walls behind each row so that nobody's screen use is visible to your periphery. The theater itself was very clean. After my son dropped our entire bucket of popcorn while waiting for me to use the restroom, I immediately reported it and the attendee informed me that they do restroom checks every 10 minutes. I feel like tickets have gotten a little more expensive despite having a Stubs account, but the mobile app used to secure seats is user-friendly and beats waiting in a long line, so if I have to pay a convenience fee for that, I don't mind much. Concessions are where all theaters cash in, but if you order ahead or pack a bag of M&Ms instead of paying full price at the concessions counter, I don't feel like a medium popcorn and fountain soda will break the bank. As my son gets older and is more interested in movie viewing, I look forward to returning to AMC. read more

The theater is clean and I was able to got my usual popcorn and Icee yummy . I haven't been to this theater in years it has comfy chairs assigned seats at least the theater we chose for the laser view- well see how that goes. Overall good so far. read more

We saw a movie in AMC's Dolby Theatre and it was such a cool experience. The sound was incredible and made you feel like you were actually inside the movie, and the chairs vibrating during certain scenes took it to another level. The seats fully recline and are super comfortable, which made the whole experience even better. Everything felt immersive from start to finish. The theater was clean and comfortable, and it definitely made movie night way more fun than a regular showing. Totally worth it if you want a next-level movie experience. read more

Probably the premiere theatre in town with their many screens and premium IMAX & Dolby theatres, and offering a wide variety of blockbuster, foreign, and indie films. They have recently upgraded all of their projectors, making for the absolute best picture. read more

I went to AMC Veterans and asked Guest Services to move my seat so I could sit with my party. The employee was already helping when her manager, Jeanne, barged in just to say no. I wasn't asking for a refund or anything complicated--just to move seven seats to an empty one. Jeanne, a blonde and morbidly obese manager, was rude, condescending, and clearly enjoying the tiny bit of power she has. Zero customer service skills, zero common sense. The situation only got resolved because another customer was decent enough to switch seats with me--something Jeanne couldn't be bothered to do. Nice AMC theater location that I do drive a bit out of the way for since this one offers reclining seats. I have been here several times now and I always buy the tickets on their app. I love that you can pick your own seats ahead of time. Definitely take advantage of the discounted tickets on Tuesdays if you can. I recently tried out ordering my movie snacks ahead of time on the app and I don't recommend that at all. Everything was ready ahead of time which sounds nice in theory, but the popcorn was cold. It's better to just get in line and have them get everything ready there on the spot. Besides that - the restrooms have always been in good condition each time I have visited and parking is easy with a huge lot! read more

My friends and I went to go watch a rated R movie, we are all 16/17 but couldn't go in because we weren't old enough. That is completely understandable but we have been before and allowed inside for R rated movies. What truly made this one star was how terribly they treated us. While standing outside trying to figure out what to do they decided to call security on us and told us to leave very rudely. We ended up asking for a refund because we had gotten tickets online and didn't even get a full refund. Kindness and understanding can go a long way. read more

I personally loved this movie. Make sure you go in with a not-so-serious attitude and I think you'll like it too. Argylle a mix of Kingsman, Bullet Train, and Mr. Right. It's twisty and fanciful. $100 for a movie for the family, not including another $80 in concessions. Only 15 people in the theater which was great with clean seats. Excellent sound and visuals. That's all great if you don't have one kid screaming the entire time during lilo and stitch. Reported to staff who didn't care. I had a very disappointing experience at the AMC theater food court. I ordered hot dogs and was told the wait time would be about 10 minutes. After waiting close to 20 minutes, we repeatedly asked if the food was almost ready, especially since I had my family with me on vacation and we were trying to enjoy our time. Eventually, an associate called the manager on duty (I believe his name was Yalham, night shift). The manager came over, said he issued a refund, laughed, and stated he wasn't going to offer anything for the inconvenience. He continued laughing and joking with his associates in front of us. The lack of professionalism was shocking. If this is how management behaves in front of employees, I can only imagine the overall workplace attitude. Mistakes happen, but the way this situation was handled was disrespectful and unprofessional. Management should set a better example and treat customers with basic courtesy and respect. read more

Huge, two story theatre conveniently located in Town & Country with ample parking. Whenever I visit, I'm in the Dolby theatre for optimum surround sound. Compared to the AMC at Woodlands Square in Oldsmar, this Dolby theatre doesn't sound as crisp. Maybe it's older? Love the spacious lobby and the full bar with hard cider on tap. Whenever I can't get the tickets I want at other theatres, I can usually score at Veterans AMC. They offer so many showtimes! read more

This is a good movie theatre conveniently located to home. I usually go during the week after work when it's less crowded, but have also been there on a busy weekend. No big complants. It's comfortable enough. Though a lot of the reclining seats are worn out and should be rereupholstered or replaced. I don't usually eat the processed food there, but have had the popcorn once or twice. It's OK. Unremarkable experience, but I do like watching movies on the big screen every now and then, and this location is convenient and satisfactory for me. read more

Updating my review....the theater is cleaner than it has been in the past and concessions from a stock perspective is much better. Can things be better? Always. But now I don't feel so yucky coming here. The theaters are relatively comfortable and they keep the AC cranked so it doesnt get hot and humid. We always have a great time at our local AMC theater in Tampa. I do admit however that the food is not the greatest and prices are very steep for fast food type meals, but it did help to have some things to choose from since we didn't get to eat prior to the movie. The theater we were in was clean and the previews and movie played perfect. Sound was great. We really enjoyed the experience and will always be back for more epic movies at the AMC! read more

Looking to see a flick in Imax so we took a drive over. Nice theater. Really big! Your standard AMC choices for snacks and have the stubs card allows for some nice upgrades. The IMAX was pretty good however the seats were really small and did not recline. Aside from the insane prices for everything, the place is often dirty. The food service area is always disgusting, regardless of amount of people in the theater. Many of the seats are in disrepair and the staff is far from friendly. The excitement of going to the movies can still be found...but not here. read more

Went here today for a midweek date day. This theatre is really big and well laid out. You can always find something to watch and they have those wonderful recliners we have all come to love. This theater has a bar with a decent selection but since I normally come for the matinee it isn't open when I'm here. Im sure they have some space for kids birthdays and such. All in all a great theater that is always clean and fresh. We certainly will be back. read more

They have reopened and limiting audience seating. Masks required unless eating or drinking. Can reserve your seats online and also order your food online. Plexiglass up at the food counter. Sanitizer stations and wipes provided. Have to ask for condiments and butter now. Despite being closed for several months and the fact that they just opened, their Coke machines are still either out of a lot of the beverage options or not working. read more

Went to a Saturday midday showing of Super Mario a couple weekends ago. I haven't been to a theater in YEARS, but it's just so hot out my friend and I wanted to find something to do indoors. Seamless experience, affordable midday price (only like $9 tickets!) and comfortable recliner seats. We didn't purchase any food or drink so can't comment on that. This theater is disrespectful and unbelievably rude! I dropped off my 11, 10, and 12 year old daughters to watch a movie. The first issue with this movie theater is that they did not clearly state that their movie was gonna be in a completely different language. My three children didn't understand the movie at all so therefore they went out to try to find the same movie but in english. They were then kicked out of the theater because they were apparently being disruptive even though they had done nothing wrong but trying to resolve their issue that they had only because of the theater not clearly stating the language of the movie. My children are all minors and were left out onto the streets by themselves at midnight with no ride. The employees especially the security guard and manager were extremely rude to them, not understanding of theit situation and kicked them out onto the streets to be kidnapped. thank God nothing happened to them but if anything did it would be all their fault. just imagine three young girls roaming the streets at midnight with no adult or anyone to come and help them. i am extremely disappointed in this theater if you are ever thinking about going here I would definitely recommend choosing a different theater. This theater is utterly disappointing, and everyone here needs to be taught a real lesson about how they cannot leave young children on the streets by themselves. like what kind of good hearted person could young girls on the streets by themselves. read more

I've been watching movies at this particular theater for years! There's always tons of parking, the customer service is usually pretty decent, and the theaters are typically clean and free of trash. They have a fun rewards membership that offers a discount on Tuesdays and discounts on certain goodies from the concession. Ive never experienced any issues here. They offer reclining seats which my son LOVES and finds so comfortable. I love that they have leveled seating so it feels more private and quiet. read more
