This theather is small. It's in the name. The costs are lower than the big theater chains. Tickets are $7.50 to $8.50, depending on what time in the day you go. That's at the time I'm posting, in fall 2026. The candy is a lot less expensive than it is at a larger theater. So are the sodas and other drinks. The movies are first-run. This place used to be a second-run theater, but now they have fresh movies. They also have small dinners, like pizza or chicken strips. You can get combos. There's even an arcade next door. Grown-ups are welcome there too. It's a fun place to hang out. read more

First time exploring this off the beaten Cinema. It's a little old, not the IMAX Screen, but you get what you pay for and actually you get comfy recliners. We enjoyed our movie, popcorn, candy, and drink. It's a little worn, could use some more TLC, but we enjoyed the value of the theater and the attached arcade was definitely worth the extra side trip and money. Forget Chuckee Cheese, this arcade has better games that actually allow you to win. The food was cheaper and tasted better. Would not recommend -- safety concerns, not just cleanliness. I don't leave bad reviews often, but this needs to be said. This theater is falling apart -- worn seating, dirty restrooms, sticky floors, screen quality, and general upkeep that looks like it hasn't been touched in years. That alone would just be a "needs improvement" note. What actually alarmed me happened after the movie. My significant other (female) went to use the women's restroom and walked in on two male employees inside -- no "cleaning in progress" sign posted anywhere, and the door was not propped open to indicate it was out of service. There was zero warning. She was completely startled walking in on two men in a women's restroom with no notice given. This is a basic safety and professionalism standard -- if a restroom is being cleaned or serviced by opposite-sex staff, there needs to be a sign posted and the door propped open. Not doing this is a serious oversight, especially somewhere with heavy foot traffic and often unaccompanied guests. I brought this up with the manager, "Jason," to make sure it was addressed. Based on what I observed, it seems like the staff is almost entirely young employees with little to no adult supervision on site. That may explain the state of the building, but it doesn't excuse a lapse like this -- proper protocols should be non-negotiable regardless of staff age. I'd think twice before going back until there's clear evidence of better management oversight, basic cleaning protocols, and stronger accountability on site. read more

We have been to this movie theater about 5 times in total over the years and we are upset every time we have been. This will be the last time here. The woman told me she would drop of the pop corn with my food order she brought the food but no lg popcorn. I asked where it was she said sorry we are no longer making pop corn who the hell wants to watch a movie without pop corn. This is a locally owned theater that is well run and had no technical problems with the film we saw on Friday, 5/3/22. We sat in one of the two theaters that has not been refitted with the comfortable, plush recliners we saw in 4 of the six theaters. The bathrooms and lobby are somewhat rundown, but they are clean and operational. They have specials, advertised on the outside windows. The concession staff and ticket cashier are pleasant and friendly. The prices are good, too - prices for children or adults or senior citizens. If you want a nice place to see a film, without paying a lot of money, and you live nearby, definitely try this cinema! read more

The bathroom sink is loose and the lights were blinking on and off in the hallway. It could definitely use some work. Also it was very rude of the girl at the concession to search me and my mom's bags. This has never been done in my life and some teenagers left the theater due to this intrusion. We should have done the same, but we won't be back. Also on Tuesday it used to be $5 to see a movie, now it's $7.50, just not worth it. Love this gem. Prices are amazing, people are smiley. The whole theater feels like hanging out at a buddy's house who made a theater in their big room. Unassuming and modest, with comfy recliners in most of the theaters (1 or 2 with older style theater seats... still comfy but not as nice). Tucked in the corner of a half empty strip mall, Cinema 6 is a small, family owned, theater. It doesn't look like much, but this is the perfect spot to catch a cheap movie. Great prices, good snacks, and friendly staff. Took my boys to a 6pm showing of Sonic 2 and had a great time. The theater room was clean and all of the reclining sofa seats worked and were comfy. The theater room was nice and cool (bring a hoody if you get cold easily). Sound quality was great and the picture was clear. We also got the kid packs which come with a serving of popcorn, candy, and drink. (Popcorn was fresh!!) read more

We tried this theater for the first time last night. Overall we genuinely enjoyed the experience. Pros: Everything was reasonably priced. Popcorn was tasty. Screen had a quality picture. Seats were very comfortable. Everyone was very friendly. Cons: Seats are a bit worn. Sound was not great, but I am probably unfairly comparing it to a Dolby Digital theater. We will definitely be coming back, and are looking forward to trying some of the other food options. read more

Following a pandemic that saw all of us trying to create a movie theater experience at home, it was nice to return to the movies. This is a privately owned theater and reflects that with the decor and outdated seating in some of the auditoriums. However, if that is the reason you write a 1-star review, you probably should stick to your TV or projector at home. The folks here are polite and inviting. The movies are all there. Great place to take your family. I recommend it to everyone, even if that means you will be crowding my favorite spot now. Side note: Little known fact that movie theaters typically make peanuts on the ticket due to having to pay for the movie itself. The majority of revenue earned is through concessions and other sales. Don't complain about the price of your drink and candy. Shell out the funds and be appreciative of the experience of being able to watch a flick on the big screen. Especially those theaters that aren't owned by giant corporations. Support your local, privately owned businesses. read more

This is a "you get what you pay for" situation. On the plus side, it's absurdly inexpensive and the service was exceedingly polite. We came on a Friday night and the place seemed staffed entirely by teenagers but it looked like they had a handle on things. The small soda and popcorn is a good deal (the small soda would be a medium anywhere else) but the popcorn was way over-salted to the point of inedibility. There was a decent movie selection, in fact it was the only theater around that had something my whole family could agree on. The Cons: Bathrooms had multiple stalls and sinks out of order. Theater smelled damp and musty,the floor was sticky.When asked how the movie was my teenage cousin said "Mom,that place was so sketchy". A serious deep clean and coat of paint would go a long way to improving the experience. To Barbara S. " Regarding the picture someone posted "Tables between the seats?" Was charged $8.50 and had to go ask for my fries. I am positive it is illegal to not post prices and charge more. If I go here again, I will not be buying any food. Love to support local family owned businesses. I used to go to this theater back in the early 90's when there was no Hollywood 18. Soon after it went under and became a dollar theater. I think it was actually $1 to see a movie. Problem was, the place had not done anything to freshen it up at all. It was terrible. I never went to "cinema grill" when it was open. My wife had come to Cinema 6 with my daughter a few weeks back and said it was nice "mom & popish". The price was nice for her and my daughter. Movie, popcorn and drinks for under $25" I went today with the family... Star Wars!!! The theater looked a lot nicer than when it was a dollar theater. I could tell time had been taken to make the theater more enjoyable. A few missing ceiling tiles, seating from the cinema grill, but for such a value, who cares. Want to see a movie on a budget? The food was actually pretty good for a theater. We had two pizzas that were freshly made (I know because we had to wait for them to cook) and cheese fries that made me go back for more after I taxed, er, sampled, the kids'. They no longer serve beer....something about the new owners. The theater is marginal. Sound is poor, screen is adequate, and you can't sit next to your honey because of the tables. Overall, a fun place to take the kids and the prices are very reasonable ($3 to get in, normal prices for food). read more

Purchased tickets on their app for Easter Sunday. Drove to the facility and found a note on the door that they were closed on Easter Sunday. Had to drive back a second time because you cannot call the place to talk to anyone all you get is a recording. Spoke to the manager when I got there who was unable to do anything and had to advise manager to call owner of the company. It was only then that money was refunded back. Because they had erased the tickets from their system. Was told by owner about an email which she sent however, I could never find anything in spam and or email inbox. I heard the theater is being renovated so I'll say this complex is in transition. $22.75 got us two tickets to Zootopia, a medium popcorn, large drink, and a kids pack (popcorn, candy bay, & small soda) with free refills! That was a good start as I just paid the same price just for 2 tickets to see a movie in IMAX 3D. The value was taken advantage by a kids summer camp group of 30+ kids who were amazingly quiet during the showing! All things considered, it is a great value. I highly recommend it especially if you missed a film like Gigi and I did with Zootopia. This is a family owned business and I always support our locals! I love how they have tables for you to relax and eat in comfort. Also they have updated some of the theatres with the most comfortable chairs on the planet. I had to struggle to stay awake. Plus ample room to walk and sit. The concession stand had reasonable prices so we were able to purchase soda and snacks. Was there on 6-16-18 with my wife, 3 y/o daughter, 8 y/o son. The cinema 6 sold us tickets to incredibles #2 @640pm with only 4 seats left (no they didn't warn us). The seats were all spread out (again no warning), I also bought popcorn, sodas, and candy. We immediately went back up front for refund and they offer the idea of all of us to sit separately!!! REALLY??? They did give me a refund on the tickets but I had to swallow the cost of food and drink. SMH. Nope and never again. read more

Not sure who wrote the reviews but this theater is nasty. The prices aren't "great"! $8 a ticket for matinee? The place is dirty. It's not "renovated" at all like they claim on their website. Still sports the Cinema Grill seating from the 80's (complete with tables between seats) so groups of 3 or more are stuck with front rows.. Our particular theater had a garbage bag covering one of the seats (classy!). If Paying $8 per ticket (@ 3:30pm no less!) for crappy theater, uncomfortable seats and a creepy vibe is your thing, then this is the place for you! Otherwise go north a little or south a bit for a decent theater. It gets 2 stars only because the staff were friendly. If this was "renovated" in 2009 then I can't imagine just what was done. I love coming to Cinema 6. It is a family ran theater, and truly a community gem. I love going to the movies, and I especially love real butter on my popcorn. As well as all the other snack options they offer. The next great thing is that this is a family run business, they are very personal and passionate. Unlike large theaters their bathrooms are also always clean and tidy. The team warmly greets guests, and takes care of you like family. This is a great little theater! Ticket prices and food are less expensive than bigger theaters, AND they have great reclining seats! I also like the fact that seats are reserved. So, I don't have to worry that my family won't be able to find seating together. I stopped by early to purchase tickets, and the cashier presented a seating chart right away for me to choose from; unavailable seats were already marked. This is also shown on fandango (the seating chart). This is a small gem that I'm glad that I found in our area. Picture quality was also just fine, in my opinion, and friendly staff. Back when the place first opened up, it was essentially God's gift to cinema. If you didn't mind waiting a month after a movie's release, you could go there and, for $20, you could have popcorn, drinks and movie tickets for two people. Naturally, that was insanity considering that you couldn't get into the nearby Hollywood 18 for two people under twenty bucks unless you were both elderly, veterans, students or a combination of the three. Anyway, I used to love the place. Whenever I wanted to take my girlfriend to the movies, we'd agree to wait 'til Cinema 6 was running it and go then. Best of all, if you ordered something more elaborate than popcorn and drinks, they brought it to your seat so you could indulge while watching the movie. It's, honestly, a program all movie theaters should be implementing in their establishments, but I digress. Spectacular for those of us with low budget. That was before Tropical Storm Debbie happened. Because Cinema 6 is on some crappy real estate, when the tropical storm dumped buckets on us the whole place flooded. If you're on Facebook, they have photos of the aftermath on their page. Needless to say, it shut them down for a long, long time. I believe there was some kind of insurance battle that they eventually won, and they finally got around to fixing the place up. Unfortunately, they must not have gotten the full amount, or they hired some bad people to fix the place up that ripped them off, because I went a few weeks after their grand opening and the theaters were still musty and smelled of mold. If not for the fact that I had just paid money for tickets and pizza, I'd have likely gotten up and walked out. I was genuinely worried about being exposed to black mold. It was probably just paranoia, but when I'm in musty places that still smell moldy, that tends to be where my mind first wanders. After that fun little event, I stopped going back. I pretty much exclusively go to Hollywood 18 now. If I miss a movie and it goes to Cinema 6, I just wait for the DVD or Bluray. It's a real shame, though. Having said that, the place seems to have enjoyed a resurgence in popularity. I'm not sure if they fixed up the mustiness/moldy smell or not, or if my theater just happened to be the worst of the group, but their Facebook account is active with events and they seem to be active as a business. I've considered going back, but you can understand my hesitation to do so. As of recently, the business has since run into a hurdle that more and more movies are upgrading to a digital medium, and traditional film is being phased out. Because they're not the big name movie theaters, they've run into a problem in that they're having trouble upgrading their stuff. They have several fund raising events going on, including, if I remember correctly, a Kickstarter-like thing. Chances are, they won't likely raise the needed 50K to upgrade, so the place is probably going to be phased out. Which is bad news, 'cause no competition means that prices over at the Hollywood 18 are going to rapidly inflate. read more
