Sleepy little complex with a pretty clean lobby and theater rooms. This place is definitely a little run down, and the outside is lacking any landscaping or personalized nuance that might add some curb apeal. However, we were able to enjoy a movie here with little/no interruption from the other audience members, which was VERY nice. The popcorn was fresh and hot, and the staff was fairly friendly. The place was really clean. Very quiet since we came to a 4:30 movie. The young boy that took our order was extremely polite and sweet. We were talking a bit while I was waiting on my husband. The theatre is older but we enjoyed ourselves. read more

Great movie theater, maybe the best one in the area. Would strongly recommend you try the dolby experience with the reclining seats, especially for a major film with top notch special fx. Wish prices (tickets & concession) weren't so high, but that can be said for most theaters in the country. The seats are comfortable, once your tried them, it'll be hard to go back to the regular seats that we are all used to. I do wish these would provide more leg support as well as recline a bit more. All in all, AMC has yet to disappoint. It offers a great movie experience. The staff here is helpful and does a nice job at maintaining the cinema is good condition. read more

This is a place to go where the seats aren't as good and there are plenty of them, but the price is less. If you are trying to save a money on movie watching then this is a good place to do so. Always plenty of parking. It's in a safe location and it's easy to find. I go here from time to time. read more

Gross. I just moved here from TN & I guess I'm a tad spoiled. Or just used to a clean theatre. There was hair all over my seat & in my cup holder. It says "classic" so I assumed it wouldn't have the reclining chairs. What I definitely wasn't expecting (as I was eating my cheese-less pepperoni pizza ) was a "guest". Yes I had a cockroach crawl right up to my foot. Not to seem too dramatic but yes I lost my appetite. I understand it may be an older establishment but at least keep it up . No thanks. read more

The cost of the movie is relatively good. The concession stand is a expensive. I someone mentioned reclining seats.. I never saw that. The theater had cloth seats that did not recline.. The dude that cleaned the theater spent 15 minutes cleaning and never removed the random bag of popcorn off the floor in the middle of one of the rows.. Like for real? Here's a little gem of a Movie Theater, nestled in the heart of Palm Harbor. It's half way between home and the new Cobb at the Mall, so since we wanted to catch Iron Man Three, the Husbeast and I decided to check it out. After all, they just renovated! WOW! Talk about a change! The last time I was here, it was dark and dank, with old seats that were pretty gross and stained. NOW they've got Dbox and state of the art sound. And in the big theatre they've even got stadium seating. While we got there first thing for the first showing on Sunday, we weren't able to get the d-box seats for the show, we now know to get them on line. What we thought was neat, was that they assign seats! I've not seen another theater do this for regular seating. I LIKED that. Prices were still a bit high, $8 for matinee + $3 for 3D + $8 for Dbox. So you could be looking at a very PRICEY afternoon ticket, but this is typical for every movie theater across the city. The only draw back I saw was that the arms don't lift up between the seats. That would make all the differences in the world. read more

Recently renovated. Very clean. Very comfortable. It is never busy or crowded which is what I love about this place! Typical prices for popcorn/drinks/movies. Large parking lot. A few bars near by for after the movie, and lots of restaurants around for pre movie dinner/lunch. read more

Smaller viewing rooms than most this location has the best prices of all AMCs. Their concessions are more than adequate for your movie munchies. The 3D and Dolby rooms are excellent! Considering this was a MOVICO theater, I hope to see seat upgrades and better management as I've experienced a couple of movie stoppages. Still My G-daughter, Gigi , and I are enjoying our visits! Parked in the private parking lot and entered. Immediately greeted at the ticket window. Entered the place and there is the 'ahhhhhhhhhh' of the food counter. Prices were actually decent. $2 small popcorn, $4 medium and $6 large. Or buy the huge bucket for $24 and refill it for $5ish anytime you return. Deal! All in all pleased with their prices. However, I am guessing that will CHANGE once Cinemark puts their name on it. I hope not. It discourages us from enjoying the food and drinks. These prices would allow us to partake and not feel guilty. In our theater was us and one other person. No, there are not recliners (they are on their way) but it was clean and 'old school.' Sound was good. I believe they sell alcohol here, we saw a sign by the concession stand. Not sure as to the prices. Definitely returning. This was a great experience and restored my faith in humanity. The last two movies we have been to have been PACKED. We miss our days in the midwest of being two of the few in the theater. read more

Went to this theater as it was the only theater showing the movie we wanted to see at a decent time which was 25 minutes away. The theater is really in the middle of nowhere and comes up rather quickly. The theater is very clean and well maintained. The seats are very comfy and made a almost 3 hour movie enjoyable. The sound and quality of the screens are great. What I liked most was that the amount of younger kids was very minimal here and you can enjoy a date night without kids screaming and yelling. The concession prices were normal but the popcorn was really good. Will definitely make the drive again to this theater read more

This movie theater is off the beaten path... but when you wanna see a movie on opening night and wanna dodge all the middle and high school kids that take over the more popular movie theaters, come to this one! It's not usually that crowded so I can comfortably kick my feet up on the chair in front of me (but don't tell anyone I do that). There are only 10 theaters, so make sure you check movie times to find out if the movie you want to see is even playing. read more

If you go on www.dealflicks.com, you can pre-pay your ticket and get a movie ticket with medium popcorn for $7.00!!! And their popcorn is always fresh and beats the other local theaters hands-down. Sure, a few of their theaters are smaller, but they do have some larger theaters in the complex. And the chairs are way more comfortable than other local theaters, as my feet can actually touch the ground. read more

I have been to most all of the Muvico theaters in the area. This was a really nice one. The seats were not as comfy as the one in Ybor City but then again they do sell beer and wine here and the one in Ybor City has a full bar. The seats here were more room that Regal Hollywood 18 in Port RIchey. I think the seats in Muvico in Wesley Chapel are nicer and I like the stadium style. All that being said, this is a clean multiplex with a deputy on guard on a Monday night...That was impressive!! Seats were comfortable and plenty of Wheelchair seating. We locals all feared the worst when Muvico was bought by AMC, but so far, so good. Other than inconvenient ticket purchasing at the food counter, I love that a group of friends can walk in, get tickets and find seats together without the nuisance of dealing with more technology. Like most forms of recreation in this country, movie theaters are becoming so expensive that a good portion of our population cannot even enjoy them. Man they have tiny little theaters, feels like you are sitting in the first row! Price of movie was only $7.00? I thought that was a deal. Saving money with no cashier out front, you pay at the concession stand. I can't believe I paid $5.50 for a coke, that will teach me to eat before I go to the movies! I have been coming to this theater for almost 8 years. This is the 3rd time it has changed hands since I have lived here. Muvico/Carmike did a great job renovating the place and making it a great place to go. Recently it has been purchased by AMC. I went to see John Wick 2 the other week and was gravely disappointed in what I saw. The place was disgusting, the floors/counters were not clean. Limited concessions, paper signs on the doors to the movies. It reminded me of the place the theater used to be before the renovations, a cheap movie place that you did not really want to be in. I am hoping that this will turn around over the next couple of months, and hoping this is just a lack of initial management. But, if the conditions do not improve I will have to find a new theater. Sad. I have been back twice since my first review of the AMC owned theater. Likes: The overall cleanliness seems to have improved and they have people cleaning the theaters after the shows. So I put down the initial dirtiness to the change in management. The only real "dirty" area I see is with the fountain drink area. It uses those new pick your own drink flavor type machines. The counters are always covered in pop and wrappers. But overall, the main counters, bathrooms and theaters have much improved. The concessions seem to have improved, I believe they have other items than popcorn and candy now, although I have not ordered any of it yet. So looks like the original disarray may have been from management turnover as I suspected. $7.75 ticket price for adults is nice. They also honor the annual refill bucket that people purchased when it was muvico. Dislikes: While not a major issue, seems kinda tacky, they still use paper signs on the walls to label the theater showings. Muvico gave you a plastic card to track points to get free drinks, tickets, etc. AMC has a Stubs program, you do not get card, you have to tell everyone your phone number every time (before) you buy tickets or concessions or you cannot get those points. Seems a little cheap not to give out the cards to me and more of a hassle. read more

Just yesterday I went here to watch the new avengers and let me tell you they have the worst service ever the bathrooms where shitty no toilet paper it just wasn't clean the seats are uncomfortable people in the movie theaters where being very rude they did not stop talking I know this has nothing to do with the movie theaters just tells you what type of people lives in that area it was ghetto tbh. Went to see Jurassic World and missed some of the movie because the temperature in the movie theater was so unbearable I had to go to the restroom to get some cooler air while walking through the lobby. The Theater was a bit grody. The seats were old, but man the Popcorn was good! Good popcorn automatically gets 4 stars from me. They have a special of only $4 for a large on a Tuesday. Great place to go for a low key movie evening away from teh ridiculous crowds at AMC Woodlands. Its smaller, but still has good seating and movie selections. Much more family oriented and staff is mostly a bunch of HS Students. It is clean and well kept. A little bit far north in Pinellas (almost reaching New Port Nowhere) but definitely worth the drive if you don't want to hang w/ the teeny bopper crowd. read more

Usually I like the place, but tonight I dropped my daughter and her friends off there and they were promptly ripped off by an employee. I had given each teen a Movie Rewards certificate valid on any (any was in Italics) movie up to $15. Tickets were $10.89. The employee forced my child to pay a 3D surcharge in cash for everyone in the group. I use these rewards all the time. 3D movies are covered; the employee just took the opportunity to pocket some cash because they were kids. read more
