It's a 104 degrees and my air conditioner stopped working. I was not able to get ahold of the company initially through the phone due to technical issues. I received a text asking if I needed any help. That's when I knew we were off to a great start. I was impressed by the reviews. But I was overwhelmed with how efficiently and quickly Derek was able to address and solve my problem. When the outdoor temperature would exceed 100 my outdoor unit fan would stop spinning and would pump in warm air. Derek arrived at my residence within 45 minutes of me making my same day appointment. He solved the problem within an hour and stayed to ensure the problem did not arise. Derek is very knowledgeable. Not only was he able to diagnose and fix the problem with minutes, Derek was able to explain it to me in a way that even I could understand the problem. The total repair cost me around $200. Fan on outdoor AC condensor Unit went dead in July. Called couple of companies and Ameduri could come out right away. Was quoted a low ball figure for diagnostic house call over phone. I had done some research and knew all that was needed was a 5uF capacitator. Could have changed myself with UTube, but looked bit dangerous. When repairman here, he had to go out "to truck to figure out final price" and came back with a figure of $245. When I asked him why so much, he gave some bull story about "competitive rates with local companies." The repair literally took 10 mins to install the new $25 capacitator, so overall was charged $225 for 10 mins labor. STEAR CLEAR of this company; if they rip off this much for a minor repair, I can imagine how you would pay for a major repair or a new install............. read more

The day the work was to begin he showed up EXACTLY at the appointed time, did the work competently, cheerfully, cleanly..his recommendations were spot on , never trying to sell me something and even gave me a break on a new thermostat installation. I was so pleased with his work, that I hired him again to do a complete ductwork job on another property. Once again, he was competent, respectful, cordial, clean and the price was VERY competitive. Just after SCE had shut off my AC for 5 days straight, my AC unit stopped functioning in this 105+ degrees weather. When I called Ameduri Heating & Air Conditioning yesterday, and spoke with Ilana, I was pleasantly surprised to hear that she remembered me from a small job they did for me about a year ago. Ilana is pleasant, professional, organized, interested in hearing the details, and sharp as a tack! Since this has to be the busiest week of the year for AC companies in the area, I was sure it would be days until they could fit me in, but again I was pleasantly surprised when Ilana said Derek could be out today (and I called them in the afternoon!). Highly recommended! My wife's parents thermostat decided to give up the ghost. I needed simple so I purchased a Honeywell PRO model. Upon installation, I realized it needed constant power so I made a late PM call to Ameduri. Derrick arrived early the next day and after assessing the problem for about 5 minutes had a solution. He installed parts (at no additional charge) and programmed the thermostat. In less than an hour at the cost of the original service charge, he had the system working like a charm. UNBELIEVABLE SERVICE from Ameduri Heating and Air Conditioning. My heating unit had been working on and off for the past month. It blew cold air periodically and had been happening more frequently. Last week it stopped working completely and only blew cold air. I am always skeptical of new service people, so I asked a relative for a reference. He recommended Ameduri Heating and Air in Glendora after a great experience with them. I gave them a call and scheduled an appointment for the same day. Derek arrived on time and quickly diagnosed the problem to a faulty heating element. He had the replacement part in his truck and quickly replaced the part. I also had him look at the condition of my duct work in the attic because I was not getting much airflow in some rooms. Apparently, some of the ducts became disconnected. Derek quickly repaired those as well. My heating unit now works like new with no issues and airflow is balanced throughout the house.
