They have a contract with a low-income senior apartment in Downtown LA for weekly treatment and other services. Building requested bed bug inspection and treatment service for a specific floor after residents reported bed bug bites for a week, and they showed up 45 minutes late to the 4 hour window they provided with no communication. The technical who showed up was friendly, but his inspection was not thorough. He only checked the exterior of mattress and spring box, peaked inside one section inside of the mattress. He also only checked one section inside the couch. Did not check walls, outlets, and other crevices. He also did not have a flashlight for proper lighting like a flashlight when checking. He also ended up dropping the mattress on top of other things in the apartment and slammed the box spring onto the floor. He bolted out from the apartment and the floor without proper communication on next steps or the process. He did however treat the room with normal pesticide after speaking with the building management, but not a proper bed bug treatment as requested as he reported there were no bed bugs, despite the residents on the floor still suffering from bites. I think it's also important to note that the bed bugs started after one of the routine maintenance going room to room for pesticide treatment. I suspect that the technician who was treating was already contaminated and spread it to the building when he visited every room, there's no other possible scenario where someone visited every single unit affected. With poor communication, tardiness, lack of professionalism and care for furnitures, and thoroughness of the inspection, I would not recommend their service to anyone. read more

Had one of their techs, Lonny or whatever his name was, be completely disrespectful to my family over the phone. We were scheduled for fumigation on 1/14/26. The day before, we emptied every cabinet, covered all food, and vacated the apartment at 8:30 AM like they asked. They gave us a 9 AM-4 PM window. By 3:30 PM, no one had shown up or called, so my family reached out for an update. The first rep immediately transferred them to the assigned tech. Lonny answers with, "Uh, hello?" My cousin asks for an ETA, and he snaps back, "What? I don't know, I'm not even there yet. I'll get there when I get there," then hangs up. As soon as I heard that, I called my leasing office and the company, cancelled the service, and made it clear that if Lonny showed up after talking to my family like that, he will be dealt with. This kind of careless, unprofessional behavior is exactly how companies ruin their own reputation. Pathetic behavior. Maybe remind your technicians that customer service matters, people's time matters, and they're not above basic respect. Nobody is Superman. Playing stupid games like that will get ugly. read more

Within minutes of arriving, they were suited up and strategizing like they were planning a military invasion. I think I even saw one of them use hand signals as they cornered a rogue ant. When they said they'd eliminate everything, I didn't realize just how thorough they'd be. Ants? Gone. Spiders? Obliterated. I swear I heard a tiny scream as the wasp nest met its swift demise. At one point, I could swear they were negotiating with a cockroach gang huddled in a dark corner of my garage. No compromises, though--those roaches were no match for this A-Team. My house has never been so peaceful. Honestly, I'm starting to wonder if they took out a few imaginary bugs, too, just to make sure nothing ever returns. I haven't seen a single insect, but I'm also slightly afraid they might have installed some bug-detection laser system just to be sure. The so-called owner George refused to acknowledge and speak to how his technician left the unit after chemical treatment. He preferred to argue that he was correct rather than be an upstanding business owner and acknowledge the evidence of his employees lack of concern for his work. I'd give zero stars if I could. Have had 3 fumigations for my apartment regarding bed bugs. The second one should've been the final one until I noticed the bugs return. Absolutely unacceptable and disgusting. The lady who I spoke to said that I brought them back, too and said they're super rare in terms of coming back. At that point I held my tongue and arranged for a third fumigation. After the third, I didn't go back to the apartment for 3 days. Upon returning, I go to my room and there are LIVE bed bugs on my disassembled mattress cover that was left th. Nobody had been in my room since the fumigation. This is disgusting. This has to be one of the most unreliable pest control companies I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with my roommate and I have been having a bedbug problem in our apartment and our property management company uses Amen for pest control the first time they came to treat our apartment for bedbugs almost a month ago that consisted of two treatments each a week apart we thought that we were in the clear for a little while until a few weeks later we found more bedbugs we had Amen come out a third time to treat our apartment after spending a few days out of the apartment to our disgust my roommate found some live bed bugs on his mattress cover. This is absolutely unacceptable, from the research that I've done the treatment should fully work within 30 days it has now been about 30 days since we received both of the treatments and only a few days after they gave us a treatment for the third time clearly whatever Amen does does not work we cannot continue to live like this and unfortunately may have to directly deal with our building manager about this problem. read more

Ants so bad you wanted to burn your house down? That was us this past week! We keep a pretty clean home. Never had pest issues. Well this heat wave brought ants to our block and it was INSANE! I called so many places and got many quotes, overall we choose Amen. For a few reasons. 1. They were sooo fast at responding! 2. They guaranteed their work 3. We had gotten referred by someone who could back up their work. And 4. They were so nice over the phone and came that day! Eugene was our pest control specialist! When I say he is top notch, he went above and beyond! Eugene showed up on time. Wore his mask! Spoke to everyone in our home with respect, he respected our home as he walked through and inspected. He showed us what to look for in the future, and stated where he found the ants to probably have their nest. He sprayed the house inside and out. Gave us clear after spraying instructions. Confirmed to update him even if we didn't see ants. He wanted to know that too! Within a day they were gone . There were two active spots. Unfortunately in one of the cabinet's was a nest that we didn't notice. So a few days went by and Eugene came right back and knocked it out! Within an hour they were dead and none were back since! Pest control can be tricky. It's not always a one and done situation. The company's we did contact before amen stated there was a charge after one week. Amen said 30 days! And they actually want you to confirm no issues. They care about your home and treat you like family. I felt safe and Eugene reassuring me that they will always handle our pest control needs! She is older, so some of them try to take advantage of her by saying they did the work when they didn't even spray. Well I got so fed up I did some research and found Amen Pest Control and off the bat, their customer service was amazing. Now I am in Texas, but I wanted to confirm everything for my aunt since I was the one that was paying. They confirmed the appointment, along with confirming my aunt's address, and then clarified the services that we wanted. (GET RID OF ALL THE BUGS)! After the services, they took a few pictures to send to me and then asked if they could follow up with my aunt in a couple weeks since the pests would come back with the former appointments. No bugs!
