Don't underestimate this little place! They have an impressive menu and their sushi is very good. I'm amazed at the variety of stuff they make - pretty much a full Chinese and Japanese menu (though I'm no expert here.) Favorite Chinese food place EVER (at least since Double Dragon lost it's original owners almost a decade ago...)! I usually don't even get Chinese food when I come here though... this place has a decent menu of Chinese, Thai, AND Japanese items, as well as *decent* sushi (meaning if you're craving some sashimi and you don't wanna change out of your yoga pants or drive more than 10 mins to get some). I'm a big fan of their drunken noodles with beef and shrimp pad thai. Their garden rolls are also very fresh. Everyone who works there is super friendly and efficient. The food comes fast, and if you pick up there's a table with sauces and silverware/chopsticks to help yourself to. Nice to have a decent selection of Asian food close to home. read more

This is our favorite casual Asian restaurant. They have huge portions for very reasonable prices, and I've honestly never had a miss here in years of patronage. I love the wide variety of fresh veggies in the meals, a little above and beyond the typical take-out fare. I've always enjoyed the panang curry, the szechuan rice bowl, the thai noodle soup, and the pad thai. Horrible and very disappointed! Was hopeful because of reviews but it was not edible! Took over hour to deliver, once here...it was soggy, mushy, and WAY too spicy! Gen Tso's is supposed to have some heat but it was over kill....the fried rice wasnt even fried! The orange chicken n gen tso tasted exactly the same! Hands down the Best Chinese/Thai restaurant in the area. For chinese food, it is a close call between AA and China Haste, but AA gets the cake (When I say chinese food, I mean american style chinese not hardcore chinese, where Hunan Taste next to H-Mart still reigns supreme). I had Schezuan chicken and it was just right in spiceness (meaning it was hot as hell, just like Schezuan food is supposed to be), very flavor and the portion would feed a 800lb gorilla. My wife had drunken noodles with chicken. Again, very well seasoned, very tasty and a good portion. The Tom Ka soup really takes the cake here. It is unbelievably good here and if it's your 1st time here, you gotta have it. We asked ours with shrimp, and boy did it come with shrimp. These guys are not skimpy. The single 1-star review here talks about the atmosphere and cleanliness of the place. Are you serious? As far as chinese places go, this place was top notch clean, tables were shiny and everyone was nice. It's not Cheesecake Factory- or Chart House-nice but definitely above average and we paid less than $20 for the whole thing. A no-brainer, definitely recommended 5/5. read more

Good food and lots of it. The sushi is middle of the road. If I'm getting Sushi from there, I will dine in so that it's fresh. The Miami roll is mighty tasty. The appetizers are pretty standard for an asian place. As far as the hot dishes, I've had the soups, fried rice and noodle dishes, and numerous entrees and combos. I recently ordered from American Asian for the first time because it was in close proximity to UMBC and I had a craving for Lo mein. I ordered Wonton soup and Pork Lo Mein. In total it took about 10 minutes to be ready for pick up and cost $10. The wonton soup was not as satisfying as I wanted. The broth had very little flavor as well as the noodles, I would not get it again. I did really like the crunchy noodles that came with the wonton soup. The lo mein however hit the spot. It was very flavorful and not too oily. The pork strips were cooked perfectly and it was a nice balance between the noodles and vegetables. It was satisfying enough for me to go back for lunch another day and try more. read more

The primary reasons that I gave this restaurant two stars are that the prices are reasonable and the portions are generous. The food was hot and wasn't terrible, but I'll never eat here again. The two Thai dishes I had were bland and made with cheap ingredients. You get what you pay for. read more

They have a huge and decently priced menu with a good amount of veggie options! The General Tso's Tofu combo was great. Service here is always wonderful whether dining in or calling for delivery. Pleasant to talk to on the phone and the delivery time was within 30 min for our big order. This is and has been my go-to place for Chinese food & Thai. Most places that try to do both (and sushi) fail hard but just about everything from this place is yummy. My favorite item is the chicken lettuce wraps and the Thai basil chicken. My kids love the sesame chicken and gobble it all up. I've had the drunken noodles and the Mongolian beef. Both were enjoyable. Having said that, the sushi is just meh. I don't go there for the sushi so I can't really complain too much. Sometimes when dining in, there's this one waitress who isn't great and is always kinda grouchy. But I will continue to eat here just bc I love it and it's so close. read more

I order from here once every other week. I really do enjoy pretty much everything I have ordered from there. They usually say 45 minutes on the phone, but have never taken longer than 25 minutes. I would say we have a 95% success rate. Every once in a while, the spicy food will be overly spicy and things are overly saused. Other than that, I suggest them for sure. read more

This is a real find for vegetarians. You can get pretty much anything with tofu. The whole menu, including Chinese, Thai, and Japanese, dishes is open to your protein choice: beef, pork, chicken, shrimp, and TOFU. I will say some of the dishes are hit or miss... Panang curry with tofu = yum! lemongrass tofu = meh. Thai Basil tofu = pretty decent. I also enjoy a little Kung Pao and Garlic Sauce now and again.
