I gave the dealership multiple opportunities to repair the vehicle, but the problems continued and the vehicle has now become unsafe to operate. I obtained independent inspections documenting the condition of the vehicle and attempted to resolve the matter directly through formal written communication, including a certified demand letter that was delivered and signed for. Unfortunately, I have not received a meaningful resolution. I would strongly encourage anyone purchasing a used vehicle to have it independently inspected before buying.

Kal took his time helping me first over chat and then we finally connected over the phone. The price he quoted me was the exact price I paid. He had the guys detail the car then spent over an hour with me helping me get connect to and learn about the Sync 4 system and all the details of the car. My daughter in law bought a new Explorer the same day back home.(Kal even checked for any finance specials they may be able to use while I was on the phone with my son) The dealer she bought from sent her out of there with her phone connect via bluetooth and no knowledge of Sync 4. Though I'm by far not a tech guy, I used what Kal showed me earlier that day, and helped her get connected through Apple CarPlay and got her Explorer linked up with the Ford appon her phone and showed her a few features. The next time anyone in my family or I get a new vehicle we will drive the 93 miles and buy it from Kal.

Within one month (January 26, 2026), the check engine light came on. Diagnosis: codes P0137 and P0500 -- O2 sensor replaced. On March 2, the check engine light returned with code P0500. At that time, the spark plugs were found to be fouled and black. Repairs included replacing the plugs, cleaning the fuel injection and throttle body, performing relearns, and adding fuel cleaner. By March 17 -- just 2.5 months after purchase and only ~1,300 miles driven -- the check engine light came on for a third time. I took the vehicle to a GMC dealership, where they diagnosed fouled spark plugs and an issue with cylinder 4. I was then informed the vehicle is experiencing engine failure and requires a complete engine replacement. For a low-mileage 2022 vehicle, this type of engine failure is unacceptable. I returned to the dealership after the second repair to request an exchange or refund and was dismissed. I was told "check engine lights come on all the time" and advised to continue driving the vehicle. After emailing to request a meeting with the owner, I received a phone call but was given the same response. I was told I had not taken the vehicle to the "correct" mechanic -- despite using a repair facility listed on their own website as approved for the extended warranty I purchased. Based on my experience, I strongly recommend getting an independent pre-purchase inspection and carefully reviewing the vehicle history before purchasing. I would not recommend The Nice Car Company due to this experience with engine failure and poor customer service.
