They do not guarantee their work, like they say they do. The car died within 24 hours. They said they could do extra work to make it perfect while it was on the lift, but said that would cost another $300, but if they took it off they lift, it would cost another $600. I stopped by to ask if I could use a crescent wrench to disconnect the battery and restart the truck in order to get the truck computer working again. The man started to argue with me without looking at my truck about the truck needing a new instrument panel and that disconnecting the battery would not work. Then when I asked if I could use a wrench he said not a chance, and walked away. I went down the road to another shop. Borrowed the wrench and my truck was fixed after disconnecting and reconnecting the battery. Went back to let him know that it worked for future reference and his quote from across the room was "Well shit, aren't you smarter than God!" I just turned and walked away. Here are my reasons why I will never go back to this place... 1) The man did not care about the customer or that I would have to continue driving with a vehicle that had no instruments, lights, radio. 2) Refused to even let me use a $2 crescent wrench to attempt to fix it, and refused to look at it. 3) Got into a heated argument about how I am stupid and don't know what I am talking about. 4) He makes me wonder if becoming a disabled combat vet was worth it, when people like this exist and refuse to offer a helping hand. A few weeks after I purchased my daughter's car, I kept thinking about the Santa Cruz that I saw and drove on the lot. I fell in love with that truck. The owners gave me a fair deal on it, I was able to pick it up at 4:45 PM and be off the lot by 5 PM with the keys in hand. If you want a painless purchasing experience, I would highly recommend coming here. Salvage titles can be hit or miss, but not when you deal with a reputable business. It gets no simpler. They are high pressure, and if you tell them what you're looking for, they will keep an eye out.
