Wings are good and crispy. Salads need a wringing out. Yep, that's because when they wash the lettuce, the water is still dripping from the lettuce which leaves the lettuce in a puddle of water. They use sliced cheese product for the salads which we are not used to. My husband enjoyed the gyro. Fries were undercooked. Service was ok. I really wanted to like American Deli Douglasville, but my food was terrible. The only edible part of my tray were the French fries. My lemon pepper chicken wings were not cooked all the way through.The health score was a 83, and the service was pretty mediocre. Although the cashiers were nice, it was kind of distracting to see one of the cashiers eating Moe's behind the counter, while I was waiting for my food. My fiancé had no issue with his food, but three out of my ten were slightly undercooked, so I ended up trashing the wings after I ate my fries. While waiting for my food, I saw one of the cooks examining a piece of chicken, determining that it was still raw, and throwing it back into the fryer. I asked for my wings to be a little wet (because sometimes Lemon Pepper wings can be on the dry/bland side), and they did deliver extra wet, lemon peppered, soggy chicken to disguise some of the undercooking. And to make matters worse, the infamous peach drink was not good, because each sip had an after-taste, as if they did not clean the container well, before putting the juice in it. Overall, I do not recommend this American Deli, unless you are coming in for the fries. read more

This has to be the only American delis on the west side and management decided to switch out the American deli ranch with a nasty cheap ranch that comes with salads. American delis have bomb wings, fries and ranch! A lot of wings place lacks in at least one of the food I mentioned but American delis got it all. But this location wanted to be cheap I assume and not give out the real ranch.
