It has a very sports bar vibe. Our waitress was very attentive. I got the potato chips with blue cheese on top and they were delicious. I also got cheese fries with some ranch. Definitely a cool place to grab a bite to eat

This location is pretty limited on parking and it can be tight. I found a spot and walked in, and was hit with a massive scent of Fabuloso. That should've been my first clue on what was to come. It looked clean and I was able to grab a booth. Service was super fast. Typical bar food here but the wings were always great back in the day. I browsed menu and went with the wings (mango habanero). My coworker grabbed a turkey burger for himself. Food came out pretty quickly. My coworker went to the restroom and I started going into my wings. Perfectly crispy and the sauce was good. The house made blue cheese was not really good. My coworker came back, and as he was sitting down, a baby roach crawled out from under his burger. I had eaten half my wings at that point, and just opted to finish them. But the smell of fabuloso started to make sense. Our waitress took the burger away and my coworker just opted to leave. I will say everything else was great but, yeah, I won't be coming back. Damn. Hate that because I love the nostalgia of 3 Dollar Cafe. And I get roaches make their way in from time to time but in the food? No thank you.

Three cheers for chicken cooked right! I accidentally stumbled upon it while make a stop near by…read more It is almost hidden at the end of the row of storefronts. One can order just as you step in the door or get a table. I sat myself but maybe you are suppose to wait to be seated when it is busy. The menu goes in a lot directions from soup to appetizers to a whole or half chicken... I was there for crispy wings! There are several flavors and I asked the server for help. She wasn't a spicy fan so she steered me towards the garlic and honey/honey and soy wings. I ordered the small, 6 wings. The pickled radish was my side- you can choose a can of soda or cole slaw . Out came a small dish of the pickled radish followed a little later by 8 wings. The server explained that they typically have jumbo wings but that's not what they had today so they added another one to make up for it. That's a 5 star review right there! The wings were hot out of the dryer, perfectly seasoned with a sticky sauce that wasn't coated and drippy but rather just the right amount for a great meal and not 50 napkins and new shirt. What a gem! They are doing it right!

The food here is genuinely excellent--some of the best Korean fried chicken I've had in Atlanta…read more The skin is incredibly crispy, the meat is tender and juicy, and the chicken is clearly butchered and cooked with care. The sauces are a real highlight, especially the gochujang-based one, which was absolutely phenomenal. They're generous with the sauce, too, which adds even more flavor to an already well-executed dish. That said, it's hard to ignore the price point. This is easily the most expensive Korean fried chicken spot I've been to. While the quality justifies the cost to an extent, it's still a noticeable jump from other similar places. And while the chicken is very good, it's not necessarily the best in Atlanta--though it's definitely in the top tier. Another thing that stood out was the lack of lower-cost or smaller portion options. There were only half and whole birds available, with no quarter bird or sandwich options, which makes it difficult for someone looking for a more affordable or lighter meal. It feels like they're missing an opportunity to appeal to a broader lunch crowd. In short: it's pricey, but you're getting high-quality, expertly prepared Korean fried chicken. Just be prepared to spend a bit more--and maybe come hungry.

Clay's was a really great spot to catch up with some friends and get some quick but good food…read more The interior is a little small and caused long waits on a Friday night, but once you're seated the TVs are great and the food is really tasty. I had the cheesesteak while my friends had the wings and everyone's food came out quickly and everyone enjoyed their meal. Another highlight is how well priced Clay's is and can really compete on price with lesser quality fast food places as my cheesesteak with fries was just $11. I think Clay's should definitely be considered as a great place to catch a game with some friends!

4.5 Having had more…read morethan my fair share of dusty food and forced conversation, I texted my friend to beg him to rescue me from my work function and to find a place where we could get a drink. 'I'll do you one better,' he said. 'Say less,' I thought. Being that my buddy knows his way around food, drink and Atlanta (ITP and OTP), I knew I was in good hands. Turns out, we didn't have far to travel. As I was discovering, when in the Atlanta metro, it behooves you to eat as many wings as humanly possible. I'd already had my yearly physical so I was all in. Turns out that Clay's was a well-know, well-trod wings destination so I was psyched for the eating ahead of me. We set up shop on the patio and had a wonderfully delightful server wait on us. I didn't know what I was doing but my buddy did. I let him order and sat back and waited for the bounty. We caught up, laughed and did all the things and the food just kept coming. I knew I was in the right place. We got a basket of fries but made those bad boys Cajun. Do this. I used to live in New Orleans. The Cajun name is warranted. Fries should always be seasoned and/or have stuff on them. Always. Wanting to drink local, I helped myself to a Ginger Treehorn Cider. Served in a can, it had depth, generous bite and enough of a kick to know that the ginger was real and not just marketing. But the star of the show was the wings. A mix of drums and flats, these were not your grocery store chicken wings. These were meaty, larger than the average wing and as good as advertised. We ordered 20 for the two of us. Because he knows me, we maximized our sauces to get the best experience. We went to town on garlic parm, honey bbq, lemon pepper, and hot teriyaki. We.Tore.Them.Up! I had sauce on my fingers, face, hair, shirt, and other places and I.Did.Not.Care! Oh man. I don't usually indulge in wings because I'm afraid to be let down (I've been hurt too many times before). Not here. The night started mid (previous offsite) but ended in a food coma. How he drove me home, I do not know. Very happy to have experienced Clay's.
