I was able to place an order online with ease through one of their third party providers on their website (free of charge). I ordered the chicken tender sandwich medium heat, with the comeback sauce as the dipping sauce, pickles on the side, fries, and a strawberry lemonade. The bar has a nice vibe to it. They have some board games which I liked. I was a little confused on where to go to pick up orders but it's in the back by the kitchen. So you would walk in and keep straight and order pickup is to your right. There is a button to press to alert someone, if no one is there. My food was ready when I got there. The chicken sandwich was HUGE and very tasty. I couldn't even eat all of it. I could have gone one level up because the medium wasn't very spicy. I recall coming to this place when it first opened. It was a hole in the wall below a now defunct naan stop (I will write on that later) and at first I was liking the atmosphere, the self-ordering design, and the service, which was good. Music was a little loud for my liking but I was there for takeout, given it was down the street. This was my first attempt at Nashville hot chicken, a recipe that was originally invented by a wife getting revenge over a cheating husband only for him to enjoy the meal so much he started a business selling it! I always go try to give each new restaurant I go to an advantage by heading at right after opening so I can get everything as fresh as possible. I decided I was going to be adventurous and order the jumbo tenders with the most heat. Given I had done ghost pepper wings before, and they were the best wings I ever had, I felt that going further (I think Carolina reaper?) wouldnt be so hard. I also ordered another batch of fries because the potato portions at these chicken places, to me are lacking. My chicken tenders were surprisingly large. but the heat really shocked me! I couldn't believe how hot it was, and all my remedies were not really doing the job. I had to eat the fries and finish the tenders later because my mouth was on fire and in a bad way! This being said, even with all this heat, there was flavor, and the texture was good. This wasnt some clever attempt to make bad-tasting chicken that is covered up with heat. Flavor and heat should never overpower one another. Scoville was on fire with their product, but I think I hit my flavor threshold that day as well, and ghost chilis are the threshold for me. My only complaint, however, is that their portion sizes are smaller, and I dont recall the price going down as a result. This is sadly a common tactic in many fast food establishments, where portions are quietly reduced but prices remain the same or, even worse, go up. If you're going to make less food, then reduce the price; it's only fair. No customer should pay as much as, if not more, for less. This place was SO good! An underrated! I have driven past several times and didn't realize there was a restaurant right behind the Chipotle. It was pretty empty but the food was delicious and made to order. You're able to pick your spice level based on the meter available on the menu and on the wall. I ended up getting up the Croffle Chicken Sandwich (Hot) with a side of Tater Tots. So good! The food came out popping hot and it was a large serving size, so I was able to take some home. There is outdoor seating as well as a few tables on the inside. The majority of other orders were take out but we decided to stay inside for our meal. On a scale of not hot to very hot it was not hot, which is weird for the extra hot I ordered. The fries they gave are just ok but the quantity was lacking. I'M UPSET... That this location of Scoville Hot Chicken didn't exist when I was working in the office walking distance away. But it is what it is and I found myself here for lunch one day. I wasn't sure if the outdoor patio was dog friendly - but turns out the owner/manager was there having a meeting outdoors and loved on my pup, so phew! I ordered inside - thank god for my friend watching over the pup while I ordered. I've had the Reaper level and the medium heat at Scoville Hot Chicken so I decided to try the hot this time. Reaper was out of the question for me - I was in so much pay during and afterward lol. But medium was a bit mild for me. Turns out the hot was SLIGHTLY too hot for me but close enough to what I usually prefer. I ordered two of these sandwiches with drinks and fries in total with 15% tip $50.00. I would have loved for this to have been worth the money but it wound up in. Atlanta's hottest hot chicken sandwich business opened this second Atlanta-area location in Buckhead a few months ago in March 2021. After checking out this location in Buckhead, I'm happy to report they pumped out the same high-quality product here in Buckhead as they've done 3.3 miles north on Roswell Road. If you haven't been to Scoville Hot Chicken yet, it's definitely worth a visit. Scoville's menu continues to expand. I used this visit as an opportunity to try a couple new items. That said, their menu is still laser-focused, featuring two key specialties: the Hot Chicken Sandwich ($8) and Chicken Tenders ($8 for 4 tenders). Sides include fries ($3), coleslaw ($2), and macaroni salad ($3) with optional add-ons like Scoville "Comeback" Sauce ($0.50) and extra Reaper Seasoning on the side ($1). Drinks consist of Stubborn Soda (fountain soda, $2.50), tea and bottled water ($2), and fresh-squeezed strawberry lemonade ($4). You save $1 if you order the sandwich or tenders with fries. Take just about any chicken sandwich and Scoville's version probably blows it away in terms of fillet size. It's huge. As for the tenders, they were more "normal" in size and extremely tasty; delectably fried, mouthwateringly seasoned, and wonderfully moist and tender on the inside. I recommend ordering the tenders with maple syrup, Comeback Sauce, and/or ranch dressing. Generally, the chicken has a slow heat that builds. I ordered the extra Reaper Seasoning on the side because I wanted to be able to vary and control the spiciness level. I shared this meal with my wife and our spice tolerances are different. If you love spicy food like me, the Reaper Seasoning is great to use on other foods too. It really packs a nice punch. The macaroni salad and slaw were fine. Both do a decent job of balancing and cooling out the intense flavors of the spicy chicken and salty, Reaper-seasoned fries. As far as the fries go, I think the garlic aioli is a must. I placed my pickup order on my phone following the link on Scoville's website for the Buckhead location: https://www.toasttab.com/scoville-hot-chicken-buckhead-3420-piedmont-road-ne/v3. The Toast interface was simply and easy to navigate. Payment (I used Google Pay) was seamless. I placed my order when I was about 10 minutes away and it was ready promptly when I arrived. They gave me an estimated 15-20 minute lead time and they beat it. Service here seems to be just as fast and efficient as the Sandy Springs location, running like a well-oiled machine. During my visit, this location had about 10 seats inside, all stools next to a U-shaped counter tucked away in a corner. There's not much space to begin with. This is a takeout joint more than anything. Pretty much pandemic-proof. There's a covered, string-lit patio with ceiling fans. The patio had eight picnic tables. The tables weren't socially distanced when I went. Like the Sandy Springs location, there are two touchscreen displays on the wall inside where you can place an order in-person. Alternatively, there are QR codes you can scan outside which allow you to place an order like I did using your phone. I suggest ordering ahead of time so you don't have to wait. This Scoville location opened in the old Lovies BBQ space near the busy Buckhead intersection of Piedmont and Lenox Roads. You can't see it from the street. Fast-casual Indian restaurant NaanStop occupies the street-facing part of the building. Scoville occupies the spot down below in the back, facing the parking lot. Just pull in like you're going to NaanStop. There's sufficient parking in the lot shared by Scoville, NaanStop, and Chipotle next door. Lovies closed in July 2020. While this hidden location isn't ideal, I think a trendy brand like Scoville, with its streamlined menu, popular product, and takeout-friendly business model, will do just fine here. read more

I visited Buckhead for a conference, and was looking for what's around the hotel before my trip. Being a huge hot sauce lover, the name Scoville stood out to me. I stopped by Scoville because I was craving some Nashville hot chicken. And I gotta say Scoville understood the assignment! Scoville has you order on a touch screen and then you wait and listen for your number to get your food. There wasn't any seating on the inside but plenty of space to stand and wait. I love spicy food but I know Nashville style hot chicken sandwiches can really turn up the heat so I played it safe and went with the regular hot level. And boy was I right to choose that level! I also LOVEEE the cute stickers they put on the boxes to label them. This was my second time at Scoville, and I decided to check out the tenders. I got chicken tenders combo + shirt, which comes with fries, ranch, and their comeback sauce, and a t-shirt (which is 15$ by itself, but $5 if you get it with a combo.) I also got a side of coleslaw. I got the tenders at the "hot" spice level, which honestly wasn't too hot, but still spicier than your average Buffalo tender. They have 5 spice levels, ranging from "chill" to "reaper," and "hot" was right in the middle. I like my food spicy, but the "hot" is honestly the highest I would go. The tenders were more of a dry rub tender instead of a wet type. Think of it as a regular chicken tender sprinkled with hot seasoning. The fries were really good, they were the perfect amount of crispiness and softness. The tenders were also pretty good, but I would've preferred them to be more wet instead of dry, but that's just me. The coleslaw wasn't anything special, just your average coleslaw. The t-shirt was really cool as well!!! There was nothing on the front, but the back had a cool image on it. There is also free parking right in front of the restaurant. Living in TN for a good amount of years resulted in me appreciating a good Nashville hot chicken sandwich. The spice level is not the same as those you find in Nashville (or even those that transitioned to Atlanta). If I'm honest a mild heat level of one of the Nashville hot chicken places is quite hot for me, not so much here, I didn't feel much heat here. Maybe a medium would be more true to the experience? I also think that white meat was used, so it was not as juicy. Also, there was a overwhelming butter flavor to the sauce. You place your order and pay at the kiosk at the back of the store. Many customers, including us, struggled with the card reader. Make sure you look at the symbols to know which way to insert your card as it was not intiutive. The seating area was slammed so we chose to have In-Car Dining. We were so excited to get our Hot Chicken sandwich. I will start with the piece of chicken was huge. The sandwich was beautiful. We were both totally let down after the first bite. The taste was just not quite right. The chicken was moist but it was also shredding apart when biting through it. Kind of like spaghetti noodles. It was strange. The slaw tasted like it came from a Big Box store. So everything went in the trash. For $10 I was expecting excellence. An $8 chicken sandwich should be perfect in every way. Popeye's Spicy Chicken Sandwich is hands down much better and only $3.99 ($6.49 for a combo with a side and drink included). I would rank the Hot Chicken places in the Atlanta area No 1 Gu's Hot Chicken, followed by No 2 Hattie B's and lastly No 3 Scoville Hot Chicken. Then there were the Crinkle Cut fries. First came here over a year ago and this used to be a decent place to go. The last three times I have come here have been poor experiences. I did not receive the requested sauce two times and got over fried horrible quality sandwiches. As I left another employee yelled at me to get back to the counter and started accusing me of stealing. The sandwich was perfectly composed, somehow they kept the biggest filet I've ever seen on a sandwich tender throughout, the fries were perfectly crisped and the garlic aioli was a perfect match for those fries. But the water cups. You're marketed inside and out as an extremely hot fried chicken company. If I wanted to pop back in in a pinch with a Tylenol, I'd be super grateful for the amount of water you can fit in your medicine cups, but in any other circumstance, it sucks. There's little seating inside, so I get my tiny cup, go out, eat some of my sandwich, the fries, wipe my mouth with my hand a little, clean the delicious garlic aioli off of my fingers. The heat is perfect and makes me cough a little. I wipe my runny nose. I grab your door handles, then your napkins, then the handle to the water spout on three separate trips in and out. I'm not even a germaphobe or terribly COVID sensitive, but this food is designed to be messy af and burn you.
