Not only are pleasant and prompt, the quality of their work for the price is unbeatable in my opinion. I never have to worry about my clothing in their hands! Photo below shows their work with taking in a waistline and hemming up a skirt that I wore this past weekend as a bridesmaid (I am wearing a corset & skirt in the photo). They also steamed/pressed my top and skirt for free. In all, alterations cost $75 with a 1.5 or so week turn around (they could have gotten it done much sooner, but I was in no rush). In my opinion, that is an incredibly fair price for the absolutely incredible work they did! My skirt fit like a glove....better yet, it was a one and done deal. They got it perfect the first time and I have never gotten more compliments on how something has fit me. Recommend them so much so I am writing this review before I drop off items for service! Don't waste your time getting burned by other cleaners/alteration spots. Handicraft Cleaners gets it right the first time and every time!

The staff was polite and attentive upon drop off and pick up. The cost for the 4 items I dropped off actually ended up being fairly reasonable as well. I was just a bit concerned about that as I wasn't told upon dropping them off. I was given the option of how quickly these needed to be turned around. Overall a very good experience. Nothing to do with Herman Jackson's, but parking is always an adventure in San Marco and it would be nice if they had their own parking. It would also be nice to have an idea of what the cost was going to be before leaving the drop off but the fact that it was reasonable more than made up for that. Great place to use of you need a dry cleaner in Jacksonville. I recommend you give them a try.

I went out with friends and wore one of my favorite dresses and got a stain from dinner. I also had a shirt that needed a seam repair and another in need of a button. I love that they have a drive-through! Charles, the owner, explained my items would be ready the following week by Wednesday due to the schedule of the seamstress. He also explained that due to Covid, both the shirts would have to be dry cleaned after the seamstress repairs were complete. Charles provided excellent customer service! Most of the time he remembers my name even though I only visit a few times a year. That's impressive! I paid the bill when I dropped off the items which cost a little more than $30. I felt this was reasonable. I was so happy to see he removed the stain from my favorite dress and it looked brand new. And I was pleased with both of my shirt repairs. When I returned with a very large load of things, he told me that he was busy at the time but that he would look through the bags later and touch base with me about the prices. Instead, he cleaned everything and then called me with an exorbitant amount afterwards. When my husband went to pick up the items, I realized that he didn't have the entire order. The owner didn't even call to tell me that he'd forgotten to give my husband things. And of course the receipt was not itemized so it's a good thing that I noticed. A jacket is still missing... That experience of care for each customer and each garment continued throughout the drop off and pick up process. I am extremely satisfied with the condition of my clothes and the price I paid to have the dry cleaning done. The turn around seemed quicker than most other dry cleaners as well. There is even a little semi-circle to park your car while dropping off and picking up. The entire experience was excellent, and I would highly recommend I & C cleaners for all of your dry cleaning needs.
