I had a tight turnaround, a little over 2 weeks but they said they could do it. When I called back to officially make an appointment I was quoted much longer (6 weeks I believe) but when I mentioned I had just called yesterday and they had said they could work within my timeframe, they said that was fine. I am done with Ocean cleaner. My shirts and pants are not pressed professionally and I get them with wrinkles. The reason they tell me is that my shirts are too expensive and they don't want to damage them and then have to pay for them. I have complained several times to the manager at the counter regarding my shirts twice I've been told that they were going to give it to the pressing manager which has not corrected the problem. read more

I have tried a number of cleaners in Jacksonville over the past 15 years. However, I've been using Oceanside for about a year and I will not be looking for another dry cleaner as long as I live here. Yes, it does cost a little more. However the delivery service, friendly people when you visit the location and quality of work provided makes the cost well worth it. Right after our house fire, he showed up with his draw string bags and said to get what we needed right now and that he would be back to separate winter from summer clothing. It took awhile for I had myself, husband and two children to think about. Between tears and friends dropping by, he never rushed me. In fact he said to take my time that he wasn't in any hurry. The next morning, he and a helper, appeared at our hotel that we were having to stay, for our home was uninhabitable. He had a rolling rack with all the clothes and undergarments I had given him. Later that day, he met me at the house to gather all the rest of our summer clothes. He came later for the our winter garments. We were out of our house for nine months while Mike stored our clothes on racks were we could come by to get other clothes as we needed. His Southside location was our personal closet. Mike never complained about keeping them for so long. He and his staff are simply the best with their caring attitude, not only about your clothes, but about their customers. I will never go here again. I went here because the were voted "best in Jax" and because I wasn't happy with where I was taking my clothes. Were they pleasant? Yes. But does that give you the right to charge an absurd amount of money? No! On top of everything else, my cheap swim-suit cover must have been in the same bag by accident and not only did they dry clean it but they charged me more than $15 to do so. If their customer service was that good, they should have put the item to the side and said something about it at pick-up.
