Pros: This is a very sweet spot with a great vibe. Live music, spacious interior, roaring pizza oven, large patio. The salad was fresh and delicious, if a bit overdressed. Cons: On the busy July Thursday evening when we visited, our server wasn't particularly friendly and our single flatbread took about 40 minutes to arrive. We were surprised at the sparseness of the toppings- plenty of vegan cheese, but very few peppers and olives. So even though it was great to be able to get a vegan pizza, we left a bit hungry and frustrated after waiting so long for so little. read more

Would recommend dining in. I am thinking the pizza just doesn't travel well as it was soggy and cheese was tough/chewy. Even after reheating was not the most enjoyable. I believe the meatballs were boil cooked and covered with sauce and cheese thereafter.. Seems like a popular spot and many friends dined in so do that. We ordered takeout from this location during the Eclipse - it was tasty and a big hit!! We have a Flatbread in our town in Connecticut, and there were subtle differences which I thought I'd share here. The ambiance of the restaurant is gorgeous, centered around the warm hearth. The pizzas have great sauce and cheese, and importantly the herbs are very prominent! If you have kids that object to green things, don't forget to ask for no herbs. The service was warm, welcoming, and friendly. My only qualm was with the family salad. It was quite expensive at $40, almost double the price of the family salad at my home branch, but with far far less food. Really large place with a decent patio to sit at. Their "flatbreads" are essentially slightly thin crust pizza. We ordered 2 large pizzas and 2 salads for 6 people and that was plenty of food. The Vermont sausage was really nice and flavorful and the veggie special was quite nice as well. The margarita is a bit non-traditional and power to the people was a bit flavorless. First trip to Stowe and we stayed at the Lodge, which is 15 mins away. This is a great place to eat and just enjoy the ambiance. There is a nice fireplace to sit by. The service was very fast and the food was amazing. I got the half "Vermont Sausage" and half "Power to the People". The Vermont sausage is definitely my favorite. It's the perfect blend of salty and sweet. The power to the people is Buffalo chicken, which is always a great choice. I would definitely come back again after snowboarding all day. This has to be one of the best pizza places in the entire USA. Now keep in mind that it is not traditional pizza dough but flatbread, and quite honestly, this place ruined me for regular pizza dough. This flatbread is so good that you will absolutely enjoy your meal. The pizzas are cooked in 2 large wood-fired ovens. Looking up the restaurants in the area, there weren't a ton, but this place stood out. They didn't take reservations so we got there early. It gave a lodge style/ski vibe. We decided to try a punctuated equilibrium and a pepperoni/peppers. The pizza was light and airy. Great crunch to the crust but still with a little chew. I'm not a big fan on dense dough, so I appreciated that this wasn't the case. Punctuated equilibrium was my favorite. Fantastic melding of flavors. This American Flatbread truly exceeded our expectations. We went on a Wednesday in May and they had $2 oysters to entice the crowd .Naturally we snarfed 2 dozen and washed them down with some local craft beer while we decided what type of pizzas to order . We also had an outstanding tuna poke bowl that transported me to Hawaii. We decided on a large Medicine Wheel ( an AF classic) and a large pepperoni. Did I mention the fabulous bottle of Barolo ?
