    We did a application for a home at RNB rentals was told we were 2nd in line for the home and would…read morehave a answer by the end of the week if the applicants before us got the home or not after waiting all week on Friday March 13th we were told the house has been rented out and is off market we were asked if there were any other homes we were interested in we told them no unfortunately there's nothing else on their website we were interested in and asked for a refund on our applications no problems there they did agree to give us back our $200 dollars now fast forward to Monday March 16th only 3 days after after we were told the house has Been rented Out we see the home back on the market we hurry apply again for the home and reach out to RNB asking if we can possibly get our spot back as next in line for the home we were told had been rented out we called left a message they didn't answer they listened to our voicemail and emailed us back saying sorry no they go by 1st come 1st serve basis which i totally understand but in a case like this you would think since we were next in line for this home they would have called us and said hey the applicants before you didn't end up working out and will be putting the house back on the market but nope no phone call no email we just happened to see it back on the market now we went from next in line to 3rd in line I feel like this is super unfair because we only took our application off of the home because RNB told us it was RENTED and off Market hopefully they make it right

We've been trying to get in contact with them for about a week and a half through calls, texts, and even by visiting their office in person, only to find out that no one is actually there. The contact information listed online didn't seem reliable, and we were given different numbers to try instead, which only added to the confusion. I do want to highlight that Adam was great, he was responsive and got back to us in a timely manner. However, he isn't able to assist with property-specific inquiries, so we were referred to Jesse multiple times. Despite being told on more than one occasion that Jesse would reach out, at one point even the same day, we never heard back and were left waiting days without any follow-up. At this point, I can't imagine the amount of loss occurring due to this kind of lack of communication. Since then, we've moved on and are now working with another property management company and are in the process of signing. Overall, this experience has been disappointing, especially when we were genuinely interested in moving forward. It made the process unnecessarily stressful and left a poor impression of the company as a whole.

Better communication from your part would have been incredibly helpful throughout this experience. Not leaving someone to wonder if "applications have been received" or if they are "under review", or the only response you receive is "owner decided to go a different rout", only after you get their attention by submitting a bad review. Furthermore, I would like to emphasize that simply editing a comment or response does not fix the underlying issues or make the situation right.     After all of this had happened. I felt like it was some kind of unconditioned with sibling such as…read moremetaphorical kind of way. After a while, I started to see Dan, he showed up and showed him around. He explained how it work between with any Property Management and the owner while requesting for any work repair. There was one lady whom suppose to work with me named Stephanie (long story, but let me make it short simplifying thing), she mentioned she talking with owner for the past approximately 4-5 months , therefore no result. That how I was about to get Dan which I finally meet him. He fired that lady, Stephanie, then got another person. That all good. I rather reach out to Dan for any quicker responses. He is the main person. So, things happened, got things settle, and made a good deal for me for one month. It wasn't a bad deal and got most of the thing fix like ceiling fan in living room, replacement 2 fans/light upstairs, fix heather, eh, it was all taken care off. Alright then, that my simply journey story. I end up staying another year but more likely stay here 3 more year for the kids school. All that thing being happening, henceforth one I recommend go through it, however always get Dan or each out to him. Someone might help, but he is the one you actually need to take things care of.     From start to finish, my experience with this property management company has been excellent. Sean,…read morethe leasing agent, has been fantastic. He was very accommodating with my schedule when it came to viewing the property, and even though it was a Friday, he went above and beyond to help get my application approved over a holiday weekend when the office wasn't even open. Any questions or concerns we've had have been addressed quickly and efficiently. Most recently, our AC stopped working, and Sean had someone out the very next day to repair it. He even offered to provide a portable AC if he wasn't able to get a technician out right away, which was greatly appreciated. After dealing with other property management companies in the past, this has been a refreshing experience. The level of communication, responsiveness, and customer service has been outstanding. We love our new home and look forward to staying here for years to come. Highly recommend!

    On January 31, 2025, I reached out to American Horizon Property Management to inquire about tenant…read moreplacement services for a property we just bought in Roseville, CA. Robert Bussell who is the Broker/President of American Horizon answered the phone. Robert asked a couple questions and then made some "interesting" observations about Section 8 voucher holders. His information seemed off so I asked further and he must've realized what he said was not accurate. Robert hesitated commenting further on Section 8 by saying "You don't work for us. We're not business partners so I suggest you do your own research". He asked about 6 questions about our condo and confirmed "Ok, good" for each answer and spoke about how nice our property is. Then in an awkward turn, he abruptly said "Yeah we wouldn't be a good fit." and in a very effeminate and demeaning tone Robert said "Hmmph... byeeeeeee" and hung up the phone. I wondered what just happened. I called back but my call was ignored. So maybe this was a blessing in disguise. If the President of this company was this weird and robotically dismissive, how would American Horizon Property treat my future tenant(s)? The answer is they'd be fired on day one. Update as of 02-26-2025: I found Action Properties (https://www.actionproperties.com) and they are phenomenal. Serena Trueblood and Terri Alcala have been responsive and even found us a tenant with a 1 year lease! I have no doubt Action Properties will treat our new tenant with respect and professionalism.
