He sent me detailed information directly via email, answered every question I had, and made what could have been an overwhelming decision feel straightforward. Before contacting RNB, I had reached out to another property management company, and the experience paled in comparison. They weren't nearly as helpful and mostly directed me to their website for information. RNB's personalized service and communication really stood out. We were fully planning to move forward with RNB until our plans changed and we decided to sell our home instead. Even though we never officially became clients, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend RNB to anyone looking for a property management company. Their customer service is exceptional.

It's been exceptionally hard to find help with some properties in the Sacramento area that I can't manage myself. During my initial search, most of companies I talked to in the area over promised and under delivered. I do have high standards of course as I myself have been doing the job for 10 years but I couldn't believe the experiences I was having with these other companies. We've been trying to get in contact with them for about a week and a half through calls, texts, and even by visiting their office in person, only to find out that no one is actually there. The contact information listed online didn't seem reliable, and we were given different numbers to try instead, which only added to the confusion. I do want to highlight that Adam was great, he was responsive and got back to us in a timely manner. However, he isn't able to assist with property-specific inquiries, so we were referred to Jesse multiple times. Despite being told on more than one occasion that Jesse would reach out, at one point even the same day, we never heard back and were left waiting days without any follow-up. At this point, I can't imagine the amount of loss occurring due to this kind of lack of communication. Since then, we've moved on and are now working with another property management company and are in the process of signing. Overall, this experience has been disappointing, especially when we were genuinely interested in moving forward. It made the process unnecessarily stressful and left a poor impression of the company as a whole.

That how I was about to get Dan which I finally meet him. He fired that lady, Stephanie, then got another person. That all good. I rather reach out to Dan for any quicker responses. He is the main person. So, things happened, got things settle, and made a good deal for me for one month. It wasn't a bad deal and got most of the thing fix like ceiling fan in living room, replacement 2 fans/light upstairs, fix heather, eh, it was all taken care off. Alright then, that my simply journey story. I end up staying another year but more likely stay here 3 more year for the kids school. Long story short, they do not have people in their office or who represent them who can answer questions correctly. After completing 3 applications (tenant and married guarantors), we were told that they did not accept guarantors for the rent. I accept this, but I wish they did not waste our time. I quoted California law, and they did return our three application fees. As a side note, I also agree with other reviewers that there is one older women answering phones and setting up appointments for viewing the property who is absolutely rude. She really has an unpleasant attitude. When I asked her to repeat something she said, she told me to stop talking over her. A very poor representative for any business! By the way, they missed out on a great tenant who never missed a payment in eight years! (The rental is still available over 30 days later!)

Any questions or concerns we've had have been addressed quickly and efficiently. Most recently, our AC stopped working, and Sean had someone out the very next day to repair it. He even offered to provide a portable AC if he wasn't able to get a technician out right away, which was greatly appreciated. Robert Bussell who is the Broker/President of American Horizon answered the phone. Robert asked a couple questions and then made some "interesting" observations about Section 8 voucher holders. His information seemed off so I asked further and he must've realized what he said was not accurate. Robert hesitated commenting further on Section 8 by saying "You don't work for us. We're not business partners so I suggest you do your own research". He asked about 6 questions about our condo and confirmed "Ok, good" for each answer and spoke about how nice our property is. Then in an awkward turn, he abruptly said "Yeah we wouldn't be a good fit." and in a very effeminate and demeaning tone Robert said "Hmmph... byeeeeeee" and hung up the phone. I wondered what just happened. I called back but my call was ignored. So maybe this was a blessing in disguise. If the President of this company was this weird and robotically dismissive, how would American Horizon Property treat my future tenant(s)? The answer is they'd be fired on day one. Update as of 02-26-2025: I found Action Properties (https://www.actionproperties.com) and they are phenomenal. Serena Trueblood and Terri Alcala have been responsive and even found us a tenant with a 1 year lease! I have no doubt Action Properties will treat our new tenant with respect and professionalism.
