Every time I'd take it out to the dunes and drive through the sand to get my camper where I wanted it, the front differential would end up cracking or failing. Brett and Kev took the time to diagnose the real issue and came up with a permanent solution. They fabricated a custom bracket to reinforce the front differential, making it much stronger, and also re-geared both the front and rear differentials. I was honestly a little hesitant at first because I'd had so many failures in the past, but after taking it back out to the dunes and putting it through some hard driving in the sand, it performed flawlessly. The difference is incredible. My truck feels stronger, more capable, and gives me the confidence to drive it the way I always wanted to. Bought 4 used tires from this place a couple weeks ago. At first they could only find 3 of the…read moresize I wanted and tried to sell me a different size for the 4th one and claim it was the same thing. I pressed for them all to be the same size or Id pass on buying any. Eventually they decided to actually look for the 4th tire in the size I wanted and found it. They were all different brands which is no big deal, but they claimed they all are really good tires and have around 70% tread still. Well.... I've had air pressure issues in all 4 of them since I got them. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt on that one. Today I drove for about 10 minutes before one of my back tires went flat. The tread completely separated from the tire walls. They sold me a bad tire. I've barely driven on them since I bought them. So I pulled over to changed the tire and what do ya know... I must mention I also paid a lot to have them fix 2 of my wheel studs. The guy spent 10 minutes trying to change the stud by whacking my brakes with a hammer or something until he realized they weren't coming loose because the E-brake was up. At one point I had to go question him about why he was doing that and expressed how I hoped he wasn't damaging anything. Anyway, the wheel studs happened to be on the same wheel with the bad tire. We were also short a lug nut so they took it upon themselves to replace it with a nut that required a different size tool to remove instead of just leaving it as is. I wasn't aware of this. So when I went to change my tire i couldn't because I didn't have the tool to remove that one nut. I had to drive home 5 miles on a completely torn apart flat tire just so I could change to a spare tire. Now I know used tires don't have warranties but this was clearly a bad tire they sold me without a doubt. I called anyway to see if they'd maybe have good customer service and make it right but nope. I was offered a possible small discount on another used tire that may or may not have the same issue. Who knows? I don't recommend this place unless you are willing to risk having the experience I had.

I was passing through Tulare from Fresno to Bakersfield & stopped in at your Tulare store (on Prosperity I believe) because my back left tire was really low. They checked it, removed a nail, & repaired it. No charge, there was barely a wait time, the fellow who greeted me & took my info showed excellent customer care skills, it was also evident how proud he was of American Tire Depot. While waiting I saw him use the same excellent customer service care with a gentleman who had several issues he needed addressed with his vehicle. To tell you the truth, I miss took Tire depot for the other place that has almost the same name and same colors and I normally go to them in Bakersfield. However, I have never received such excellent customer service there as I did at American tire depot in Tulare. I did ask for a business card which I promptly put on my dash so that I will remember in Bakersfield And go to the American tire depot and not the other because the customer service I received at the store Tulare made such an impression on read more

Amazing!!! I was in a rush to get my kids to school one morning & noticed a bad flat tire. Lucky for me these guys were right across the street. Once I got everything checked out I was told it would be a about half an hour before they could change it & I agreed considering I was down a tire. While waiting about 10mins I got a phone call & stepped out side & about 3 mins later the guy who helped me I believe he's name was Frankie pulled up in front of me with my car!! He had stopped his work & proceeded to fix my tire himself! Hardly the wait I was expecting. To say I was so grateful is an understatement. He understood I was in a hurry & with the best attitude ever was so kind to do it as soon as he could!! I was traveling down 99 when my tire blew. Obviously already in a bad mood given the situation, I walked into this location and was instantly greeted. The bright and positive attitudes from the employees (Bobby and Dustin) turned my whole day around. Bobby was as professional as it gets and not only helped me pick the right tire but took the time to educate on tires so I could be a more informed customer. This kind of trait made me feel like I was working with family. Along side of him my car was all done before I had a chance to sit down. Dustin must have worked in nascar in the past because I couldn't believe how fast everything got done! The only complaint that I have is that those two don't work in the tire shop near me! read more

When preparing to tow our 32' trailer home my husband noticed one of the truck tires appeared to be low. It was recommended we go here to have it checked. My tires were not only installed promptly there were some issues with the wheel being a big bent which had not been addressed. Also being an older pickup it needed some attention with power steering and a few new parts. I was given two ways to do it and one was to look for the parts myself which saved a ton of money. Last time I came to get my oil change on my Honda was in and out super fast. They did mention they offer free tire repair so I remembered to come back and get a tire checked because my tesla was losing air on my back right tire. Osvaldo was here and was able to assist me get it fixed completely for FREE. Again I was in and out in under 15 mins thanks to Gabriel. Was quoted online a lot cheaper quote than others I went to. When I got there the customer service was so great. There was an altercation with a girl and her male friend and the guy behind the counter stood up for the girl and was very nice to her, which impressed me enough to make me want to come back, but then he was as nice to me when he found more wrong than my brakes and tires. I really lucked out today when I got a flat tire. Turned out all my tires were really bad and the alignment was way off. David, the assistant manager, was able to give me a choice of several tires. I needed my tire pressure sensors reset after a wheel swap and another tire service shop was unable to do it and they sent me to you guys. I asked Seth if he could reset my sensors and he said "no problem". He was rest all four sensors and then balanced the pressure in my tires. He did this all as a complimentary service. Thank You. J.
