I booked it straight to Discount Tire after work, knowing that I had to drive to Fresno tonight and was concerned about doing so on that tire. Even though they were clearly slammed, Ruben squeezed me in and Armando was able to fix me up (sure enough, there was a nail in the tire and they were able to plug and patch it.) It was the same person each time, and he came across as rude, dismissive, and completely uninterested in helping. Putting customers on hold without saying anything or repeatedly transferring them instead of answering a simple pricing question is incredibly unprofessional. If getting a basic quote is this difficult, I can't imagine what actual service would be like. Very disappointing customer service. Do better. I should have known what to expect since they're associated with Walmart. I wanted to add I ordered 8 tires and will be cancelling my order now

I can't say enough good things about these guys! I brought my truck in after constantly having…read moreproblems with my front differential. Every time I'd take it out to the dunes and drive through the sand to get my camper where I wanted it, the front differential would end up cracking or failing. Brett and Kev took the time to diagnose the real issue and came up with a permanent solution. They fabricated a custom bracket to reinforce the front differential, making it much stronger, and also re-geared both the front and rear differentials. I was honestly a little hesitant at first because I'd had so many failures in the past, but after taking it back out to the dunes and putting it through some hard driving in the sand, it performed flawlessly. The difference is incredible. My truck feels stronger, more capable, and gives me the confidence to drive it the way I always wanted to. If you're looking for knowledgeable people who stand behind their work and build things the right way, I highly recommend Brett and Kev at Big Boyz. Ordered tires online and made an appointment to have them installed…read more They requested that you show up 15 minutes prior to your appointment time. I called twice before my appointment to make sure that the tires I ordered were shipped to the store and was placed on hold twice and disconnected both times. (Yes this was a sign of what to expect) I show up 20 minutes early and they have my name spelled wrong for my appointment, service guy at the counter claims it's how I put it into the computer, nope I have the confirmation email with the correct spelling. They finally take my vehicle in 45 minutes after my appointment time and then 20 minutes later advise me that the tires ordered were the wrong size for my vehicle, again I have a confirmation email. This place is operated by a complete idiot and blames the customer when the customer has a confirmation email with the correct spelling and tire size. Wasted an hour and a half of my time and strongly recommend any other tire shop other than theirs place. Zero stars this place is a disaster

5/2026 Tire service…read moreon my 2500 dodge ram. Well it happened that my tire pressure sensor lost communication with the sensor module. It happened after I had rim repair (welding at a different shop) and the Tire pressure sensor was swapped to another rim which got loose inside the tire. I visited a couple of good known mechanics and said that the sensor was detected inside the tire but for some reason they couldn't reprogram it with their scanner (no charge for that) and said maybe need to go to the dealer. I called Firestone and they quoted me for $250 parts, labor and balancing. I visited my favorite tire shop Pacific Tires 1001 E Main St Visalia CA (559) 627-8664 And right off the bat I was greeted by George and before explaining all the story he said "it is the sensor's battery or something wrong with the sensor. You need a new sensor and it will cost you $70 total" (parts, labor and rebalancing) And yes. That was the fix. They have about 8 workers and the wait is minimal. I also needed new front brakes for my Toyota Corolla and I was quoted 450 at the Toyota dealership just for the front pads (no disc) and pacific tires did new pads and new disc (front only) for less than 300 ( I forgot since was months ago) Thank you Pacific tires
