Then I asked for a quote to replace rotors and brake pads for my rear axle thinking I would get the standard 275-350 dollar quote like I got from local mechanics here in Visalia, thinking I would get it all done at one place. Nope that was a total of 632.00 dollars for one axle. I recently moved from San Diego to this community here in Visalia maybe he thought I was an out of towner but I'm not an idiot. Thank you for showing me your true colors as I will take my personal vehicles and business fleet elsewhere. So beware of Bait and Switch. They don't honor what's quoted on website. You go in thinking you will spend $900 *w/current promo all in for tires and brakes then try to get you at almost double. I must stay...I've come here fairly regularly for an oil change, but for anything more (parts, diagnostics), it shouldn't even be in business. Major decline came after corporation took over what was a franchise. Sold me a bill of goods a few months ago, claimed they were "sure" what was causing the car to stall, replaced some major parts. Same problem all over again. Suddenly they're playing games as to their "availability"...and the time it's going to take them to "reevaluate" the issues. Crew appears small... is grossly unskilled/unqualified, front desk unable to adequately communicate with customers, and unprofessional. So off to another shop. read more

These ppl are careless. My son took my car for an alignment and when they returned the car to him it had a huge dent on the bumper. My son tried resolving it there w them but they wouldn't do it so I called them and all the manager tried to do was try to explain how it could have been them but he kept stuttering because obviously he was lying. And of course to get out of it their go to is call customer service and I said no so he said he'd file a damn claim which we know how this is going to turn out these companies don't care. Took the car in for a nail in the tire since they were open early morning. The nail was about two inches from the sidewall. They went for the instant upsell to a new tire rather than letting me know right away they didn't want to work on it. We had sat there for an hour while they looked at everything else on my car then came in and referred me to a small independent shop. No comments from them on the inspection. It was rather disappointing they didn't check the issue and have me on my way sooner. I would have been more willing to go back if they hadn't seemingly wasted my time. read more

What a waste of time!!! I explained clearly and concisely that this was "the day" for service on my Sprinter. I literally called and told them I need anything done today, and here's a blank check. They told me that was fine so I would need to leave it for the day. After doing that, dropping the vehicle off that morning, I was told they would call with any info. needed or would do any necessary work. (Went in for a simple alignment but ended up almost flying into lanes after getting it done.) I usually thought they did a quick routine inspection just to see if things are loose or missing but no, the lower balljoint/knuckle I put in was missing a bleeder valve (making it super stiff because of no grease) that didn't come with the part so I breezed by it which was my fault, but when I was on the way back to Las Vegas that's where things took a turn literally. Every time I would hit a dip my truck would swerve so hard to the right it felt like I was going to slam into the car next to me and it probably looked like I was drunk if you watching from the outside. When I got home I happened to look under and the first thing I seen was the missing bleeder valve. This is the first time going in for a "professional" alignment with this truck because I just use toe plates at home but now it makes me skeptical about even going to another firestone here in Vegas. I know it'll be free because of the 1 year warranty but at what cost? Whatever you do I recommend you avoid this firestone if you don't want your car/truck touched by below entry level mechanics that will have your car leaving in worse condition than it was. There were two people there already complaining about the work that was done on their cars and I should've taken that as the hint to leave that place as soon as I could. I wish people actually took pride in their work and didn't just do something to make money. Coming from someone who does their own fabrication and works on their own cars and trucks this is hands down the worst place I've ever been to and makes me realize this is why I do all of the work alone because "if you want something done right you do it yourself". read more

While courteous, these guys have consistently dropped the ball on servicing my truck. Forgetting to change the oil, installing a dead battery, not catching obvious vehicle issues, and I'm pretty sure they didn't even change the air filter, when the bill said they did. By far the best vehicle service station I have taken my vehicle for repairs. I am in the military and I have live in Washington, Southern California, Virginia and Europe and when I say they are by far the best they truly are the best in my opinion. The technicians are honest specifically Justin and his team. My sons car broke down in Visalia and we live in lemoore. We left the vehicle overnight and Justin made sure to get his car fixed the next day. They truly have excellent customer service. The repair they made worked fine for a few weeks but the parts they installed failed and this service station agreed to fix the car at no charge as part of their limited warranty. Took my car in to get some work done they had to keep it for 2 days after picking it up in the evening I noticed the next morning there was a crack at the bottom of my windshield,I called Firestone and they took pictures and told me they would send it to their claims department and basically told me it's my responsibility to look at my car before driving away to make sure there were no damages. I have been here twice in the last 6 months for two different issues and both times were exceptional. Today I had went because I needed new tires for my Nissan Juke. I went with the Toyo's after some online research. They didn't try to up sell me on anything, but they did go ahead and see if there were any better deals that I might have overlooked which I appreciated. They did a full inspection on my vehicle and recommended some services that i may want to take care of today. I went ahead and also took a alignment since they had already checked it and they bundled a deal with my tire purchase. Justin and Steven were both quite helpful and even got me some new wiper blades while I was there. They were very courteous and weren't sharks and were just there to make sure I was taken care of without trying to get me to empty my wallet. I've gotten three sets of tires on two separate vehicles the current issue was on my wife's car I have them replace two front tires and ask them to put one of the good tires on the spare in the trunk (This was 3 weeks ago). So my wife picks up the car the next day and ask them if they put the tire on the spare they said he would look cane back and said yes. A couple of days later she goes shopping open the truck and the tire is literally sitting in there. So I called and told them they told me to come in they would put it on so when I get there I tell them the issue they look up the work order and they said that in the work order it said put in trunk. They told me that they would put it on but they would have to charge me and I said I'm a pretty loyal customer to you guys I even have the lifetime alignment on this car and then I do all my shopping she told me it was company policy and it was on the paperwork and I asked her I talk to you on the phone and you said you put it on with no charge I will not buy any more tires from them but I will get my lifetime alignment through them because I already paid for it. Took the car to big Brand tires and Tulare and they put the tire on for free then I bought new tires for my truck read more

We have been getting our tires at one specific Firestone dealer for over 10 years. This time, I got our replacement tire recommendation and estimate from our dealer, then made a few calls to price shop. I was very impressed with Justin, the store manager here. He asked why I was interested in that tire (I did not alert him that it was a recommendation from our normal shop) and we talked about another tire that will produce better wear, and is a better tire. He gave me his quote over the phone. When I called back to our normal dealer to see what our price would be for the same tire, their quote was nearly $200 more. I asked if this is the best you can do, and they said yes. I bought our 4 tires from Justin and received a $100 Visa rebate for the purchase! He has earned our repeat business! read more

I was coming home from Los Angeles, my car started to overheat. I called roadside assistance and had my car towed from Pixley to this location. We dropped my car off about an hour before the shop closed and I was told that it'd be looked at and worked on first thing today. They called me first thing in the morning and cut me a little bit of a deal. So push forward to a little later I get another call with more bad news. There was more damage than we had initially thought. Justin was amazing and told me that he'd help me out as much as possible and while it was a lot more expensive than I had hoped it would have cost, my car got repaired by the end of today. I drove back to Visalia from Fresno, gave the company a call and thankfully they were willing to stay past their closing time so I could get my car back!!! I've always took my autos to Firestone for work. This location was a new experience for me when dealing with Firestone. After getting my tires rotated, I was told I needed my brakes and rooters replaced. After the price they quoted me I decided to hold off... several months later (10 in fact), I took my auto to a different Firestone, to have the rooters replaced. After they did the inspection, they informed me that my rooters did NOT need replaced and even they were not sure what (Visalia) was telling me and why they said I need new rooters, which they were able to see the notes in the system from the Visalia store. I won't take my vehicles back to this location, only because I now don't trust them... hopefully others have a better experiance. read more

Took my car in because it was jerking and wanting to veer right when I drove. I took the car in and they told me they would inspect the car. Was called a couple hours later and told my cv front axels needed replacing. I said ok at a cost of 800 plus dollars. Was called a few hours after that and they said my car was ready. Went and picked up my car, drove it out of the parking lot and the car is worse then what it wa when i took it there. I immediately turned around and took the car back. I told them the problem is still there only worse. The manager refused to look at my car. Went on to list other things wrong such as he said I needed new brakes even though they had just had those done. They mentioned other things that wete also not true. None of the things they mentioned would of caused my current problem anyway. The car could not be controled. They scammed me out of 800 dollars. Talked to me like I was stupud. They had the reginal manager call me who without telling me had the firestone manager listen in on our conversation. He of course wpuld also not listen to me. I will be talking to a lawyer because they had me drive a very unsafe car home. They are scammers. Save yourself a thousand dollars and pissibly ypur life and don't ever go there. read more
