I can't say enough about this shop .. so a few years ago I was putting on solenoid on my polaris…read moreranger and sparks were flying and I called them up, and of course, I crossed the wire, and they walked me through it and I fixed it .. so when I needed to look for some tires, a couple weeks ago, I remembered these guys and I called them up, and that's how i've been reconnected with them these last couple weeks and I just can't say enough about them. It's nice to work with a place; a person like Josh and his helper, that's just downright honest and good at what they do! So I needed tires for my 2013 polaris ranger a couple weeks ago, my rear ones were so bad they wouldn't hold air .. I use this daily on my property with my horses, it was going to be at least three or four days before I could get some brand new ones in so I called down there and josh had a couple used ones, got them really cheap (thank you) took my wheels over to the tire shop, and they put them on ... so then I needed to get oil changes on my polaris ranger utv and my suzuki atv, so when I got the tires from josh, I talked to him about the oil changes, and I took those down a couple days later and got that done and he did an inspection on everything while down for an oil change .. So I told him to give me a couple weeks and I could get everything back in and get these repairs done that needed to be done on my polaris ranger .. so while there he found me a used seat for my suzuki, because mine is pretty torn up .. THANK YOU!! So when my house sells and before I move to washington state, my ranger is really not outfitted for cold weather, like I don't have doors or windshield or anything like that. So before I leave, i'm going to make sure josh takes care of my ranger and gets me set up for the colder weather... closed in ranger, snow plow, winch ect .. maybe even go a little crazy and get a heater .. If you're looking for honest reliable shop, this is the place you will not go wrong, they are extremely honest, they're good at what they do .. they aren't overpriced like the dealer, I used to go to go to temecula motorsports where i bought both vehilces, ohh, my god, it would take weeks to get in and you'd get charged a couple hundred bucks just to do an oil change, and then they jack stuff up .. Ultimate performance is a great shop, they have great prices and just good people, good honest people, I try to support local, honest, hardworking, independent business owners like these guys and these guys are awesome .. thanks again Josh !

And you have to understand that sometimes jobs ahead of you dovetail into more work than expected....so you're job may get pushed back a little but not much. Jeff also does hands on work on the bikes as well as run the front. That in itself raises my confidence level. Good shop and they definitely put the customer first over shredding your wallet.

Charged us double what they charged another customer for a diagnostic fee. "David" has threatened to sue my son for $10,000 at least twice. Word gets around, however you want to respond. This is not a legitimate shop and I would never do business with them. Good luck getting your bike registered if you buy one there.

Had to have my husband's 2021 Street Bob towed in here after a wreck on 2/7. We called Chad ahead…read moreof time while we waited for a final answer from insurance as to if it was a repair or a total loss. Chad told us he could take it no problem. Insurance came out on 2/19 and told us we could take it to a shop. We called Chad and confirmed it would be in on the following Tuesday, to which he told us he was waiting and ready for it. On 2/24 we finally got it towed in there. Chad anticipated that we would have the bike back in 3-4 weeks. (Which was incredible since the first accident 9/2022, Harley Davidson had the bike for 7 months). Chad confirmed the first check from insurance came in on 3/3. He immediately got to work on the bike and by early afternoon already had the supplemental over to insurance. Chad was very open and honest about everything as well as expected timelines. My husband spoke to him 3/17 and Chad confirmed they were still waiting on parts, but the bike would more than likely be ready for pick up on Saturday 3/21. However, knowing that my husband rode this bike 113 miles one way for work three times a week, and with the rising gas prices, Chad worked some magic and by 3pm on Thursday 3/19 he was calling to let us know the bike was ready for pick up. Most of the time was spent waiting on insurance, money and parts to arrive. The bike looks amazing and we are so appreciate of Chad & Back Alley for getting this done so quickly! We will definitely be back!

I own a 2015 CVO Street Glide, had noise coming from the transmission, now I did some work on the internet to what the cause could be and found out the same info it was either the lifters or compensator. So I went down to see Don .and Ben, they heard the noise as soon I pulled in and told me I had a problem with the compensator or a problem with the lifters, I set up a appointment and I was there to watch Don pull the compensator and inspect it we found zero damage to it. He then started the bike and still had the noise and we determined that we need to inspect the lifters, as soon as the cover was removed we found a piece of metal and we expected the lifter was damaged. Don inspected the oil pump and all of the internals and we found heavy wear on all parts, he recommended replacing the parts with S&S products and not HD parts which I agreeded with. What really got me pissed off is that my bike only has 15,500 miles and was always serviced. I was at the shop about 70% of the time and he has a great group of guys from he's service crew to Ben and Sam working the front desk. Price was fair and no B/S like you get at the HD of Temecula. I work on oil rigs and OSV's in the Gulf of Mexico and have a good mechanical knowledge of engines and would have liked to do the work myself but not home long enough, I have known Don and Ben for a while and know I can trust them with there work and there knowlege of HD's. American V Twin treated me fair and had respect for my bike, communication between the shop and myself was great. I will recommend them to anyone when asked who services your bike. read more

Searching for that special someone to "care of your HOG". Well your search is over. 5 stars squared is a better way to describe this shop. From simple oil changes to full blown wheelie pulling, tire shredding performance upgrades they do it all. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Labor rates are extremely reasonable. My experience at American V-Twin: My riding partner went with a HD stage 4 117 at the HD shop for his 2018 softail. Subsequent dyno provided him just under 120 HP and Torque. I purchased a 2019 Street Glide Special. Stock it couldn't get out of its own way. I too considered a stage 4 but after consulting with the staff at American V-Twin, went with the S&S 128 Kit and gained approx. 50% increase in HP and torque. I now have 143 torque and can pull stumps. I literally rocket around cars when passing. Needless to say, my bro dumped the HD 117 for the S&S 128ci upgrade and had it installed by the same fine people at American V-Twin. And finally a shoutout to KIWI (951) 901-9898 for the excellent DYNO services. read more

Aaron Wallo was awsome from the minute i walked in i felt good about checking out this dyna he set me up with , also meet Don Biron the owner of the shop and Ryan Burns, Ernie Groom the mechanics, it realy blew my mind the knowledge going around in this place . Bought 2010 FatBob from these guys a few months back with pretty low mileage and in Awesome Condition.. I have had nothing but great experiences since.. Great guidance for the performance minded.. Have returned multiple times for performance upgrades and parts like Vance & Hines exhaust & Tuning, tires, complete suspension front & rear.. Better and better the Fatboy got.. With great pricing.. I've known Don for at least 7 years now when he first serviced and tricked out my Harley. He and his mechanics don't just make customers, they make friends. Always fair in pricing, gives you his best opinion and the turn around is reasonable. Then again, don't rush someone when they are doing good job. Believe me, this shop will give you your bike back when THEY are satisfied with the results and you will be too. Whether servicing or upgrading your ride, you won't go wrong with them. I haven't purchased from them but have seen their prices and they are very fair. read more

I recently purchased a beautiful Harley Road King Classic from American V-Twin. Throughout the entire process, I was treated with courtesy and respect. We made a deal that was fair to both of us. I thought the front tire should be replaced, and Don put a brand new tire on it. After I took it home, it seemed that the fuel gauge was not accurate. Don replaced the entire fuel sending unit at his cost. Don is an honorable guy. His word it golden. He is all about doing the right thing. I just wish I had found this place years ago. read more

Purchased a 2011 heritage softail classic. Very clean, low miles, great price. Don was very patient with me throughout the whole process. Took off the saddle bags free of charge. Bike needed a few adjustments according to the delivery guy but other then that very pleased with my 1st bike. Your establishment is so deceptive. No signage or posted info for returns, legitimate returns are handled at the whim of the person in charge. Almost every parts house on earth allows for returns of unopened items. I will make it my mission to find ways to take business away from you. They're probably $20 an hour cheaper than HD. My bike is never my main transportation so I'm not in a hurry. And you have to understand that sometimes jobs ahead of you dovetail into more work than expected....so you're job may get pushed back a little but not much. Jeff also does hands on work on the bikes as well as run the front. That in itself raises my confidence level. Good shop and they definitely put the customer first over shredding your wallet.

If not I told them I can get the bike as is and bring it back after. Get a call. They did all of it just in time to make sure the bike was set up and ready for my trip. They basically front lined my bike to make sure it was ready and safe for my trip. I respect that because I never expected that from them. I understood I mismanaged my time. But they still took care of me. That being said every worker I've spoken to during this was beyond respectful and overly eager to help. Solid team running this place. We called Chad ahead…read moreof time while we waited for a final answer from insurance as to if it was a repair or a total loss. Chad told us he could take it no problem. Insurance came out on 2/19 and told us we could take it to a shop. We called Chad and confirmed it would be in on the following Tuesday, to which he told us he was waiting and ready for it. On 2/24 we finally got it towed in there. Chad anticipated that we would have the bike back in 3-4 weeks. (Which was incredible since the first accident 9/2022, Harley Davidson had the bike for 7 months). Chad confirmed the first check from insurance came in on 3/3. He immediately got to work on the bike and by early afternoon already had the supplemental over to insurance. Chad was very open and honest about everything as well as expected timelines. My husband spoke to him 3/17 and Chad confirmed they were still waiting on parts, but the bike would more than likely be ready for pick up on Saturday 3/21. However, knowing that my husband rode this bike 113 miles one way for work three times a week, and with the rising gas prices, Chad worked some magic and by 3pm on Thursday 3/19 he was calling to let us know the bike was ready for pick up. Most of the time was spent waiting on insurance, money and parts to arrive. The bike looks amazing and we are so appreciate of Chad & Back Alley for getting this done so quickly! We will definitely be back!
