They were supposed to arrive between 8:30 and 9:30 and they were promptly here at 8:30 maybe even a few minutes early. During this pandemic, everyone wore a mask, even in the heat. Prior to choosing American Vision, my husband and I searched and interviewed many window establishments. From the get go, the sales man from American Vision Windows in Orange, Craig Giras, was incredible!!! He explained everything to me initially and was happy to explain all the options again to my husband. We were especially concerned because we were replacing all our windows in our home and Craig understood our fears and thoroughly explained everything, over and over again!! At night and on the weekends Craig was there for us!! But every step of the way, the professionalism and courteousness throughout the entire organization has been incredible!!! The administrative people at the Simi Valley store (Julie), the measurer, and the installers were amazing!! Everyone did everything to accommodate our needs!! And literally through out the process, and during the day of the installation, Craig was checking in and available for any questions we had. We literally called him the day before the installation, on a Sunday evening, and he happily addressed all our questions. My husband and I were blown away with his customer service!!! Also, the entire installation crew was incredible!! Jose, Willey, Robert, Ron, Emidio and John. They arrived on time and introduced themselves. They were extremely professional and meticulous!! So much that there were areas by my windows that were dirty prior to the installation. After the the windows were installed, the area was cleaner than they had been from the beginning. All the men were very professional and very patient. I have 2 dogs and they were sensitive to their needs (my dogs rule my home). At the end of the installation the crew chief and a couple of the installers went over every window (all 23) to show us how to use them. Such patience and professionalism. Having the installers, Willey, Jose, Robert, Emidio, Ron and John in our home all day went went rather well. They made sure everything was covered and protected and treated our home like it was theirs. My husband and I are thrilled with the windows and the professionalism from the entire organization. We have never been exposed to such kindness and professionalism from an organization. Even at the end, Craig, and the installers as well, reminded us that if anything shoud arise, even 5 years down the road, to please call American Vision because there is a lifetime warranty (including transferring the warranty to new owners if we sell our home). And although we have only had the windows for a couple of hours, we can tell the difference in the noise reduction. Our bedroom faces the street and we usually hear people when they walk by our home. We just had all of our windows replaced in our home with Anlin windows by American Vision Windows. The old windows were from the original builder in 1996 and needed to be replaced. The entire process from the initial meeting with the Jesse (Sales), to the followup by Ryan (Installation Coordinator), to the installation, was all handled in a very informative and professional manner. The installation crew (Jesus, Raul, Juan, Andres, Edy, Primo, Vinse, & Sesor) showed up at the scheduled time and got right to work. Despite a pretty good rain throughout the day, they were all very focused on getting the job done, and done right. The entire installation of 28 windows only took about 6 hours! 5 stars well deserved for Craig and his team at American Vision Windows installing my new custom Anlin windows and doors. Made right here in the US of A, these windows couldn't make me more proud! Craig was very good to explain everything from the beginning, no surprises like there always seems to be with any construction. Any possible hiccups with permits, issues they might find with how the previous windows were installed, all was easy to understand. He also helped us get approved for the Hero program which helped tremendously with financing. The team arrived exactly on time, a friendly crew of 6 showed for my mediocre sized job (8 windows, 1 slider, 1 french door). Most other companies I would expect one or two guys to show up. They got right to it, protecting all my furniture and flooring around each area and began a neat an quick demo. They worked methodically, carefully and quick, communicating with each other along the way. Everyone was courteous, smiled and 100% capable. At no point did I ever have to question if they knew what they were doing. From the day Craig came for the estimate to the windows being made to permits being pulled to day of install, I found American Vision Windows to be like none other in that they kept me in the loop every step. They want you to be involved and part of the process. The owners of the company send you kind and informative videos keeping you up to date as well. We purchased our windows from American Vision Windows back in November 2018. We are not happy with one window. The window frame above the front door does not look the same as the original window. The design changed and looks cheap like they used left-over material and doesn't align up evenly. Sergio came out to inspect the window and try and solve the problem. However, he said that was the best that they could do with the window and could not make any better. He tried to solve the problem by sending us a $50 Visa gift card to buy dinner for 2. By the way we also had informed him that when the installers came out, they walked throughout the house without putting any tarps on the floor or putting on booties the whole day, leaving our floors in a mess. We also noticed in the instructions not to use razor blades to get foreign materials off of the glass, (my wife told them this) they used razor blades anyway. Dear Bill & Kathleen, You guys used to be in my shoes and that's why you decided to start your own business to install windows. To help customers have good quality and cost. How would you feel if you were in my situation? We spent over 10 grand which we saved over a year, only to be dissatisfied with our experience with your company. read more

We had 4 windows and 2 large sliding glass doors to install. The first crew did a great job installing them, but we quickly learned that we had uneven floors, so it took another 3 weeks for another crew to come out and make them even, so that the doors would be flush. Jesse and Jose were part of that second crew and did a great job for two days worth of work. It was quite a job and they rose to the occasion. If you're looking for great quality windows and professional installation then you've come to the right business. I have difficult windows that's are not the standard rectangular size to do retro fits. I've tried for 2 years to get quality windows installed but most places either wouldn't even come out or don't come back after seeing the project. AVW is different than most window businesses in that they do new construction also. As a result, they can tackle any challenge. My 20 window replacements took 2 days and 3 crews to complete. They spent a whole day just to install a difficult sloping set of patio French doors. This required trimming away parts of an old rotten frame but whatever they took away, they replaced with new better trim. I had a minor issue a few days later and they offered to come out immediately to resolve the issue. They have a huge staff of friendly employees that will make the whole process painless. From the start with a no pressure quote to a professional installation crew, they are the creme of the crop when it comes to window installation. I'm very pleased with the outcome and wouldn't hesitate to use them again. read more

We are doing a full house remodel and windows are a big part of it. We wanted Anlin windows and American Vision is the dealer for our area. Sales - Steve was the sales rep who came to the house. His presentation was thorough with examples and explanations of Anlin's features. We were a bit put off by the "sign now for this price" tactic. Had this been a car dealer I would have walked but American Vision is the only dealer in our area. Install- The crew arrived on time and went right to work. Cory, Carlos, Jason, and Eric treated our house like their own. All were professional and courteous in their work and interactions with myself as well as the other trades working at the house. The install of almost 30 windows took 2 days and looks fantastic. They cleaned up after each day and and made sure all of our questions and concerns were addressed. In the end, Cory did an inspection/walkthrough with me and explained the functions of each window. Product - We wanted Anlin windows based on our research and reviews we read. Windows are a huge investment and have a huge impact on the the look and function of your house. These windows did not disappoint. I love the look, features, and function of these windows. If you're looking at windows get several bids. Just make sure to have American Vision on your list. They're not the cheapest but I truly feel you get what you pay for. Jose & Jesse did an excellent job. We had a one day delay because the shower pan we selected was broken when they unwrapped it. They talked us in to a different style that they had in stock, as they said it was a better quality, so we decided to accept that. The manager gave us a slight discount because of this issue, which was appreciated. Overall we are happy with the finished product, however, Kim the salesman did not point out a lot of different features that were available, which was very disappointing. read more

I have had 2 prior experiences with this company that were positive and I even recommend the company frequently, but today was not good. I came home to find that the workers had been working in my home maskless- my 19 year old son confirmed that. They also misplaced my recycling bin and now I have to wait 3 weeks for a replacement from the trash company. I am very upset to have strangers come into my home and not follow the public health guidelines. I will think twice before using them again or recommending them. LIARS!!! they are great at taking your money but bad at warranty work. the salesman repeatedly told me the glass had a lifetime warranty. Update they sent out a crew to replace the glass in my windows to be code compliant and sent out the most unqualified team of people to do it. They chewed into the vinyl surround leaving gouges everywhere. I finally halted the job when I saw what was happening. I have no clue how this can be repaired now as these are retrofit surrounds. When the crew found out we were cancelling the job they left broken glass all over my driveway and installed two broken windows in my room and just left them taped up and said just don't open them. They just didn't care anymore it was cold outside and they wanted to go. Also the back gate they opened they forgot to shut so my old senile deaf and blind dog nearly wandered out into the street luckily I caught him in time. The crew was so lazy they were cutting the window parts out on my bare carpet. And they were all using my bathroom without even asking! Normally it wouldn't be a big deal but during covid at least ask! I'm so infuriated with this company. What a rip off $10500 of my savings down the drain. I don't think they even have anyone on board capable of fixing the damage these guys did. read more

I had five new windows installed. The entire process was done right. Started with a gentleman who came out and did the bid, followed by someone who precisely measured my windows. Danny and his team were prompt and ready to go on install day. The install team was professional and efficient. I had extensive wood rot so this was not an easy job, at least in my mind. Since each window is custom built, it did take about eight weeks total time from bid to install, but so worth the wait. The price was competitive, the service was outstanding, and I love my new windows! Best of all, Bill and Kathleen deliver on good old fashioned American quality and Service! Amazing company and service I've owned my 1926 Spanish home for 20 years and have hired countless companies for various jobs and renovations. By far and away, American Vision Windows is leaps and bounds ahead of all the others in terms of service, knowledge, honesty, quality and ease of experience. And this says a lot when you are ripping out decades old windows and doing retrofits with stucco. If every company I dealt with were like them, home ownership would be an entirely different and easy task! Specifically, my excellent experience from start to finish was due to the very capable oversight of Tim Hess. Tim came out to see what I was needing (and oversaw the entire project ), and having been an installer and building inspector himself prior, was the only person of 6 other companies that actually knew and properly recommended what window would properly fit in my home. (Without sticking out past the existing inside molding) 5 other companies were actually incorrect trying to seek me Milgard-- which would not have fit. Other companies didn't know the proper specs of the different window lines they carried or the proper installation procedures. AVW runs like a well oiled machine. Kudos to the owners who really care about customer service, and their employees. From start to finish, everyone took care of their part in the project with great integrity. From the scrupulous measuring of Christian who treated it like it was his own home, and forman Javier, to Sergio and Blair in service for touch ups, the experience all the way through was great and final product fantastic. Not to mention, their price was the most reasonable if anyone without the typical sales games-- this was so much appreciated. Again, all this due to Tom Hess's unwavering attention and overseeing of my project, and his amazing knowledge and care he took to make sure every aspect of the project was perfect. We had a great experience with American Vision Windows from start to finish. Our salesman, Robert, answered all of our questions, and ultimately we decided to replace all of our windows and two sliding glass doors. Some were more simple replacements while others involved resizing windows to bring them up to code for egress. Isidoro, Isidoro Jr, John, Hugo, Andrew and Jose finished their work in just two days, cleaning up after themselves each day. Their work was so well executed, that the city inspector even commented to my husband on what a nice job they did! Hello all Im being very generous to rate American vision windows with one star. They do not stand behind their product and the installation. My experience is this: I had a complete new window installation of all the windows in my home located in Hermosa Beach Ca. 90254, a total of approximately 14 windows. These windows I was told were of premium quality the highest line of their window products. Shortly after the expiration of my warranty one window started leaking water inside my home which was a direct result of the window seal not being adequate or the window product expanding and contracting over time. I expected to have no issue when I brought this issue to the attention of American Vision, to my surprise I was informed it would cost me Approximately $150.00 for a technician to come out and resolve the issue. I submitted to the arrangement knowing I could not afford to have rain damage during the next rainy season or one day of rain, due to the severity of the leak. The technician came out and supposedly repaired the leak by resealing the window. To my dismay the next rainy day caused more damage to my interior as a result of the leak not being fully repaired. I called American vision windows again and they informed me they would not be coming out again because there was nothing they could do to resolve the problem. Im very disappointed to say the least considering they're insincere advertising about product and service satisfaction. I am a licensed Contractor in the state of California and I had a competitor come out as well to inspect the window. We both agreed in our professional opinion the work was substandard and that is why the leak occurred. I don't trust American Vision Windows. BEWARE!!!! read more
