Very disappointed. Max, the manager, is very aggressive and argues as if he is right all the time. He does not listen to customers and does not offer a sincere apology. I made an appointment, and they completely stood me up. Later, they claimed they tried to call me or left a voicemail to change the appointment, which is not true. They never called or left any message. I have documentation as evidence, but I chose not to continue the conversation because Max kept defending himself and arguing instead of trying to resolve the issue. They also had my mailing address incorrect. I spoke with Max the day before my appointment to correct it, yet there were still multiple errors. Overall, the business seems very unorganized. The receptionist told me Max was in the office, so I was surprised when Max later claimed my appointment was with a different representative. This inconsistency felt very unprofessional and questionable. I took time out of my day for this appointment, and it is extremely rude and unprofessional that they never showed up. I do not recommend doing business with this company. There are many other businesses that provide much better customer service. read more

Purchased Milgard Trinsic Windows and sliding doors. In black frames. Have gotten lots of compliments on how great the windows look from neighbors. (get black frames trust me.) Looking back at pics of my old windows i can't believe how gross they looked I went with TMC after getting 3 estimates from different companies. Best deals with quality and different options were from TMC. Great service all the way from salesman to installers. Steve (salesman) was very informative and answered all my questions and explained the process. On Installation day Jason and Gabriel were very clean and professional . was amazed with their skills and professionalism. Hi took me awhile to post this on yelp. I have a problem with this company. I initially spoke to Donald and I sent him these pictures via email but for some reason I wasn't getting through because the woman named Amy wouldn't let me talk to him or the owner and then she blocked me and my email. I was really upset that I just gave up. I didn't think about Yelp at that time. This time I'm looking to replace my 2 doors and this company came across my mind and my frustration started all over again. Here I am putting on Yelp. The reason i found out that the window outside wasn't sealed because i called Milgard and complained to them about my window. They came out and told me that it wasn't sealed above. They told me to call the installer but I got a rude receptionist. This is a follow-up review from October. The service was excellent. But here's the kicker: the Milgard windows are saving us money. Over the last week, as temperatures have spiked, including today, we have NOT had to turn on our AC. Not once. We have shutters, which help, but the main credit goes to Milgard and TMC. 90* outside; our thermostat read 72*. Bonus: it's much quieter inside. We can effectively negate the noise from neighbors, cars, etc. Worth the money. We had a financing arrangement that saved us from paying the full cost upfront; the loan will be paid off in early April. read more

We'd paid 8K for double entry doors and are very disappointed. First, they put the peephole in the middle of the inactive door (far to the side of where anyone would be standing), and at a height of 61", making it unable to use for the average height American women, and for the average height male under the age of 15. We really need a properly placed peephole, but don't want the look of a second peephole on brand new, $8,000 doors! The doors were damaged during installation. I was told they would bring touch up paint for us to fix it today. (See pics) They installed the door hardware upside-down on the inactive door, and it looks terrible. It is uneven. (See pics) If TMC fixes these defects I'll be happy to update my review. read more

They offered expert advice on the best type of windows and doors for each area of the house. And the install, including stucco repair, was solid. Afterwards, they stepped up quickly to address the normal items that come up after an install. The only negative was that the stucco repair caused quite a mess. Could have been better tarped. I don't think I can't accurately convey what my neighbor and I have been through in the last two years. The prior owner had retrofit windows installed and they RIPPED OUT THE FRAMES. (If you don't know, that is really bad and damages the waterproofing). Mix in that the upstairs neighbor had improperly installed retro fit window + a 70 year old building + a wet winter and ta da! You have a three story wet nightmare. It took a lot of calls to find TMC. I don't know what I did in my last life to deserve finding them, but thank goodness. They have been with me through thick and thin to get my windows installed. They always stayed in contact. Everyone from Max in the Office, to Carlos the Owner, and Angel and Donald in the field has been kind, understanding, and relentlessly professional. The windows were finally installed today on 3 floors of my building. Their install team did such a meticulous job and they stayed until everything was done. They are a well oiled machine. The owner Carlos came to check on the job. Angel called me immediately when I had questions, and the lead installer (I am so sorry the lead guy's name is escaping me! It's been a long day!) was available and happy to answer my questions. TMC is going to go out of their way to come back to wrap our windows to protect them from the stucco removal because the stucco guys screwed up their part. They also recaulked my other windows that they didn't install as a courtesy. As a person that has been living a window nightmare for 2 years and who has dealt with a cast of contractors, I cannot say enough great things about TMC. If you made it this far in my review, you should've called them already. You are making a mistake if you call some jabroni you googled to install your windows and doors. We had TMC replace 14 windows in our house, the sales rep and initial service was good so we went ahead and ordered the windows. Once they were ready to be installed, a different company (subcontractor) showed up to our house to do the installation instead of TMC. No one from TMC notified us that this would be the case and no one from TMC came to our house during the installation process. The majority of the installation went fine but on the last day it felt like the crew was rushing to finish the job and when they left we noticed that several windows had not been completely screwed in, were not sealed with insulation foam and had shims left sticking out. They also did not cut back some of the walls completely so that they would be ready for us to do drywall returns. When TMC came out to hear my concerns that the windows were not drywall ready they assured me that they were. When I had them speak to my husband and he explained the same concerns they suddenly agreed and fixed the problem. Overall the job got done but the lack of communication, transparency, and follow through was a lot less than I expected and I feel like we could have saved money going with someone else who wasn't subcontracting the work to another vendor. EDIT: Angel, the project manager from TMC, was not onsite during the installation process and did not oversee the work being done. All of my day to day communication was with the foreman for the subcontractor. The first time I met Angel was after the job was finished and he came out to address our issues. read more

When we first purchased our home we knew we eventually wanted to replace our front double doors. Given the significant expense, this project took a back seat to others for a few years. Once we made the decision to move forward, I did tons of research on materials, styles, and pricing. I sought multiple quotes from various suppliers. When I reached out to TMC, Mike promptly responded and came to our home to take measurements and give us a comprehensive presentation of the products they offered. TMC was the only company that was able to source the exact style and finish that I wanted. Fortunately their pricing was also competitive. Mike was realistic with me about the expected timeline between placing the order and installation. The installers were efficient, cautious not to damage our walls or doorway, and tidied up after they were done. After installation, I realized that the original door I ordered didn't come fitted for a double handset, one for each door. I reached out to Mike and he sent Terry out to see how we could address this. Terry was so helpful and knowledgeable. He told me he could make the necessary adjustments to allow for another handset. He also told me exactly what I needed to order. I did so and Terry came out again to install the second handset. He did such a fantastic job that I realized the other handset was VERY SLIGHTLY crooked. It was so minimal that I didn't even reach out to Mike about it. It just so happened that he texted to ask how the doors were. I mentioned the issue and sent him some photos. He immediately scheduled Angel to come out to make the fix. Angel not only fixed the handset but he even fixed a tiny chip in the door finish that I hadn't even noticed and left us the paint so that we could do any additions touch ups as needed. I went to TMC thinking my window was broke, and I'd have to replace it (figured it would be fairly expensive). Right when I walked in the door I met Tanya, who was super nice! She let me know I probably didn't have to replace the window (after I described what was wrong), but rather just the "window balancers" on the window. Total cost for those, about $15. Made the purchase and they would be FedEx'd to the office & Tonya would call me. Got the call the day she estimated they would arrive & I picked up package next day. On Tonya's instructions I watched a couple of YouTube videos on replacing window balancers, & I had job done in about 25 mins (including cleaning window & window jam/frame). Tonya & TMC was awesome! We are so disappointed with the service we received from this business. We needed to replace four large (7' x 7') windows. Don came out within a couple of days to measure, was very friendly and professional, and promised an estimate within a few days. Over a week later, we had heard nothing, so we contacted Don, and within a few more days they sent us the estimate for four Andersen window products. Since this was a not-insignificant ($30k) purchase, we visited their showroom in Orange, where no one seemed to know anything. The office people said they had not been trained on Andersen windows, and they could not find any product in the showroom like the one on our quote. We contacted our salesperson, and we figured out they had quoted the wrong product. Our salesman promised a revised quote. Several weeks went by and we heard nothing. We contacted our salesperson several more times, and he finally responded, saying he was out of town but would be back in a few days, and in the meantime, he would send someone (Carlos) to re-measure and bring a sample product. That was more than two weeks ago. We have texted him numerous times since then, but he has ghosted us. We have now wasted nearly six weeks dealing with this company that clearly does not want our business. I just wish they had not strung us along so we could have found a professional window company that was willing to follow through. read more
