    Sweet puppy greeter :)

The best thing an about this winery was the chocolate lab sleeping right inside the door. The barn was cool, and the labels and names of the wine were intriguing, but the tastes were not to our liking. You got a nibble of fudge that tasted more like powdered sugar than fudge.

Drove up here on a Saturday afternoon for a quick drink and maybe a bite to eat. Absolutely no one inside as their cafe was closed for the day, so made use of all the seating on the second level. Wanted to warm up with a glass of red wine ($6 each) which was unfortunately served very cold. Overall strong and leaning to the sweeter side. They also have some goods for sale: ranging from fudge (good), to mulled wine kits (not as good). Atmosphere picked up later in the day as we were leaving; would probably be best to try some of the beers as well.

We loved almost everything about this winery! Great wines, adorable place, great selection! We will definitely be back!

A great taste of wine at this place. Very accommodating for our all over the place group. The woman running the tasting was a little harsh with attitude but we tried to brush it off since everyone else was so incredibly nice. There is a very cool tap room through the wine cellar and down the stairs so be sure to check that out when you come and visit. Sweet Rosie and Barn Raisin Red were our favorite wines!

Great tasting room and friendly staff. We were greeted by Randy before we entered the winery. Had a nice tasting with Robin was who was also very knowledgeable about the wines and grapes from the area. Got to see a band play out back during the visit. Great time!

Wow, I did not like Americana AT ALL. If I could give this winery ZERO stars, I would. I know, harsh, right? Total deserved, trust me. The vibe at the winery from the second we pulled in was just bad. With loads of limousines and party buses, loud music, pro-bro frat boys and squealing sorority gurrrrls, it felt more like the set of The Bachelorette or MTV Spring Break. It just got worse inside. The noise level in the wine tasting area was deafening and the person pouring our wine seemed to not care very much about the wine, the winery or just about anything else that day. The wines were forgettable and for some inexplicable reason they were also selling lemonade at the wine tasting area, which required our "hostess" to pull double duty pouring lemonade in-between our tastings. The final straw was when I left to get some Ibuprofen from the car (the Americana atmosphere gave my wife an instant migrane) and returned to find that a large group had arrived at the tasting station and took over the entire tasting area before we could finish our last tasting. Brutal. I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN. EVER.

Came here for lunch and to do the wine tasting. There was a 25/30 minute wait for our table so we did the wine tasting first. At $3 a person for a tasting of 6 wines that's a steal! All of the wines were good from the white, blush, red and to even the dessert ones! They even serve slushie wine for $15, but one slushie contains "3 glasses of wine." The wine tasting area also had sampling of their homemade fudge and spreads. Downstairs has a beer tasting which I didn't participate in. Now onto the food, we ordered the kimchi fries, prob belly sandwich, and lamb burger. The Kim chi fries were so good! It was my first time having kimchi, but the cheese and brisket that was paired with the fries made it delicious. The kimchi is made in house. The pork belly sandwich was tender and paired well with the jam they had in the sandwich. I enjoyed the bread that the pork belly sandwich was on. The lamb burger was a decent portion and had a lamb taste. Server was super friendly!

    Yum!

Also hosts a pretty spectacular view looking out at Cayuga lake. Randy, the older gentleman that tends to the place is a fantastic human being. Very kind, welcoming, knowledgeable and great to converse with. He is the shining star and reason people will return/give good feedback. The bad: The Owner (Mark). I saw mention in a previous review that he may be on some sort of epilepsy medication that makes him act "off". Not sure I buy that excuse at all. He appears to be heavily intoxicated or on some sort of drug. Conversations with him were awkward, impossible to follow, and just plain uncomfortable. The comment he made about comparing his ex-wife to a dog was the point he completely lost us. To top it all off, he started to become a bit too friendly with my wife while I walked away to use the restroom. That was the icing on the cake. While I understand his medications make him act "off", the above mentioned behavior is inexcusable, medicated or not. We also watched a large party come in and quickly leave after the owner visited their table. Frankly, if it weren't for Randy, we would have also left after interacting with the owner. Conclusion: This winery has a lot of potential and provides a really great product. Equally as important is the overall experience you provide to a patron. The experience is not a good one with Mark (the owner) in the picture. He tainted what would have been an easy 5 star review. Randy was the saving grace. As a business savvy person, I highly recommend keeping Mark as far away from customers as possible. He is a liability and will drive the business into the depths of extinction.

An absolute highlight of my trip to the Fingerlakes!…read more We were a large bachelorette party looking for an afternoon at a winery. This place was chosen for both the proximity to our Air BnB and also because it was more affordable then some of the other vineyards in the area. I will say with certainty that this place was the best part of our trip! The vineyard has a small but suitable selection of wines to taste - you can see my photo for the menu available at the time. Reservations are not taken on the weekends, but we were able to walk in with relatively no crowds. However, by the time we left, it was packed! All of us opted for a flight - which, for the prince, how could you go wrong? The staff was incredibly pleasant and attentive, and they TRULY knew their products. They weren't afraid to say, "I don't think you'll like this [based on your tastes], try this instead." In addition, they had a selection of local cheesed and meats for purchase, so we were able to have a wonderful charcuterie with our wines. After purchasing, we sat on their deck and simply enjoyed being outside with the scenic view. Truly, it looked like it was taken out of a movie - I felt like I was looking at a scenic photo in a dentist office or something, but in the best way! We are so proud to support a local business like this. If I'm ever in the area, I will be sure to add this vineyard to my stops!

Super cute spot with lots of unique cider options and great cornbread/desserts!…read more We tried the Funkhouse, Sparkling Cab Franc, Fruit of the Bloom, and Persici (in order from dry to sweet). My favorites were the Fruit of the Bloom which is infused with ginger as well as the Funkhouse. I liked how crisp the funkhouse was and I loved the ginger note in fruit of the bloom. The others were okyay too, persici was very sweet but paired nicely with the ginger hazelnut baklava which was incredible! I am allergic to pistachios, so I loved that I could eat their baklava! We also tried the cornbread with strawberry and jalapeno butter- absolutely incredible. I am from the south and have had a lot of cornbread but this truly stands out. It came out warm with a slight crunch from the crust while maintaining the perfect crumb inside. Just crumbly enough and not too try! I also really enjoyed the jalapeno and strawberry butters- you can tell they use high quality butter, they almost reminded me of goat cheese. I preferred the jalapeno butter a tad more but both were great! The exterior is beautiful- the views are very nice. I would highly recommend coming on a warm day and sitting outside. We initially sat on the balcony but moved due to the bees. The tables underneath the white tent were shaded and bee-free. Service was pretty quick- our ciders came out almost immediately. We had to wait ~10-15 minutes for the cornbread though, but I didn't mind especially given it was warm! Overall, I would highly recommend!

With its casual vibe and moderate price point, it's a stellar spot for a relaxed day date or a scenic group outing. Just roll up early since they don't take reservations!

Lunch itself, I had rather low expectations of, but the pasta with beef was actually really tasty! Nice and al dente and the vegetables were also superb! We did some more tastings after- loved the ice wine and the chardonnay (Waterfall)! Waterfall was perhaps my favorite wine (I'm partial to white wines). It was so unique! It was really interesting that they just decided to make a random icewine one year- which is likely something that would not have happened on a larger winery.
