Have you ever gone to a restaurant for the first time not expecting much but were blown away? That is what happened Wednesday evening at Americano Pie Bar. It was a special occasion and the service went out of their way to make it a memorable experience. The food was delicious and there were so many choices. I would return again without question. Let's start with our server, Jessie. He was a true gentleman. Everything you would want in a waiter. Polite, knowledgeable, and patient. He took his time to make sure we were able to have the champagne we wanted and waited for our party to make up our minds considering the many choices on this menu. He made everything perfect for this evening. Our entire family was impressed with the attention to detail he showed all of us. The food itself was mouthwatering. I ordered skirt steak and it was marinated and tasty. The chef cooked it medium rare as requested and it was a hit at our table. My daughters ordered filet mignon with pasta in a rich cream sauce with spinach and penne ala vodka. Both cooked with fresh produce and delicious. Another order was pasta Bolognese, a generous portion and very good. Then came dessert. The chef and Jessie decided to bring a specially decorated plate of delicious cake out, in order to celebrate the occasion, and surprised all of us. It was a classy gesture and one that we will always appreciate. I should also mention that there was another server working who went out of his way to offer to take our picture . I believe his name was Matt. He took several shots and offered on his own to do so. It was definitely a five star place. I can't wait to go back and try other choices from the menu but only if Jessie is working! We were spoiled. read more

So I wanted to wait till I ate americano a few times before I posted here. My reason was because the first time I ate it, it was so delicious that I said "this can't be true" . 1 time Is a coincidence. 2 times is luck. And 3 times is skill. After having americano for the 3rd time last time, it is safe to say that this place is absolutely delicious. I cannot express enough how good all of their food is. Came here with 10 people. We were seated right at our reservation time. The staff was friendly and the service was good. The specials were explained to us and all questions were answered. One of my favorite restaurants, ambiance and vibe is great. The go to dishes the prosciutto pizza, empanadas, filet mignon rigatoni and the chicken parm hero. The filet mignon rigatoni is out of this world a whole filet sliced and mixed in with a delicious sauce and pasta. The chicken parm hero is perfect sliced up and tremendous portion as is the regular chicken parm. Also love the burger and the Buffalo chicken pizza must try if you have not been before. read more

I am a frequent diner at one of my favorite establishments but I must say today has been a total shock and let down. I ordered an old fashioned drink with a higher end bourbon as did my girlfriend. So delicious that we went for another. I had about a quarters worth left and to my surprise, she made the drink in the shaker tin and began to pour it into mine and my girlfriends original glasses. I was stunned, not only did I have some of my drink left with a half melted cube BUT I have never in all my life and in any establishment experienced this. I couldn't believe this. My girlfriend would not let me say anything because she frequents the restaurant and lives in the area. We of course were charged full price for 2 more drinks when to be quite honest was at best ONE full drink. I felt the need to express my dissatisfaction in hopes this will NOT happen again. Came here for my birthday this year and it was my first time and I will definitely be coming back. The food was great I loved the short rib Mac and Cheese and Buratta the most, we also had a bunch of different pies which were equally as delicious. I must say the service could improve constantly had to ask for refills on water and our drinks when we could actually find our waitress or bus boy. Recently came here on a whim on a great recommendation. This place did not disappoint! We were sat promptly upon arrival for our reservation. Our waiter and bread followed shortly. Our waiter was knowledgeable and very friendly. Our martinis and beer on tap were perfect. We started off with the troffilini which was amazing. The stuffed pasta paired with the truffle cream sauce and thinly sliced pear was really something special. The short rib mac and cheese was also delicious. Went to celebrate my daughters birthday a week ago. First and foremost food took over an hour to come out. Closer to an hour and a half. About 30-40 mins into having placed an order notified one of our orders just sold out. I would think so if it took so long to receive our order. Second, they were out of toilet paper and soap in the bathroom. That in itself is a violation of Dept of Health. Third I witnessed the hostess walk out of the bathroom without washing (bc they were out of soap). The hostesses handle the menus. Which in turn is not hygienic. Lastly, I wrote to the restaurant twice regarding same and have not heard back. I was an avid patron but will not be back. read more

Visited Americano last night with a large group, and they were super accommodating! Service has majorly improved since the last time I ate here, about a year ago. Our waitress was fabulous- super friendly and attentive. Food is consistently delicious. This trip we did a pizza sampling. The Honey Spice Pizza was my unexpected favorite. It was the perfect balance of sweet and savory that I love, with spicy soppressata, tomatoes, mozzarella, and honey. The Big Mac Pizza was my second favorite, tasting exactly like a Big Mac with ground beef, lettuce, pickles, American cheese, and special sauce. Much better ambiance than McDonald's! The Buffalo Chicken Pizza was my least favorite, solely because it was bland. Didn't pack enough heat or flavor for me. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated. There are separate bar and dining areas, both dimly lit and chic looking. Looking forward to my next meal here! read more

2 kids, 1 picky husband and myself went for dinner tonight. Staff was so great and everything was clean and well distanced. Now, on to the food! We got baked clams, coconut shrimp and crab cakes for apps- bakes clams were outstanding. Everything else was also delicious. For dinner, 3 different pizzas and I got the lobster raviolis. I always love a good ravioli, but so many places cut corners and buy frozen garbage and serve as "fresh"...not this place. Huge pieces of lobster in each bite, the pasta was perfectly tender, the saffron sauce was well balanced and perfect to compliment the seafood. (Topped with artichoke hearts, corn and shrimp) It's nearly impossible that all 4 of us are happy with the same restaurant... this one was a winner! read more

Food is delicious. The wait staff, server are all wonderful. The girls at the check in desk are completely rude and unprofessional. I am in the restaurant business for many years and I was shocked at how they speak to patrons and carry themselves. I watched her speak awfully to someone ahead of me at the door, when is was my turn I was spoken to the same way, however - I asked for a manager and the whole tone changed. This restaurant is awesome! My boyfriend and I tried this place last week for date night. The moment we walked in, I knew we had made a great decision. The atmosphere is really cool. The place is beautifully decorated. We sat down, they had a SUPERB staff. Within moments, we had water, our waiter had greeted us and explained the specials, and someone came back around ready to refill our water again! There was always someone ready to help throughout the experience. My bf ordered the skirt steak, and I had the pasta with vodka sauce. We also ordered an order of wings as an app. THE WINGS WERE SOO GOOD. We didnt specify any style of cooking upon order, but we were pleasantly surprised when they came to the table and were perfectly crisp. Our entrees were both absolutely delicious. Legit giant clump of hair in my bread basket last night. I brought it to my waiter's attention and was given a new basket and an apology. At no point did a manager come out to say anything or attempt to rectify the situation by offering a dessert on the house or taking an appetizer off the bill. For appetizers we all enjoy the short rib Mac & cheese is absolutely delicious and so is their personal pizza with crumbled sausage.
