First off if you were to rate the location, it's really difficult to find because he would have to know where to go. So I'll let you know if you plan on visiting it's on the second floor. You have to take the escalator up and when we were there, it was not working so we had to take the stairs. Second other presentation issue is they had a banner at the Brick + Mortar which at this point you would think they would actually have a permanent sign to reflect their business especially with all the reviews that they have reading. Inside there's a lot of areas to sit and study, which is great for the kids that are going from Saddleback college. You order off the screen and everything is pretty much contactless. Although the day I went, the screen wasn't working so the barista had to work the the register. There was one barista and he was super unorganized. We waited over 25 minutes for my drink, and someone that ordered online had waited even longer. So we organization was lacking and probably at that point they were understaffed. I hear so many great reviews, but my drink was nothing to write home about. So I may try it again and perhaps this wasn't off day.
Just as good as the Fullerton location! I stopped here when I was in the area (Apple Maps makes it confusing but you can access it by parking in the lot next door and walking up to the second floor). Matcha was super tasty as always and I think a little cheaper here than the one in Fullerton (I paid on the kiosk and it was $7 for the OG iced matcha latte). It's not as strong but still has the high quality matcha. Workers were pretty quick and friendly. The inside was also very large and had lots of seating area inside and out with a good amount of wall plugs if you need to study.
I ordered a regular ice matcha latte with regular milk. The matcha had a nice earthy and bitter taste. Not overly sweet or bitter. Lots of people usually don't like matcha due to the bitter taste but this is a perfect matcha for those getting into matcha and want to pivot from the overly sweet matcha. The drink was creamy and a perfect ratio of milk, matcha and ice. The service was quite slow each time I go. this place gets busy and they only have one person making matcha and one in the kitchen so expect a wait. The ambiance is casual and they have a huge seating area so perfect for working or school! Would definitely come again to try their other drinks! They have not only matcha but also coffees and pastries!
"The pink coconut matcha drink was refreshing, creamy, and perfectly balanced. The coconut flavor blended smoothly with the matcha without being too sweet. It had a beautiful presentation and tasted just as good as it looked. A unique and delicious drink I would definitely order again!" Service was good. I visited Vivot on a Wednesday afternoon to catch up with a couple of friends. I ordered the pink coconut matcha while my friends got the mango matcha latte & hojicha einspanner--we all enjoyed our drinks. I was surprised to spot a Red Bull matcha on the menu since I've never seen it at any other matcha cafe before. I liked the layout of the cafe, & that there were indoor & outdoor seating options for both chatting with friends & getting some work done. Would definitely visit again!
This place came highly recommended! To start, the matcha was out of this world! Vibrant, flavorful, with great mouthfeel. Probably the best matcha I've had at a coffee shop. It seems like the perfect place to study or read. Some of the desserts and drinks seemed really interesting and I definitely want to give it another try. BUT the wait for 1 drink and 1 sandwich in a near empty shop was ridiculous-- at least 20 minutes, and there was no one around to check on my order. I almost walked away as I was in a hurry. My ham and cheese croissant was not as expected. It was a croissant cut open with sliced ham and cheese inside, pressed flat. So, I would like to give it another chance, but the wait, lack of service, and unimpressive food were not great.
My favorite cafe I visit almost every day for either the Strawberry or Banana Matcha, and it's always 10/10. If you enjoy a strong darker green matcha, come here...I've tried countless cafes but nothing compares. I've brought so many friends and they're obsessed too! The staff makes Vivot so special. Everyone is incredibly welcoming, sweet, and always remembers you. Service is consistently fast even when busy. Huge props to Destiny and Brandon for always making my day. Safe to say I'm a regular for a reason
We stopped by here on our trip back from Oceanside. Wanted matcha and I Yelped for a cafe and came across Vivot and decided to try! They are located in a fairly new small plaza on second floor in the same location with Hampton Inn and the car wash. There is an escalator and there is no sign like other Yelpers mentioned but it wasn't hard to find the. Go up the escalator and it's right behind the escalator when you came up. The staff were super nice and friendly! Drinks were good and they are known for their matcha, with so many options for it. We came during a power outage and they were still able to craft out excellent matcha drinks. We got the eispanner and a latter with matcha and coconut foam. Both were great and I love the fact that you can adjust sweetness. Would def recommend! Their matcha is strong.
This is my favorite matcha place!! I love getting the matcha flights to share with friends, they have so many fun flavors to try. My favorite is the ube cloud or banana cream, I do tend to like the clouds better than the fruit teas but both are great! Their sandwiches are also fantastic and fluffy, and I could live off their ube cookies. Wish I was closer and could come more often. Staff is always friendly and the line goes decently quick. Pricing is a lot better than I expected tbh, would 100% recommend!
Hands down the best matcha I've had. I would definitely come here all the time for their matcha because it's not too sweet. I tried their fruit flight matcha with oat milk and the balance was so perfect. It wasn't overly sweet so you don't need to adjust the sweetness. It wasn't grassy or earthy matcha it was still high grade and you could taste it. The overall best of both worlds when it comes to a great matcha in my opinion. I'm someone who doesn't like too sweet and the fruit jam they used didn't overpower the matcha. I also ordered their egg sando and this is what I DID NOT like. I would NOT recommend this. Their bread did not taste like Japanese milk bread and it was not soft it was hard worst than even wonder bread because they used the butt of the bread?!?! I asked the waiter is it normal for the bread to be this hard and I showed him with my spoon pressing down on it. And he said oh it looks like they used the butt of the bread and it might still be a little frozen? I could not eat it. I only ate the inside egg part. I would come back for their matcha though. It's also upstairs so a little hard to find at first.
This place is a Gem. It opens for a long period of time if you ever want to stow away at a nice place to study and/or read. The drinks they make are quite exceptional for what you pay - they do prioritize quality and presentation so that what you pay does feel worthwhile for not just the nourishment but the experience of it all. There's a variety of seating from bar stools to square tables to benches. My sister and I got more than one drink and baked goods. They're good as delectable treats. Service is kind. It may take some time for your order to be completed, but it's done for the quality. God bless you all.
5 stars for the coffee I had since they finally made their way over to south OC. I love the ordering kiosk up front, there was an item that said it was sold out and the cashier had to manually insert it. Everyone is so helpful and willing to answer questions, and love the architecture inside, with the cement counters and lighting. It's def cozy for studying! Now to find this place though.., that's a whole different story. They have yet to put a sign out front saying where they are located, or maybe it's there and I missed it? All I know is that it took me forever to realize they are in the second floor. Maybe putting a sign on the first floor that everyone needs to go up a level. I didn't seem to be the only other person confused of where it was located. This could also not be their fault at all as city codes take forever to get approved. Regardless, it's a cute spot with superb tasting matcha that left me yearning for more.
Having enjoyed Vivot's OG Fullerton location, I was very excited to see they opened a location in south OC! They have a variety of matcha, hojicha, and coffee with different fruit purees and cream tops. I'm here at least once a week because that's how good their matcha is. My go to is their mango matcha - the mango puree is fresh and the balance between mango and matcha is perfect. I've also tried their strawberry matcha, blueberry matcha, and matcha einspanner too and those are all great too. They are always consistent and I've never had a bad drink. The staff are friendly and always offer to adjust your drink if you don't like it. The space is nice and there's plenty of room and tables. Parking is easy - I recommend parking on the top floor since Vivot is located on the second floor.

Located on the 2nd floor of a small plaza (you can't really see their sign from the "outsides" of the plaza); lots of parking. For those who want to interact minimally with others, you can order at a kiosk inside (you can also order with the barista at the register). There's a decent amount of seating inside, though many of the spots were taken up by those studying or doing work on their devices. (I came about 5pm on a Sunday.) I got a white peach matcha latte (listed under fruit puree matcha) and it really was nice and rich in both flavors!! I definitely will be coming back. read more
Hands down the best matcha I have ever had. And that is saying a lot. This place is an absolute gem tucked right by the freeway and if you blink, you might miss it, which would be a huge mistake. The moment you walk in, the space feels calm, intentional, and elevated without being pretentious. Clean lines, warm wood, greenery, and a minimalist vibe that immediately tells you they care deeply about what they're serving. I ordered the ube matcha with banana foam and I am still thinking about it. The ube flavor was rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced. Not overly sweet, not artificial tasting, just smooth and indulgent in the best way. The matcha itself was clearly high quality and handcrafted. You can taste the difference immediately. It was bold, earthy, and velvety without any bitterness. This is not your average cafe matcha. Now let's talk about the banana foam because wow. Thick, luscious, and actually tastes like real banana. It added the perfect layer of creaminess and depth to the drink. Every sip was better than the last. Easily one of the best drinks I have had in a very long time, not just matcha, but drinks in general. My husband ordered a regular coffee with strawberry foam. They had unfortunately run out of Vietnamese coffee that day, which honestly just tells me they are doing something right because clearly people are ordering it nonstop. Even without it, his drink was excellent. Smooth, well balanced coffee with a rich body, no bitterness, and the strawberry foam added a subtle sweetness that worked surprisingly well. It tasted intentional, not gimmicky, which is rare. You can tell the drinks here are made with care. Everything feels thoughtfully crafted, from the foam textures to the flavor pairings. This is the kind of place where the baristas actually know what they are doing and take pride in it. Service was friendly, patient, and happy to explain the menu, which I really appreciated because there are so many unique options. The menu itself is creative without being overwhelming, and I already know I need to come back to try more. If you love matcha, this place is a must. If you think you don't like matcha, this place might change your mind. And if you're a coffee person, you're still in very good hands here. Hidden gem. Worth going out of your way for. I was in the area and craving matcha and Vivot came up on yelp with good reviews so I checked it out around 1pm on a Wednesday. The location itself is on the second floor. I ordered a banana matcha, 50% sweet. The color was perfect and it definitely had an earthy matcha taste which I loved. I wish it was a bit sweeter but 75% seemed to be too much which is why I went with 50. Overall it had a consistent flavor. I would come back and try others! read more

This is absolutely one of my favorite spots in my area now. Vivot is a 10/10. I live in Laguna Niguel and having this close by is so nice. This is the first place i have ever tried Pandan. It is sooo good. From the cream top to the actual pandan matcha. The coffee is definitely special too Even my Pomeranian loves going there He gets a little pandan cream top and loves it. I went here with my husband on a weekday morning to try out the matcha since we'd heard about the matcha you need a waiver for and the matcha flights. Once we got there, we decided to try something different - I got a lychee matcha and it was delicious! I really enjoy the flavor of matcha but lattes can get too heavy so the lychee was great and felt much lighter and not too sweet. The cafe itself is upstairs and a bit awkward to find - I think it's still a bit new so they could use better signage. Inside it's clean and open and we really appreciated the ample charging ports available since we wanted to get some work done as well. I would go back here for a nice matcha and maybe try some of the other flavors. read more
Was hoping to love this place. It was bad and I can say their hoji fruit was undrinkable. I accidentally ordered the hoji fruit w banana instead of the banana matcha latte off their tablet-- I was looking off the menu and felt this was confusing. Anyway my drink was disgusting and the girls knew I mis-ordered off the screen and I wish they would have offered to correct it. When I even grabbed my drink I even asked is this the banana matcha and she said "yes" in which I replied "oh my bad I'm not use to it being brown." The boba oh lawd probably the worst boba pearls I have ever had it was very firm and not soft and chewy. I've been to a lot of shops so that's saying a lot. The banana in my drink was not good either and couldn't save my drink. Won't be back. Location was good with plenty of parking. I want to add the photos online looked really rustic and cool but I felt it was just alight in-person. read more

Spacious cafe in Mission Viejo with good matcha drinks! I went around 11am on a Monday. The place wasn't very busy but more people trickled in later on. You can order either by using the kiosk or at the counter. There's plenty of room to sit, free wifi, and outlets to charge your devices. :) I ordered a banana matcha with oat milk, 75% sweetness, and with the matcha being hand whisked (which is an additional charge). Although a bit pricey, it was so good! You can tell they use real bananas to make their banana puree. The matcha was also not too sweet or bitter. Despite being super far from me, I would definitely come again to try their other matcha drinks! I also enjoyed studying here, so would come back to do that again. :-) read more

I was in Mission Viejo for a day and planned to stop by Vivot during their soft opening. I saw photos of tea flights and had to try it! Preferring hojicha (roasted green tea), I got a flight of that instead of typical matcha. Choose your milk, sweetness level, and four different cold foams. I picked the following with oat milk, less sweet: Pandan Matchamisu Horchata Banana They have other cool flavors like lavender, ube, sakura(?), and more! I should've gotten no added sweetness for the tea base but one of my friends has never had Hojicha before and she likes sweet boba haha. The flight was amazing! Each cold foam was yummy and creamy. My favorite had to be banana. We had an event right after so I mixed the last of the banana and horchata together in a paper cup meant for water to go. Couldn't leave the goods behind! Friends ordered banana matcha with boba & mango matcha with crystal boba. They enjoyed! We also ordered a pesto chicken sando and egg salad sando. Both looked soo tasty! I had half of the former and it hit the spot with protein-rich juicy grilled chicken, fragrant pesto, fresh tomato and spinach. Employees were very helpful and handcrafted each drink carefully. Kinda wish I video recorded them assembling my flight. They call the sando maker "chef" which I found cute. Maybe they are an actual chef? This spot has a fair amount of indoor seating. Pretty cozy spot for chilling with friends or grabbing a drink to go. Parking doesn't seem to be an issue (above the car wash business). Will definitely recommend to friends visiting SoCal! If they had one up here, I'd totally try their guava matcha. read more
Victor Craft Cafe is such a cute place tucked in a plaza in Mission Viejo. It's a great spot to relax and chill and has a great vibe. I ordered the Matcha flight and it was so cute in there individual holders and all were delicious! The Ube brownie was a good size to share and was served warm and gooey! Park on the upper parking structure and the walk way takes you immediately towards Vivot! Can't wait to try all the other Matcha flavors! read more

This is dangerous for me. Vivot is very close to my work and I've been here 2 days in a row now. Located on the second floor, above the car wash, Vivot is somewhat hidden from the street. Parking is plenty. The space is open and modern, but often packed, as it is very close to Saddleback college as well. Their matcha is great. The matcha einspanner with sea salt foam is delicious. There is a bit of a wait, because they make everything fresh. I thought the price is a little high but you also get a big cup. I know I'm gonna be here often and will try other things on the menu. read more

Yes vivot opened in south county. This place is always packed in Fullerton that I never get a chance to check it out due to long lines. Came here on a Sunday afternoon and no lines but limited of seating available. People tend to linger and stay so just be aware of that. Love the variety of matcha here! We got to try their ube matcha, pandan matcha and the einspeinner. All are very good. Einspeinner was prolly my fave. Drinks range from $6-8 Recommend checking them out read more

Mixed feelings about Vivot location in Mission Viejo. The cafe is on the second floor above the car wash area. You can get $5 off for car wash if you show them the receipt. It's best to enter from the Marguerite Pkwy side instead of the Hampton Inn side of the road. It will be less confusing to find the cafe entrance that way as the signage can be taken down at times. I've visited this location twice so far. The drinks were either incorrect or tasted rancid and for the visits and I'm unsure if I would return. The first visit I had, the kiosk payment system was down, and the drink I received was incorrect. Although the strawberry foam I requested was available as verified by the person working there that day, I received regular matcha. I was informed they use premium matcha powder, but I didn't really taste much of it even though the coloring was beautifully green. The second visit I had, the kiosk was operational, but the service curt and brusque. It was between 10-1030 during a weekday morning. No customers in the store and the barista appeared extremely grumpy. The taller gentleman in the kitchen looked very frazzled and exasperated the entire time I was there. Their interactions seemed tense and acrimonious. The strawberry matcha I ordered tasted like it contained rancid milk. The cookies had a nice flavor but it tasted very stale and had an odd oily texture. The music was also extremely loud and uncomfortable. It was playing WAP by Cardi B., and other very loud rap music. The service was also slow. I just didn't think I would be waiting for more than 10+ minutes for one drink when there were no customers whatsoever in the store. Additionally, the tables and windows could benefit from some wipe down during off-peak hours. It's an otherwise nicely set up store with multiple big windows. The glares from the sun makes the dirty windows look all that much more salient especially when the tables and chairs are nicely set up right next to them. I would have otherwise stayed at the cafe to get some work done if the drink was good and the barista seemed a bit more approachable. I get it. It's early-ish in the morning and you never know what people are going through. Such a lovely coffee shop! I'm recovering from surgery at the hotel next door and was delighted to spot a coffee shot within walking distance. The staff is very sweet and helpful and the coffee is DELICIOUS!! Adorable atmosphere, comfortable seating, free WiFi, clean bathrooms. I just wish they had more signage on the main road so people knew they were here. 10/10. read more
this is a newer café with a second location that is fabulous in Fullerton! I've now been here a few times... it gets better and better every time I go back as the employees are learning. The owner, Brandon, is amazing and the manager. Destiny, is a gem! The Ube Matcha with Matcha foam is my favorite! Oh, and try the Ube cookie it's fabulous! Go try them out... they serve high quality Matcha, and lots of different options for flavors! and the location is great with easy parking! I've seen people post that their employees are not friendly, but I 100% disagree... I've not experienced that! I believe it's because the café is newer, and they are trying to focus on doing their jobs! :) read more
Vivot Craft Cafe, is located on the corner of Marguerite and Avery Parkway, in the new two story building. There is no official sign or directory when you get there. Just know that they're upstairs and you'll see them as you get off the escalators that do not work, at least at night time. Walking in, feels like an unfinished industrial style interior which I actually really like. It's nice and cool inside, while it feels like a comfy joint to chill and chat with some friends. I didn't notice a menu board but I know you can scan their menu on your phone and you can order at a large screen kiosk to the side of the large open counter. What I ordered: 1) Pandan matcha with the matcha upgrade - 1/2 sweet, oat milk, sweet cream foam. The other foams were out by the time I arrived that night. This is delicious. Absolutely delicious. It's also a "safe" flavor but don't let that fool you. 2) Guava matcha - 1/2 sweet with sweet cream cold foam. I totally underestimated this one. I loved it even more than the pandan flavor. I've always been a straight matcha type and cringed at seeing videos of matcha with fruity flavors. After having both the Pandan and especially the guava matcha, I am a convert to these fruity blends. Be open to it. Trust me. You will thank yourself for giving it a try. I can't wait to go back. I'll be ordering the guava and the mango matchas next. Let's keep these guys open, cause these matchas are so good. read more

This new matcha place opened nearby and I was excited to try it. I got the fruit matcha flight and you can choose the 4 flavors. I got guava, mango, strawberry and peach flavors. Guava had the least flavor so the matcha drink overpowered its taste. Mango and strawberry had a good flavor. I also got the egg sando, the bread is Japanese milk bread and the sandwich had a good consistency to it. The shopping center access is a bit strange as it has 2 floors of parking and there aren't many stores in the plaza. It is close to Saddleback college and Capo Valley High. It has ample seating and it was a very chill quiet environment, I saw some people using laptops working there. read more
