Still solid matcha, especially in South OC. I appreciated their anniversary promotion this month, though it could've been more consistent. For example, the sign on the door said all muffins were at a promotional price. So, at the register, we asked for the strawberry matcha and the staff member let us know it wasn't part of the deals. That was a letdown.

Drink: I ordered the Matcha Einspänner Latte, which was pretty affordable at $7.95. The matcha had a strong, smooth flavor and was overall a solid drink. Their matchas aren't overly sweet, even at 100% sweetness, but they do offer to adjust it if you prefer. Parking: It was a little confusing to find the store since it's surrounded by car wash and hotel parking. I believe you can park in front of the hotel. There are stairs that lead up to the second floor, where the shop is located. Ambience: I actually like the vibe here. It's quite crowded though, but they have a lot of seatings and outlets so you can work at.

One of our fave local matcha spots in South County! We were lucky enough to come to their grand opening and have loved their drinks ever since. I love that they offer SOY MILK which is my preferred milk and I alternate between the Ube matcha and the Pandan matcha. My daughters like the OG matcha and the strawberry matcha. They only have one size but you can vary the sugar level and the ice level and they have a variety of toppings you can choose from for extra cost. They do not charge extra for so I know which I appreciate. They have some really delicious looking pastries as well as a few sandwich options. The chicken caprese sandol is a huge. Less than $12, very tasty but very messy to eat! Full of pesto, balsamic drizzle, fresh greens, fresh mozzarella and a generous portion of chicken on a big ciabatta roll cut in half. I could only eat half of it this time and it'll take the other half home!

Just as good as the Fullerton location! I stopped here when I was in the area (Apple Maps makes it confusing but you can access it by parking in the lot next door and walking up to the second floor). Matcha was super tasty as always and I think a little cheaper here than the one in Fullerton (I paid on the kiosk and it was $7 for the OG iced matcha latte). It's not as strong but still has the high quality matcha. Workers were pretty quick and friendly. The inside was also very large and had lots of seating area inside and out with a good amount of wall plugs if you need to study.

Soooo excited to have another matcha spot in south OC! I've gone here a few times and the matcha is consistently delicious! The cafe itself has a nice ambience but is a little difficult to locate as it's on the second floor and there isn't any signage on the first floor. Service is limited since you order at a kiosk but i was asked to try my drink and modifications could be made if needed!

Been coming to Vivot for quite some time now but first time stepping foot inside. Really cute and quaint with a lot of kids studying and working. Was greeted with a warm "Welcome" at the kiosk. I was trying Vivot before they came out with an extended menu, most notably the coffee selection so I was so happy and excited to give the Caramel Banana latte a try. I went with the banana cold foam top and it create the perfect blend of flavors. Also left with a premium and delicious Strawberry matcha. The puree is one of the best I've tried. Vivot will continue to stay on my radar and being Khmer owned, I gotta support my people!!

"The pink coconut matcha drink was refreshing, creamy, and perfectly balanced. The coconut flavor blended smoothly with the matcha without being too sweet. It had a beautiful presentation and tasted just as good as it looked. A unique and delicious drink I would definitely order again!" Service was good. The only con about it .. it smelled like perm from hair chemicals

Vivot is my favorite place to get matcha and, in my opinion, has the best matcha in South OC! I come here often and usually work from here for a few hours. The matcha is always delicious, and everyone is so sweet and helpful. Day is usually working when I come in, and we always end up chatting. He's the sweetest and always makes me feel so welcome, the same goes for all the staff! So happy I found this place. If you are looking for a delicious matcha in South OC, you definitely need to try Vivot!

This place came highly recommended! To start, the matcha was out of this world! Vibrant, flavorful, with great mouthfeel. Probably the best matcha I've had at a coffee shop. It seems like the perfect place to study or read. Some of the desserts and drinks seemed really interesting and I definitely want to give it another try. BUT the wait for 1 drink and 1 sandwich in a near empty shop was ridiculous-- at least 20 minutes, and there was no one around to check on my order. I almost walked away as I was in a hurry. My ham and cheese croissant was not as expected. It was a croissant cut open with sliced ham and cheese inside, pressed flat. So, I would like to give it another chance, but the wait, lack of service, and unimpressive food were not great.

Great customer service. Ambiance was chill with soft tunes could see this being a good spot for studying. Drinks were served quickly and they were very good. Strong matcha and tasty earl grey!

I visited Vivot on a Wednesday afternoon to catch up with a couple of friends. I ordered the pink coconut matcha while my friends got the mango matcha latte & hojicha einspanner--we all enjoyed our drinks. I was surprised to spot a Red Bull matcha on the menu since I've never seen it at any other matcha cafe before. I liked the layout of the cafe, & that there were indoor & outdoor seating options for both chatting with friends & getting some work done. Would definitely visit again!

We stopped by here on our trip back from Oceanside. Wanted matcha and I Yelped for a cafe and came across Vivot and decided to try! They are located in a fairly new small plaza on second floor in the same location with Hampton Inn and the car wash. There is an escalator and there is no sign like other Yelpers mentioned but it wasn't hard to find the. Go up the escalator and it's right behind the escalator when you came up. The staff were super nice and friendly! Drinks were good and they are known for their matcha, with so many options for it. We came during a power outage and they were still able to craft out excellent matcha drinks. We got the eispanner and a latter with matcha and coconut foam. Both were great and I love the fact that you can adjust sweetness. Would def recommend! Their matcha is strong.

Double Hojicha Latte and Double Matcha Latte

Our 2nd time trying out this Matcha Cafe as it is conveniently located near the freeway exit. It's a hip modern cafe that has a lot of tables inside if you have some work stuff or friendly catchup to do. On our first visit we tried the Ube Matcha and Matcha Einspanner. Matcha Einspanner is much better than the ube. And they don't charge extra for Milk alternatives like Oat and Soymilk which is great! You can adjust the sweetness of their matcha drinks as well and have Splenda alternatives. On our 2nd visit we tried their Double Hojicha and Double Matcha which are both solid. I liked the Hojicha more because you can really taste the nutty flavor and cinammon on top. It's pretty packed on the weekends but there were no lines as the staffs are quick on the orders as well. A must try if you're along the way and needed that matcha fix!

We also ordered a simple ham and cheese omelette, served with a side of their sliced baguette -- again assuming was fresh baked, because it was delicious. Simple dish, done right, which honestly says a lot about a kitchen. But the danishes stole the show. We grabbed a few to try, and the blueberry one was outstanding -- like, stopped-mid-conversation-to-comment-on-it good. Not overly sweet, good fruit-to-pastry ratio, perfect texture. Ariana helped us and was an absolute sweetheart -- even let us sample a pastry we were debating on before we committed. That kind of thing goes a long way, especially when you're trying to decide between six things that all look amazing in the case. Atmosphere was great too, comfortable spot to sit and eat instead of just grab-and-go. Will definitely be back to work through the rest of the pastry case. 10/10. Their son in particular is phenomenal and always made every interaction pleasant. The baked goods are fresh, delicious, and clearly made with care. While there was one interaction in the past that felt a little more business-focused than hospitality-focused regarding a mall discount, it was far from enough to take away from the overall experience this bakery consistently provides. Manager ( not the owners ) was upset I wasn't able to offer a mall discount when they were able too. Came to the point she would verbally say we wouldn't ( myself and crew members) wouldn't be receiving it. Personally not a big deal. Most I'd spend was 5-7$ and discount was less than a dollar. Still a phenomenal bakery At the end of the day, great ownership, great products, and great people. Small businesses like this deserve support, and I'm always happy to recommend them.

Extremely Disappointing Service -- It's About the Principle…read more We ordered a tuna brioche sandwich and were asked whether we wanted a salad or fries. I clearly said fries. When I received the bill, I noticed I had been charged separately for the sandwich and a side of fries. Since we were sharing the sandwich, I asked for it to be cut in half. After having to ask again, the sandwich finally arrived on a small plate. We then had to ask for a second plate so we could each have our own. The entire experience felt unnecessarily complicated and showed a real lack of attention to basic customer service. After waiting more than half an hour, we asked about the fries we had ordered and already paid for. Instead of simply checking the order, the server asked to see my receipt, which made me feel as though he was questioning whether I was telling the truth. After some time, he returned and admitted that he had made a mistake when charging us. He explained that what I had paid for the fries was actually the full price of the sandwich, and if we still wanted fries, we would have to pay for them again. The fries were only $2, so this was never about the money. What was upsetting was the principle. You made the mistake, not the customer. I had already left approximately a 20% tip, and I simply expected the restaurant to honor the mistake rather than come back and ask me for another $2. When I pointed this out, I was told the manager would not allow it. Honestly, the $2 mistake cost you a customer. I will not return, and I would not recommend this place. It's not about the price of the fries--it's about how you make your customers feel. After spending our money here and leaving a good tip, I expected to feel that our business was appreciated. Instead, I left feeling that it simply wasn't.

I ordered an iced sea salt jasmine tea (large). I ordered through their website on my way there. When I went in to pick it up, the jasmine tea was waiting in the fridge for me and they topped it with the sea salt foam right before they handed it over, so that the foam would be nice and fresh. Once they add the foam it starts slowly blending with the tea, so I think it's nice that they make it fresh like that. I ordered 25% sweet tea, and it was just right. Honestly I bet even unsweetened would have been good too. The jasmine tea has a very strong floral taste, more so than other jasmine teas I've had at other places, which I think offsets some of the need for sweetness, and the sea salt foam was actually quite sweet as well. It was sweeter foam than 85C Bakery, which is my other go-to place. I enjoyed my drink and I thought the amount of foam they put on top was great (I like a lot of foam). The coffee/tea shop itself seems pretty nice. Although I didn't stay or order food, they do have a nice seating area where I saw a lot of people on their computers, and they have food items on their menu too.
