I was given no explanation just a one word "sorry" from an attendant who seemed more annoyed that I broke up their group chat, This was completely disrespectful of me and my time. I wanted to move to daily contacts from the monthly that I was using. she examined me and prescribed some new contacts. after wearing them I was unable to see distant and close up was very large. i called that Monday i was only able to discuss with a associate. she prescribed a new set again slightly better but still off told them distance was fine but wanted a read add. in the middle of what they gave me. the said it didn't exist I said okay then I research and there is a mid add call them back and they said they also discovered this. dr pate gives me another trial with the mid add reading great except she raised the distance -25 I was like what for distance was good so I trust and try after two days of trying my distance at the end of day was so bad and blurry . I called back finally they say they will have the Dr call me the next day great I finally get a call at 2:19 in the afternoon I am working and miss no big deal I get a chance to call back at 430 she is gone for the day it's Wednesday and won't be in till next week. What a crock waits most of the day to call and only once then not available again they say she is the only one who can do it What is the point of having a group of doctors if they are not going to help and take care of the customers worst eyes care experience ever kept changlng without ever talking to me I do not recommend at all I will probably have to go back to pearl vision and get real service

I don't have vision insurance anymore (because it's really not worth the extra cost for me). Paying $140 for a quality exam is not expensive. I am disabled and she kindly brought me dozens of frames to try. I know that was a lot of work. like I said just wonderful thoughtful people. I am in a wheelchair and they went out of their way to work with me. Then I got stranded by my return ride home. I was there until 8pm. They did not leave me. They gave me a snack and helped me charge my phone. They were so nice And so patient . If you want to go somewhere where they really truly care and you get the best service this is the place.

Each doctor I've seen has been great. I don't know how someone could be a "bad" eye doctor LOL. The differentiating factor is the front desk staff. They are really strict about being late, and the cutoff is usually 15 minutes. Last year at another nearby location, I even called in advance and because I was 16 minutes late, they said I had to reschedule. And there was no other appointment for weeks. This year I was late as well. However, this location was so nice. They looked at the schedule, and asked the doctor if he could try to squeeze me in. Of course they advised that I would have to sit and wait 30-45 minutes if I wanted to take the chance. I had time so I didn't mind. In the meantime, I looked for new frames. If y'all wear glasses- you know this process can take a long time. About 30 minutes later the doctor was able to see me. I got my exam, and my new prescription. Since I couldn't find new frames I liked that were in my price range, I just opted to get new lenses for my existing frames. They had a great selection in a variety of price ranges- I just happened to like all the ones that were ridiculous haha. When I went back to get my glasses, they were still super helpful and friendly. I called and no on answered (probably busy on another line) and they even called me back! Not very happy with the service I received today. I received a text that the reading glasses I…read morepicked up were ready. So i went during my lunch period to grab them. At the front desk, they asked me to put them on and everything was blurry at about a distance of 1 foot from my face. Additionally, I tried looking at my phone and it looked distorted in my hand, like it was bending. While waiting the 2 weeks to pick up the glasses I tried a pair of over the counter readers with the same script and had no issues. The only reason I went with these was because the Dr told me it accounted for an astigmatism. I let them know that I was unable to see properly and they took the glasses back to check. When the lady came back, she said, the prescription is what the Dr prescribed. I explained the issues with them and she seemed to blow me off. She said that I would have to be retested. I explained that I can only do appointments on the weekend due to the lack of timing requesting time off as this is not considered an emergency situation. Unfortunately the soonest appointment is April 20th. She scheduled me and said nothing. There was awkwardness at the counter and I asked, did you schedule me. She said yes. So I guess I was done since she said nothing and I left. It was a level of rudeness that I have rarely seen in a customer service oriented business. At no time did they express any concern or care that this mistake is quite inconvenient. They weren't pleasant, apologetic or sympathetic. Mistakes with orders happen, what upset me was the lack of customer service by the front desk staff. They truly deserve to be sacked. In fact, I spoke to the gentleman who helped me order them, who no longer works there and he mentioned that my experience isn't uncommon with the front desk staff. In fact he said the two woman at the front desk were part of the reason he left the company. I will try to resolve the issue with this company but ultimately, I have very little faith. If I have too, I will take the frames and go elsewhere and end up paying out of pocket for a new exam and lenses. I will update this post based on the resolution. UPDATE: I went today to pick up the pair of glasses to give it a few days of letting my eyes adjust to see if they work out. I checked google and yelp to see what time they were open. I get here and they are closed and it's, "by appointment only". Yelp even stated that the hours were updated a month ago. This place is absolutely garbage. It needs new management or shut down. The last 6 months of reviews are horrendous. They can't get their hours correct online and their front desk staff are like the mean girls club. Once I pick up the glasses I'm done. I will encourage everyone I know never to give this company business.

The doctor does a thorough job with the examination and explains things to us in a way that when we leave, all of our questions have been answered. Plenty of frames to choose from and name brand frames, affordable prices. On this drop-in visit, I had broke my frames. Fortunately, I'd purchased the $35 warranty 7 months ago, and there was no additional fee to replace my frames. I actually took my friend to the CarlinVision Surgery Center which is in the ORIGINAL location that…read moreCarlinVision started in decades ago until they moved up the street into a huge fancy building and added more doctors. I had my Lasik Surgery in the original building in 2007 performed by Dr Richard Carlin (love him). Any way my friend was having cataract surgery performed by Dr Willman. Even though the building is older it is SPOTLESSLY CLEAN! Very well maintained with an excellent staff. From check in until they wheeled him out it ran like a well oiled machine on how well they performed their duties. His Surgery was scheduled for 2:00 pm with check in at 1:00 pm. We arrived at 1:03 because Hwy 78 is always busy no matter what time. Check in took about 15/20 minutes going over the paperwork and paying. He sat down down beside me gave me the paperwork and bam the nurse was at the door calling his name. She took him back for prep (IV & dilation of his left eye) 15 minutes later she came and got me so I could sit with him while his eye dilated for 15 minutes more (the Dr came in before I got back there). At 1: 53 the nurse took him back and showed me the waiting area with snacks and a Keureg coffee machine. I made a coffee went to the restroom came back to drink my coffee and the nurse came out saying he did great! I pulled my car to the awning area and 5 minutes later she wheeled him out. It was at max 90 minutes from beginning to end. I'm scheduling mine for August! He felt great... took him home fed him and in the bed he went. Tomorrow his follow up is at 11:00 am where they will remove the protective patch and he starts eye drops for 2 weeks. But he can drive and go about his life except no bending at the waist to pick up anything and nothing over 10lbs. He has another follow up in 10 days. The worst thing is no movies at the theater until after that follow up. He highly recommends Dr Willman and CarlinVision Surgery Center!

He would reach out to shake my hand then proceed to wipe his hand on his pant leg in front of me which I thought was rude and was very short when answering my questions. But I came back home, mainly because they performed my LASIK and I felt my eyesight was detonating and I should start wearing contacts/glasses again. I came in to set up an appointment and the ladies there were really nice. The office is always clean and they have a huge waiting area with plenty of seating and refreshments while you wait to be called back. The lady (I didn't get her name) I spoke with suggested I see Dr. Thornhill, after I told her I would rather see a different doctor than the one I saw the past couple of times I was there. I am so thankful for her because Dr. Thornhill restored my faith! He was very charismatic, funny, and just overall great energy! He answered all my questions and addressed any concerns I had. He also recommended eye exercises I can do since I'm constantly staring at a computer screen during my work day. So if you are not sure which doctor to see, I definitely recommend Dr. Thornhill.

That's 2 weeks. Well we patiently waited those 2 weeks and called to check on the status of the glasses. We were told they were not ready and could not be given any type of update. Instead of apologizing for not producing the product in the given amount of time I was argued with about the quote of time given to me initially. Customer Service is a big part of every industry and unfortunately this place stinks. We are still waiting on our glasses. That means it's going on 3 weeks that my child has been going to school unable to be at her best because of her vision. Crazy...
