My experience was incredibly different than I previously remembered. I'm a returning customer from nine years ago. I do believe the entire staff met 5 stars easily. I was greeted with friendly staff, and they called me back to the doctor in a timely manner. Dr. Thomas was incredibly thorough, knowledgeable, informative, and passed information to the assistant who would help finish the customer buying process. The lady who helped me already had my insurance paperwork pulled up. She helped select the lowest cost, picked out glasses selections according to my desired description, and we enjoyed a few laughs. Everyone was friendly and told me bye as I was leaving, quickly inserting that the average time for receiving my glasses was two weeks. I will certainly be back. read more

This practice came highly recommended but to my disappointment I believe the one who recommended it suffered TBI from a swift kick to the head by a donkey. Worst experience EVER! Paid for a exam for both glasses and contacts. The doctor got my sons prescription for glasses wrong. Call this practice for a callback...never once returned a call. I called several times. Finally decide to go in and get the prescription just to see if the one my son brought home matched with the one the doctor gave me. Weird thing to do, I know, but I did it anyways. The office manager with the personality of a salted slug, Donna, gave me both the contact and reading glasses prescription. How about both prescriptions were for contacts. I ordered my sons glasses with the contact prescription they sent home with him. He came home with 2 prescriptions of the same. They gave me the same thing...2 prescriptions of the same. I wasted money on an exam that gave me the wrong prescription for glasses and on top of that wasted money on glasses my son cannot use! Me thinks everyone employed here needs to go get their eyes checked from a qualified doctor, because clearly the overall vision at this practice is quite deficient. They are not going to like me darkening their doorstep again but they owe me some glasses or a refund on the eye exam. One or the other! read more

I purchased glasses in February but was diagnosed with a tumor in my eye so we postponed making them until the tumor was stabilized. I was assured that waiting was not a problem because I had paid in full and they would make my glasses once the tumor was under control. Once it was, I asked them to proceed with the order. When I went to pick up my glasses the frames were not the ones I had ordered. They said it was an easy fix and they would reorder the correct ones. Today I went to pick up the "right" frames and once again it was the wrong frame. Then the representative became very condescending and rude. Suggesting that my memory is failing. The truth came out, they had resold the frames i had originally paid for and couldn't get another one because they are out of stock. After her rudeness, humiliation and attitude i will never be back. The office manager was sorry but at that point being sorry was not enough. I paid for a pair of sunglasses that I didn't get. read more

The doctor and their staff do not listen to what you have to say and have NO attention to detail. Had to find a new doctor for a new eyeglass and contact prescription. As always I took a current set of contacts. I have had the same eyeglass and contact prescription for the last 8 years. I have also worn the same contact brand. Upon the first visit the doctor felt he needed to lower my prescription only on my contacts but left my glasses the same. Needless to say the trial contacts did not work. The doctor blamed me for the prescription being incorrect. I was also made to come back for another exam. The next exam the numbers were corrected.. Waited another 2-3 weeks for trial contacts(2 months now total on this process) and found the wrong brand AGAIN. The doctor wouldn't take responsibility for this and just kept blaming other things. Cut to today. I called and said the trials aren't correct. The person on the phone said they would update the prescription and email it to me in 5 min. Funny because I never gave them my email. So they are going to magically send it to me? They take my email and then send me 2 blank PDFS with my "prescriptions". Have to call back again so they update it again but have bi-weekly contacts when they were supposed to be daily. Now I get to call back again. This doesnt include the couple of times where the office said they would call me and never did. Overall this doctor and their staff and completely incompetent and I strongly recommend running far far away from this place. read more

The staff is very nice but the service is slow and the office is dark and drury. I told one of the staff members office is dark, her response was it's the mood of the office. I had a terrible experience with your office; Holly specifically. She takes no accountability for the mistakes her office makes and is unapologetic about the poor team practices that she sits at the helm of. On two occasions your business credited me refunds because of negligence, lack of communication and follow up. She is bad for business and should be placed under serious review. For over three months, I went back and forth with Holly regarding the status of my glasses and later, the quality of what I received. After multiple inquiries, I learned that my prescription had errors on the labs end and that is why it took just about two months for me to get my glasses initially. Holly told me that because of the mess up she would personally call me to keep me abreast of what was going on - on every occasion she dropped the ball - no contact, no updates, no care. It is unacceptable for the customer to have to chase down a business to get what they paid for. To add insult to injury, Holly, when asked about the status of anything, is like a deer in headlights and she seems to not care that she or the team messed up! Totally unacceptable behavior for the leader of the office. Do better, Victory. read more

I honestly do not understand this place. The staff is very nice, the doctor is a wise ass who needs a tune up. Typical doctor with a highly over inflated ego. After the unpleasant exam I ordered basic look over the top readers. They had to special orders these. After a 5 week wait I call only to find out we have a problem. I had left these folks 10 years ago because of a similar issue where it took 3 tries to get me reading glasses ordered correctly. Will never go to this place again. AVOID! read more

All I can say is WOW! The manager does not listen to what you are trying explain to her about insurance. I was trying to tell her to call the number in the back of card and talk to them. She was telling me that I didn't have vision insurance when I know I do. Just don't have the attitude that you know everything, and maybe listen to the customers might just help you learn something. After all this I mentioned I would be going elsewhere in the future and her response was "OK" like she could care less. That's not working with your patients. I'm sure the Dr. would not appreciate this. Now that I paid for my services I have to wait until they get paid from the insurance to get my money back. read more

We have gone here for years. However this year for some reason they charged me a 'copay' (Insurance exactly the same for years). I get the EOB on the visit and I, in fact, owed nothing. Called them to get my money back and they gave me the run around. I was on the phone for 30 minutes. Did not resolve. I will do a chargeback on the Credit Card. They are counting on you not to reconcile your visit with the EOB. Just beware. read more

I have not gone to the eyecare center's doctors, but instead went there with prescription in hand to pick out glasses. Even though the business seems small, they had a great selection of both designer eyeglasses and the type that were covered by my eyecare insurance plan. (Frames around $100.00) The service was amazing and I felt that the ladies who took care of me were honest about what looked good and not just pushing expensive glasses. I walked out with two pairs of glasses that I loved and felt really appreciated as a customer. I would recommend for anyone looking for a great place to get glasses in our community. I am going to make an appointment for both my daughters (8 years and 18) and will follow up with info. about the whole experience. read more

SALES STAFF STINKS!! DON'T BOTHER!!! There are way too manyy eyecare establishments to waste your time here. Visited and were told incorrect insurance coverage information. After getting the straight info from our benefits person, returned (should have known better!!) After 5 weeks of being misled 4 times on where my glasses are, I returned completely and then had a hassle of getting the reimbursement to my insurance to be able to go somewhere else!!! Dr is good but sales staff are rude, incompetent, and totally not caring. read more
