I was expecting a tiny shower, but Its plenty of space for 2 to get raunchy. I even like the updated tile and the floors throughout are really nice. I scoured the room for bugs...nothing and other than the 1950s air-conditioning, it's clean enough I'm comfortable. The bed is great, but almost gotta take a running head start to get into it. The sheet you sleep on is like a light face towel...sorta ruff, but soft..its hard to explain, but it's actually really nice. The pillow top is nice, but it's not been rotated so the head is lower than the feet, so I gotta sleep with my head at the foot or my boobs will suffocate me, but Its comfy. I am assuming they don't have breakfast, and I'm not taking a chance on looking in the ice bin way up front... but I hope more people look past the ruff exterior and give Comfort Inn the finger as the unload into this high rise of a motel!

The whole place looked like someone had raided the house of a recently deceased grandmother who hadn't updated her furniture since 2003. We were told that the breakfast was "made to order", but that turned out to be telling someone behind a window to make something. There wasn't even a menu which seems like the least they could do. The rest of the breakfast, if you could even call it that, was some prepackaged shit that looked like it had been there since the beginning of the pandemic. Real classy. Not gonna lie the coffee was pretty decent. So long demopolis, I hope we never meet again.

We have stayed at The Mason several times while visiting my family and absolutely love the place. You get a fully stocked kitchen, a nice deck out back, 2 comfortable bedrooms, a well appointed living room (w/ dish network and dvd player) and best of all, a powerful shower and coffee to wake you up in the morning. Unless you like fighting over who gets in the bathroom first when you come to visit family or come hunting, I would highly recommend checking this place out.

The decor is simply elegant and beautiful. We were in room 4, with a view of the downtown. We had a glass of wine and just took in the scenery. SSBB is located next door to the wonderful restaurant "The Loft", so it's very convenient to walk downstairs, have a great dinner and enjoy the downtown scene. Breakfast from SSBB Bakery is complimentary with your stay. The bakery is closed on Sunday mornings, but hubby and I were left some wonderful pastries the night of our arrival. From the high ceilings to the immaculate hardwood floors, you have to ask.... why even bother to stay in a hotel when you can stay in a beautiful condo for the same price.
