I had a very disappointing experience with the front desk. When I called for assistance, the staff member who answered, Ray, was extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. His excuse was that he was busy. He spoke to me rudely and hung up on me not once, but twice, before my issue was even addressed. This kind of behavior is unacceptable, especially from customer service at a hotel where guests expect courtesy and help. I am rewriting my review because my last one got taken down. This place is truly disgusting, from filthy floors to rude employees. Not americas "best value" AT ALL Do not come here with your children. This place is absolutely disgusting, so nasty. My daughter and I woke up itchy from sleeping in the bed. The floors left my daughter's feet BLACK. I am repulsed! She had an accident on the floor, I cleaned it and it left the wipe BLACK. So nasty I should've left as soon as I saw it but I stayed unfortunately. This hotel is not worth the $200 CASH DEPOSIT. Which is wild! I was not informed about the free morning breakfast, but I'm glad I didn't grab anything for my daughter from here because reading the reviews. It probably would've gotten her sick. The staff is so rude, I said good morning to the maid and she gave me an ugly look and didn't say anything back to me. My experience is definitely not as bad as a lot of these other 1 star reviews but it was enough for me to never come back and make sure everyone I know, never comes here. Y'all need to hire some better house keeping and put a lot more effort in keeping your rooms clean, I am really surprised no one has gone home with some sort of contact dermatitis or bed bugs. I've seen other people say they saw BLOOD!? In their room???? I've been here a few times and never really paid attention to detail / cleanliness. This is my third visit here and by far the worse visit I've experienced here. All I'm gonna day is this time was very unpleasant because I actually focused on cleanliness once I noticed there was gum on the bed and after the fact that I sat on it. I was wearing shorts also so it also got stuck to my leg hairs too and I had to cut it out (not to mention got stuck on my clothes also - shorts and shirt). I did notice a small blood stain on the blanket also, but reality came when I went over the counters / headboard / and nightstands / drawer. My boyfriend and I used to always stay here but lately the front desk people are incredibly rude and don't care about anything. The rooms are disgusting and dirty. Water pressures sucks. Call for a different room and he said they're all the same which is pathetic considering. All the rooms are dirty it's like the maid just throws some new towels and remakes the bed that's it like it's smells like shit when you walk in and you turn the air on and that just makes everything smell worse. We came here to give it one more shot,but this place is so terrible I wouldn't recommend anyone coming here like don't waste your money. Booked through Priceline with the right information, however, they charged me extra per person when checking in and it was cash only. Second, the toilet didn't flush...at all. When reporting the matter, the front desk directed me to pick up a plunger from under the stairs to resolve the issue. Needless to say, the toilet was still not operable. I only used the room to sleep and had to plan my party's restrooms room breaks at Target and local restaurants. Unacceptable and unsanitary. Never again will I stay at this place or this chain. I reserved a one night stay using my Hotels.com app and when I arrived the "manager" said he has no record of my booking. I showed him my confirmation number and he said he would not honor it. I called hotels.com and they called him asking to honor the reservation as there must be some type of delay and the man was so rude that the operator couldn't even believe how dishonorable he was. I have family in the Azuza area and just needed a place to crash while we visited them. Well, being the computer genius that I am...I booked the wrong days on a third party site and the VERY nice people at this hotel went above and beyond to accommodate my family on a busy holiday weekend!! The prices are the best and the rooms are very clean. I love that they have those rounded shower rods that make the shower feel bigger than it actually is. Plenty of parking and a mini refrigerator in the room!! They are in walking distance to Baskin Robbins, Couwami Asian Fusion Restaurant, and 7-eleven! If you just need a place to put your bags down and stay the night, definitely consider this spot! Update: Tom J. Has reviewed 8 businesses and only 1 of those reviews are not a 1 star. Employees are rude! They will literally flip you off! We were on our way in from a very long trip and as we are about to enter the driveway an employee driving a Toyota minivan was exiting. This class A jerk was taking up the ENTIRE driveway blocking us from entering. We were stuck there and the car behind us honked. Booked this motel online through my AAA, they weren't one of AAA's contracted motels but my agent called them and booked it for me, requesting an early check-in because my daughter was getting married a few blocks away, and she and several family members from out of town also rented several rooms so because she was the bride, we needed a couple of extra hours, we made several attempts to try to get in 2 hours early, but they absolutely refused to prepare one room early...this put so much more stress on my daughter, but they wouldn't budge, and there was no time to go to another place. I booked a room here after reading all kinds of stellar reviews on , so I came expecting it to be a great experience. Wrong! It looked like some of the rooms were being renovated, but they didn't put me in any of those rooms, despite the fact that the parking lot looked pretty empty. The room I had was filthy. The sofa was freakin' sick, filthy, with visable stains and some old crusty crumbs. The room stunk faintly of old cheese or feet. There were what looked like boogers on the walls in the bathroom. I checked in at 3am to get some rest from a long drive was charged for the whole day, an hour after i check in an individual start yelling outside looking for someone, then proceeds to banging not knocking on the doors looking for that person, all along front desk did not call police or some kind of security, this went on for about an hour. Service was horrible!!! I drove from 6 hours away i got to the hotel around 12 am at night didnt get my room till almost 3 am. Looong story short service was horrible i think they try and scam you. Dont think your room is getting paid online because it doesn't it just holds your reservation you have to pay when you their and i used my mothers debit card. It was a mess which I didn't have because i thought the room was paid for online but apparently not! I ended up paying in cash. It could have been 3 stars. But how they treated me on the last day makes this a 1 star. They clean a little but I found some hair in the shower. The air conditioning works and I felt secure with so many lights on. When I told the front office on my last day I did not want turn down service, they still did it. But they stole my night gown. I only had 1 and it was on the messy bed. I returned that night and it was gone. I went to the front office about it and they said it was strange and they had never had a complaint about it before. I don't know about the rest of this motel but I stayed in a room that was totally refurbished from top to bottom. Bed was perfect and room was super clean. Bring your own body lotions etc but there is ample shampoo and body wash. I don't know if they provide breakfast cuz I don't eat in the morning. I highly recommend!!! read more

Horrible place to stay. The rooms are a 2-10 at most. The sheets don't seem to get washed very well and had a very weird smell! I know cause I stay in a lot of hotels/motels due to work related stuff. The towels are very low quality didn't even dry me on the first try. Very out dated overall. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. The main reason I am giving this hotel a one star rating is because of the staff. They are simply rude and do not manage their hotel well. First off, many of my friends head to LA for the weekend to attend a music festival and after the first night three of my friends lost the people they came with and had no way of getting back to their hotel ,so I offered for them to stay with me. We all got back to the hotel exhausted from the night and began getting ready to go to bed when I got an angry call from the front desk. They yelled at me for having too many people in my room and said they all had to be gone with in 15 minutes. Given that we had to figure out where they would go and how they would get there, that was not possible. Two of my friends found rides in time and were able to leave but the other extra person had no way to leave. They were threatening to call the cops so I told my friend he had to go around the corner and wait until this got resolved (it was the middle of the night in a bad area of LA and it was pouring rain). I went to the desk to explain the situation and the staff was immediately rude to me. Originally there were seven people in the room and at the time I went down to talk to them there were four people including myself. They knew there were extra people in the room because they had security cameras everywhere (they were watching us... creepy). All the extra people had left the room and they were still threatening to call the cops. We weren't playing music, watching tv, or being loud or disruptive in anyway. We all were about to go to bed. We were able to resolve the situation with out getting the cops involved but the fact that we had to deal with that was ridiculous. I didn't end up going to bed until 4 in the morning because of it. The next day we went to the hotel's breakfast which was cold cereal and that was it. We went out to breakfast and came back to the hotel and the maid's service kicked us out of the room so they could clean, and we didn't have the option to request for them to come back later, or not clean the room at all. On check out day we also received a rude call from the front desk ten minutes before check out to "remind" us that chaco out was in ten minutes. Every encounter I had with the staff was unpleasant. On top of all this the hotel was in a bad area, the only channel on their TV was pornographic, and they did not provide shampoo and conditioner.
