This was just a one night stop on the way to Canada but it was really nice. The grounds are laid out so it's easy to get in/out with nearly all as pull-through. Spot was more than long enough to include our 26ft class c and 12ft tow car. It was quiet, level, and clean. The best part was it was next to a nature walk along a creek which was lovely. We were even surprised to see beavers there in the water, so cool!! We definitely would stay here again, maybe longer so we can visit Butte next time. read more

While traveling through the west on a 3 week adventure my sister and ger husband, she fell and broke her hip requiring a hip replacement. Well of course of the rest of the trip had to be cancelled. My brother in law had to call all the campgrounds to cancel the reservations due to this medical emergency and each campground was so very accommodating to give him a refund except this campground. They said it was corporate policy but the other KOA's took the medical emergency into consideration. I have no use for a place that doesn't take an emergency into consideration. read more

I'd have to say if you are passing by and need a place to park for the night it will do fine. It is close to the hwy and main road so it's easy to get to but also has road noise. It has a very small pool and shop along with clean private bathrooms with showers. But it is also an older rundown resort with many obvious full time residents with lots of clutter around their RVs. Half of the washing machines and dryers are out of order so we had to go into town to do our laundry. There are much prettier areas to stay for a longer family friendly camp. read more

We asked for a quiet site due to our reactive rescue dog. They took the time to discuss the best sites for our needs and didn't just blow us off and give us the first thing that came up. This was my first experience at a KOA and I was pleasantly surprised. First thing I noticed was how friendly and on top of customer service they are. They text you and give you clear directions and ask you to text back if you need anything. They were quickly to respond to any requests and they have a front office with a small store where you can find pretty much anything you need. The shared bathrooms... let me tell you about the bathrooms, cleaner than Nordstrom! Amazing! And what a releif, right? We stayed at a rustic cabin 9super cute) which has a double size bed, a bunkbed, a mini fridge, a small desk with complementary soap, shampoo & contitioner, a fan and even AC! Perfect for my family of 4. We were just passing by on our way to Yellowstone so we only needed a place to crash, but I was really happy with the cleanliness, all the extra effort and the superb customer service. So why am I not giving them 5 stars? well... the place is really a parking lot. If you are camping, you will be squished! The sites are too close to each other and you are in total and complete display, there is zero privacy. Other than that, no complains! Great job Butte KOA! read more

Ok for an overnight but the worst kOA I've been to. $108/night. Rated OK but certainly Nothing special. Nothing here that would encourage time spent outdoors. People were nice. The guy instructed us to pull forward to the point that sewer line won't reach. We adjusted by pulling back, now Direct TV is blocked by the tree. They have no cable. Sky is pretty. For the price we expected at least an average KOA. Go on down the road. This one is an overpriced disappointment. Here two nights. read more

Quiet and clean Koa. We stayed in a camping cabin. It was well maintained and had a grassy lawn. Nice new bathrooms!! One complaint: they took out the camper sink, which made doing dishes a huge hassle. My kids loved the Gaga Ball pit! read more

Older park but clean. We stayed there as a stop over. The staff was very friendly. The little store and laundry facility was also very clean. There is a nice paved trail on backside of park that is several miles long. Currently the restaurant they had is permanently closed however they are looking for a replacement to come in. The pool was closed but being filled with water during our stay. No issue with mosquitoes at this time. read more

The park was mediocre and in desperate need of maintenance and the spaces were very small. The grass next to our spot was dusty dirt. The playground had rusty screws exposed and was falling apart, the toys had all been well used. We have stayed in some rustic campgrounds, but they normally charge a rustic amount. Considering the condition of this campground compared to others, this place is 50% overpriced. I would have a hard time recommending that anyone should stay here. If you are passing through Butte and need a place to park overnight, this place will serve that need but is overpriced for what they provide. read more

This campground looks nothing like the other pictures posted. It's basically a gravel parking lot with very few trees. The campground is right by a highway in the city. Also This part of Butte is very ugly more crack houses than anything else. Montana is full of beautiful places, but this is not one of them. read more

Spent 3 nights here. Easy on/off I 90 and located near the oldest, historical part of town. Check in was easy, the folks were friendly. There's a pool and a small fast food restaurant on site. Most sites are pull throughs...ours was a lovely patio site...concrete shaped pad, stone walkways, new grill and table. Easy access to the tourist things that will bring you here like Our Lady of the Rockies, the World Mining Museum and the Berkeley Pit. They should hurry up and finish the new sites they are building...makes that area of campground kind of a mess. read more

For a quick stop for the night his place will work. The spot we were in was was a pull through with water and electric. It was very tight to the next camper, our slides almost touched. They had freshly seeded the "grass area" next to the camper. It was currently covered with straw. The pool was not open yet. The bathrooms were very nicely remodeled and clean. read more

This had to be the absolute worst KOA I've ever stayed at. There was no shade the office lied about the upload and download speeds. Pool was gross and was never clean with no lifeguard and kids were spitting sneezing and coughing in the pool. The bathrooms were nice and kept clean though but the cleaning took a little longer than expected which is fine. read more

This was the first time we stayed at a KOA, and it was a really great experience. The bathroom was my favorite aspects of the campground it was really modern and clean and you could lock the door when you shower which is great. There's a nice little trail to walk the dogs and some campsites had their own lighting and fire pits. read more

This was supposed to be a good start to our Montana experience, but, we had reservations for a deluxe patio site prepaid and the sales gal Kathleen Manz, was a nasty person who gave our site away and said it was a glitch in the computer, but we have a computer print out stating our reservation for a deluxe site. She would not help us find another site, said we were cussing, which we absolutely did not do, then she had a fit and said we need to go somewhere else. Do not waste your time here! We moved to a better site on 122 2 Bar Lazy N RvPark, much better folks and not in the mud and by the noisy street. read more

Just a place to sleep. Hosts were really nice, and accommodating. The campsite is next to the HWY and a busy road. Noise all night long. Internet was terrible, extremely slow...but it had a nice little pool and clean ( but outdated) showers. The fried chicken smelled awesome. Could be better, since its a KOA. read more

Staff was accommodating to get us a site to check in a nite early,but then all hell broke loose the next day. We made a reservation 4 months prior and was assigned a site still under construction. When telling of our dissatisfaction, the owner gave us a take it or leave it alternative. Then when threatened with Yelp, he reluctantly worked it out with no apology for the bad treatment. Worst owner ever. Will never go back and will notify KOA corporate office. Found another campground 5 miles down at $20 less. read more

I'm giving this KOA 5 stars. It is a very quiet park with easy access to I-90. It's close to al lot of the sites to see here and the spa e are very roomy. They have nice cabins and tent spots as well as spots for 50' RVs. People are nice and helpful and there are a lot of trees in the older section of the park. We stayed 3 days and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Don't hesitate. It's a good park. read more

Very clean and super friendly! My brother and I stopped and stayed a night on our drive home to Washington from South Dakota. We stayed in one of the Kozy Kabins and it was clean and comfortable. The showers and bathrooms were clean as well! We came in at about 9 pm and the store was already closed but the gal that worked there came out and still helped us get our key and map! They also had a great little dog park area that my brothers two huskies really enjoyed...would definitely recommend this place! read more

These guys are great! We broke down on a Friday afternoon over a three day Memorial Day weekend and these guys were full! They not only made accommodations for us but they also gave us a spot that was easy for the tow truck to drop us. Tuesday morning Baker Auto Repair across the street got us up rolling! Theses guys have always been great as we've been here a few times before but it was before Yelp. Positives first! Great location. Close to restaurants. Dog run that is grassy and shady. Gate doesn't lock properly so stand guard if your pups are runners. This was a quick overnight to our main destination so we chose to not get a sewer site for our 5th wheel. The site was tight but luckily our slideouts fit. Barely. Negatives. The bathrooms need a serious remodel. Small and rundown. They seemed clean in the afternoon, but hard to tell because they are so old. At night they were ridden with mosquitoes and in the morning there were dead mosquitoes everywhere - in the sink, toilet, shower, counters - super gross. Regular RV sites are tight and we were told we didn't have a "buddy" site, but we did. So make sure you ask if you don't want to share and then confirm. There's a small older playground and a pool, but it was closed by the time we walked by so I can't comment on it. If you're driving through it's ok to stop at, but maybe not a long term stay, especially if you need to use their restrooms/showers. read more

The staff were very friendly and accommodating, especially during these difficult times, and the bath houses were the nicest we encountered on our 25 day trip. Pricy and not well maintained. One of the shower faucets was broken and could not be adjusted. We have been coming to this campground for years and years and it used to be a place we has to stay since as a kid I required a pool. Over the years I have noticed a steady decline in this campground. I'm not frightened by age and use, I understand that, but broken is another thing especially for $47 a night. read more

If you are looking for a quiet and clean campground with little light pollution, this is not your place. The restroom are disgusting, I chose not to shower. The trash cans were overflowing and the tent lots are super tiny and cramped. Stay somewhere else if you value a nice campground that isn't overpriced. read more
