If I could give 0 starts I would, the customer service was horrible. I PAID 11.43 for 5 wings and fries, and when shown the food I asked for my wings to be re made because they looked old and over cooked. The guy behind the counter argued with me saying the wings were fresh and basically tried to force me to get the food even after asking for a new batch... I've been to several America's Best establishments and this location at Edmonson Village is the absolute best! The shopping center could definitely use a makeover but it doesn't influence my opinion of the meal. America's Best at Edmonson Village are always timely, accurate and knowledgeable about each menu item. I've also noticed that their prices are more reasonable and their food items are fresher compared to other franchised locations. These were by far the worst wings I have ever tasted. I ordered 5 of the Garlic and Parmesan wings. While the delivery was fast, the food is not even edible. The wings are hard, dry and there is so much salt on then you cant even eat them. I took one bite and threw the rest away. What happened to the catfish combo here????? Is the 574 Cranbrook Rd location under new management?? I paid $13.24 for a two-pc dinner which was absolutely pathetic. I received 2 very small slithers of catfish that were very thin, overcooked, tasteless, and barely wide as the width of 3 fingers. I complained about how small the fish were and was told that's what they receive from the warehouse. The cook was nice enough to give me a third piece of fish but the 3 small portions still did not equal or resemble the size of 1 regular piece of fish. This location's catfish portions were previously huge but are now 75% smaller than before. Stop insulting your customers with these sardine-size fish at higher prices. I don't know if it's under new management or they just have a new group of girls behind the counter....you would think it would be a part of one's "training" to know how to describe a flavor if asked what it is... or if I ask for a triple mix, don't give me all fruit punch.... they usually show your food before bagging and ask if you'd like to apply your own condiments- she did none of that....And just common curtesy of a greeting, please and thank you to a customer who's choosing to patronize an establishment who's keeping you employed- without the attitude. Today was my second time trying a shrimp cheesesteak combo with fries & a drink and I was very disappointed this time. The sub was mainly un-toasted bread because it didn't have much meat on it and the onions were barely fried & more so raw with a little color. They have a wide assortment of food choices ranging from burgers to fried seafood, but as their name suggests, wings reign supreme at ABW. The wife and I had the 20 wings, fries, and soda combo. The price was very affordable, especially with the amount of food that we received. They also sell wings in larger quantities. This seems like an ideal place to order wings for the Super Bowl or other sporting events. The wings were fried pretty well: crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. The sauces were ok. We tried the Thai n Chili, Onion Dipped, and Curry. The Thai n Chili had a good amount of heat but lacked the vinegary tartness that I expect from Asian style hot wings. The Curry smelled better than it tasted. That isn't to say it tasted bad, it was just a lot milder flavor wise than what we were expecting. The Onion Dipped was our favorite and tasted like Utz sour cream and onion chips. The dry flavors (Onion Dipped and Curry) seemed to suffer from an uneven distribution of the flavoring: some wings were well seasoned while others were not. The fries were hot and crispy, but nothing too spectacular: the western fries might have been a better option. As I mentioned earlier, they have a wide variety of food choices other than wings. They even offered non-fried seafood options, which is refreshing. They also have a display case filled with various cakes and bean pies, although we did not try any on our visit. I went there, there was a line of people waiting to order. There was only 1 person taking the orders, which I can understand. After waiting for about 10 minutes, I finally got to order. Ordered 30 wings, 3 different flavors, Caribbean jerk, garlic??, and traditional bbq. My co-workers introduced me to America's Best Wings and it was like love at first bite!! They have yet to disappoint me and tonight I think we fell in love Me and my +1 were undecided on takeout for the night, I wanted America's Best and he wanted the chicken spot on the corner. I (very innocently) suggested that we order my food first since it's cooked to order and his is sitting waiting to be bought. As soon as we stepped in, the aroma hit him. As I looked at the menu, I was instructed to let him see I ordered the side salad (which had fresh lettuce, veggies and cheese including cucumbers that were cored) and the highly recommended 5 piece honey lemon pepper wings...he got the 5 piece old bay wings, the 12 piece garlic butter grilled shrimp w/dirty rice platter and some onion rings for his mini me. When I peeked into his platter and snuck a taste , I was instantly jealous...he had 2 skewers of large grilled shrimp over a bed of rice As I ate my food, all feelings of inferiority subsided so much so, that I attempted to eat the bones...braces and all My wings were fried to perfection and they had a perfect balance of sweet and salty. Wonderful wing flavor selection! Honestly the best America's Best Wing store in the area. More flavors better seasonings. The other food on the menu is really hit or miss. I would suggest you call your order ahead to avoid lines during peak hours like lunch & around 5pm. Don't be afraid to try some of their exotic flavors. Absolutely, the best wing spot on the East Coast.... I had the honey lemon pepper and the old bay wings. I couldn't stop eating them. Wings are fresh and the flavors are truly amazing.
