Placed an order online today about 12:15pm and it said it would be ready for pick up at 12:56pm. I arrived about 12:45pm. It's not a large place. You can sit in and eat but, my order was for carryout. When I arrived I was greeted. My order was ready. I couldn't pass up the desserts in the display case. So before I left i ordered a slice of strawberry cheesecake and a slice of oreo cheesecake. The food i ordered was Turkey Wings with gravy on the side with rice Collard greens Mac and cheese Smothered Pork Chops with rice Cabbage Potato salad 4 cornbread muffins. Let me tell you....... I tasted some of everything and nothing was a disappointment. I shared with my aunt and she enjoyed everything as well. And there is still enough left to have it tomorrow. Thumbs up

We were visiting family in the area and wanted some home-cooked food--and Georgia Peach did not disappoint. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted, which set the tone for a pleasant experience. My husband and I both ordered the fried catfish platter, while our son chose the ribs and our daughter went with the fried chicken wings. The food was flavorful, well-seasoned, and felt like it came straight from someone's Southern kitchen. We placed our order to-go and were impressed that it was ready in just 10 minutes. I especially appreciated how the meals were packed--each item carefully wrapped in aluminum foil, which kept everything warm and leak-free (a big win for me since I don't like my food to mix). One note for future visitors: if you're ordering fish, you'll need to place that order directly with the cashier. This wasn't clear at first and caused a little confusion when we tried to order at the counter. All in all, we had a great experience. Everyone cleaned their plates, and we left full and satisfied. Georgia Peach is definitely worth a stop if you're craving comfort food in Baltimore!

Nice little spot located rite next to Morgan State College. The food was fresh wings were well seasoned my only regret was I didn't get the turkey wing dinner as well. No complaints what so ever soul food was on point! Givem a try

The food tastes like some good wholesome down south cooking! The service and staff is nice. I usually order to go because it's not much room on the inside.

I hadn't been here in a while, but was looking to settle my hankering of fried fish. As usual, it didn't disappoint. Portions are plentiful for the price and more than enough for seconds. Service was excellent, fast and worth the wait. As it's really a carry out with a few spots for sitting, it was nicely decorated and the smells of the fresh food wafting through the air made for a great experience. I'll definitely go back again.

We moved to the area ~2 years ago from Atlanta so when I was checking on my little cousin for Morgan State homecoming I was excited to try a fast- casual soul food spot! It reminded me of This Is It restaurant in Atlanta so we were super excited! For our group of 5 we had 3 orders of catfish, 1 fried chicken and I got whitening! All the fish is fried to order as it should be... it was hot, well-seasoned and good portion sizes! Everyone raved about the catfish and my whitening was everything I was craving. For sides- I had the macaroni & cheese and yams which everyone also ordered, 5/5 in our group agreed and would order again. My sister was the only one that ordered an extra side of greens, she said she liked it but it wasn't the best she has had but she finished the portion so I would say she liked them! the sweet tea wasn't that sweet or strong enough tea flavor and the cornbread was a let down. But all in all great meal and good service! As a suggestion, it would be great if they do a peach sweet tea!

Veggie Platter- they did not give me the potato salad which was third item ordered in the platter
    Auna C.

Ordered delivery. The food was hit or miss. Some items were delicious, while others were just wrong. I never received the potato salad ordered with the Veggie Platter. They were sold out of the leg and thigh smothered chicken, but they were kind enough to swap it out for Turkey Wings. The catfish was extremely salty in some bites. The cornbread was dry and crumbly. All of our veggies were done right, perfectly seasoned and not over cooked. The mac and cheese, let's just say the recipe needs vital improvement. The menu online shows they offer drinks and dessert, but none of these were an option when ordering online. I would get food from Georgia Peach again, but couldn't tell you when. Cheers to a great time!

The food reminded me of my southern grandmothers cooking. It was big portions. The service was great. The only issue is the size. It is across the street from Morgan State so it can get crowds quick. There is limited sitting due to it being small. The decoration is great representation of black owned establishment.

Food is slung is a bag like free school lunch. $10 - 2 wings and collard greens.

I tried so hard to support the black business. Waited 15 minutes for order only to be told it wasn't prepared. You have to order then tell them What you want. No signs. Cashier want even kind even to say hey .... I see you've been waiting. Then the presentation. Food is slung is a bag like free school lunch. $10 - 2 wings and collard greens. Once I got to eat the food, the flavors were good.

I've been giving out a lot of 5 stars recently, but this is a place that really deserves it. It's a must visit. It'd been many moons since I had escargot, so I got it. Despite one cooked snail being basically impossible to scrape out and my fine motor dexterity isn't great, it was delightful. My wife loved her seafood stew. Our shared side of the grilled Zucchini (definitely enough to share) was also a highlight. We've been raving about our fried clam sandwich and lobster roll since. Both were amazing; my wife said it was the best lobster roll she's had (we've never been to maine or anywhere known for lobster). The dessert passion fruit pie was a great way to end, also shared, but the crust was a little too thick and the dollop on top did kind of over power the curd. The birthday sprinkles (it wasnt either of our birthdays) were cute. We will be back. Especially to try the raw bar (We're pregnant and didnt want to risk it).

The ambience is very cute - there are multiple floors to the restaurant so one given area doesn't feel overly crowded. The cocktail menu has some fun and unique options and the food menu has something for everyone! We got the mussels to start, and honestly I was so hungry I forgot to take a picture. But the sauce was delicious and I loved the potatoes that came with it. The mussels themselves were very large too! For my main I got the hake, which was so tender and flavorful. It was a generous portion and I was stuffed, but we kept seeing other people order the coffee cake and couldn't help ourselves. I'm so glad we got it, because I'm not normally huge into coffee cake, but this was so delicious that we finished it all! Our server had great recommendations and was patient as we took a long time deciding what to order. I can't wait to come back!

The crab cake absolutely lived up to its reputation--packed with large, sweet pieces of crab meat and very little filler. It was fresh, flavorful, and surprisingly light. The Seafood Combo was generous and perfect for sharing after a long day of exploring the city. The restaurant was busy but well organized, and the staff were friendly and efficient. The atmosphere felt lively without being overwhelming. After lunch, we took a short walk to Fells Point and spent the afternoon exploring the neighborhood, which made it a perfect Baltimore experience. I've had them everywhere there is to have them, and somehow I'm just now discovering Koco's. Well, let me tell you -- this is the winning spot. There are a lot of good, even great, crab cakes around town, but Koco's is 100% in a league of its own. I usually enjoy my crab cake with crackers, maybe a little bread on the side. Not here. Skip the bread. Skip the filler. This crab cake stands all by itself. Outrageously delicious. Off the scale. The kind of crab cake that makes you stop talking for a minute because you're too busy appreciating what just happened. And it's not just the food. From the second you walk in, you're treated kindly -- not only by the staff, but even by the folks sitting down enjoying their meals. The whole place just has that great local, welcoming feel. I also can't leave out the French fries. They are off the charts too. A true 3/8 straight-cut fry -- not those crispy coated carnival/stadium fries that seem to be taking over everywhere these days. Real fries. Done right. There is no better crab cake to be had. If you're going to go big, go hungry. You will leave HAPPY!!!!!!!

Given Koco's crab cake platter during their dinner service will set you back about $50, I've been hesitant to spend that amount of money for just one 8oz. crab cake. So I decided to give them a try during their lunch hours where you can get a 6oz. crab cake platter for about $30. I ordered in advance and popped into the brightly colored, tropical themed restaurant which was bustling on a Friday afternoon. My pickup was quick and the service was nice. I of course had to sneak a few fries while on my ride home, and they were perfectly crisp and well seasoned. Once I made it home I dived into the beautifully broiled crab cake and I immediately understood why Koco's is know as one of best crab cakes in the area. Full of lump crab meat, seasoned to perfection, and not wet in the center. All things I consider in a good crab cake. Now that I've had a taste of Koco's I'll definitely be saving a few coins to splurge a little for a crab cake.

But I would prefer underwhelming to overwhelming and it worked well with the cajun flavorings of the grilled shrimp entree I ordered. The shrimp came with cocktail sauce and a lemon wedge. All together it was nice. The collard greens consisted of full leaves and was good but not the best I have had.
