I was super super excited to try this place and although I was extremely excited I was just a tad bit disappointed. I normally never get Turkey Wings but I been in a Turkey mood lately. I was alone and sometimes I like to stay and eat instead of take out. Nonetheless there was a small window to view some of what they have but it's manly just menu to go off from. I waited about 10m after I ordered my food which was pretty fast. Now for the food, the Turkey Wings were flavorful, not super juicy but it wasn't tough or dry either. The smothered was smothering for sure, thegravy was a bit lighter than I was expecting but nothing to cray. I ordered a side or Mac & Collards and the wings come on top of a bed of rice. A friend of mine told me about this place , so decided to drive 30mins to try it out. Located in a shopping center with plenty of parking . The inside is definitely inviting , with plenty of seating to either wait or eat your food. TVs are mounted along the wall and the music selection is on point. Ordering the food simple and easy . The wait was only 15 minutes . My friend and I enjoyed both our meals . Found this location on Yelp in an area I was visiting. Ordered the smothered turkey wing with collard greens and candied yams. Cost was about $22.25. The dinner comes with a cornbread muffin. Wasn't crowded so I was able to order on the spot and did not have to wait. Everything was yummy. Season was a little much but it wasn't intolerable. The dinner plate was plentiful and heavy. The peach cobbler was vile. One bite of this poorly made concoction was one to many. I promptly asked the cashier where the trash can was located. She threw it in the trash. Ok these turkey wings are calm off the bone good. The service is quick and friendly. These turkey wings will cost you 20$ it's a bit steep but you get 2 sides with it. I chose collard greens doubled. The turkey wings sit on a bed of rice. It so good and Turkey are hard to get out. So I pay for them. I have never got sick here and I feel like they take pride In their food preparation. It's looks like some remodeling is going on but currently there is no place to eat here. So they are not a lot of decor here but perhaps it will be open dining one day. I'll be back. read more

She ordered catfish, which was thin, dry and tasteless. She ended up throwing it out. She also ordered mac and cheese but got mashed potatoes instead. With no gravy! There's a new Georgia Peach located in the Havenwood Shopping Center in East Baltimore. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. It's good soul food. My only complaint is (just like the other locations) the chicken is just way too salty BUT I would order it again, just maybe one piece. I also had the salmon, yams, macaroni and cheese and oreo cookie cheesecake. The building is small so not many people can dine it. It's best to take out. Overall, it gets a 7.5/10. I was craving some good southern style fry chicken (like the ole school southern grandma's and mama's I know make). I started off ordering only fried chicken wings and fries based on the reviews of there sides. By the time I got there 15 mins later I decided to try a few sides (yams, collard greens, and cornbread) since I don't live that close. Why not....if you don't try....then you really won't know. So here's my honest opinion....... as I know what traditional southern food should taste like when I've had grandma's and mama's making it homemade from scratch. Fry chicken wings was tasty. Truly hit the spot. Great flavor and well seasoned with the perfect crunch yet juicy. I enjoyed every bite. Note- it's just as good when warmed up in the oven couple days later. French fries was good standard type and not too crunchy. Mine didn't have any old bay seasoning as I read about in the other reviews. That was perfect for me as I don't particularly care for it on my fries. Yams was delicious with the right balance of texture (not too soggy or hard) and flavorful sweetness. Collard greens was also well seasoned and juicy. Only thing it was just a tad tad bit too soft for me. I mainly noticed it in the smaller leafy parts and stem. The bigger leaves was fine. I prefer it not too soft or too crunchy. If you like it on the softer side then it will be perfect for you. However, this by no means would stop me from having it again. Cornbread was moist and delicious. Taste even better the next day when warmed in the oven for few a minutes. Gives it a slight crust on top along with being warm and soft on the inside. So so good! Also, ordered Coconut Lemon Cake for dessert which unfortunately I was not impressed by. Bummed cause it's my favorite and was really looking forward to it. Doesn't taste anything like the southern style ones I know. Expected it to be more moist and flavorful. Was on the bland side. Georgia Peach restaurant is definitely added to my collection when I want some good ole southern food. Minus one star only cause of the soft greens and bland cake. Growing up in the south I was a little apprehensive about this place. But I have to say it was really good! We ordered food for a small gathering at our place and everyone loved it. The ribs were delicious with a lot of flavor and cooked to the point where the meat fell off the bone. The greens were full of flavor and melted in your mouth. The sweet potatoes were also delicious and not too sweet but full of flavor. If you want great southern food go here. Out of five wings, two wings fried hard, and three appeared to be flash-fried. *Flash-fried: crispy on the outside, uncooked rubber texture on the inside* This is not the order I expected. The underside of the Macaroni and cheese was wet, too moist for my liking. The string beans passed. If you are a person who likes their fried chicken wings fried hard, ignore what the cashier says. I ended up finding this local gem by accident. Chipotle was crowded and the line wasn't moving so I left and right in the same complex. It was clean and nice. The menu is online but the lady at the front was nice enough to run down there menu. The fish is cooked to order. I had to wait about 15-20 mins but it went fast. The food was good and hot. The lad and half was perfect. The fish was fried just right. The meal was about 18 and the jumbo tea was 3 and some change. I felt like it was good southern food. This is my 2nd time visiting this establishment and both times the service has been the same, subpar. It's as if they speak because they have to and everyone has a nice/nasty attitude.
