Absolutely by far the worst Americas Best Wings I've ever eaten at but also just one of the worst restaurants period. I got fish and wings combo and the so called 3 piece fish was one piece sliced into 3 thin over cooked burnt slices. The fries which I was told were being made fresh which is why my order was taking so long were under cooked and tasted like they were heated up in an oven and not fried. Wings were meaty and crispy. For the flavors (they have over 20!), decided on hot (wet sauce) and lemon pepper (dry rub). Between the two flavors, I enjoyed the lemon pepper more. The hot (3 peppers on their menu) wasn't spicy at all, but more on the mild side. Next time I'll give nuclear (4 peppers on their menu) a try. I would have also liked the wings to be saucier, so would spend the extra $0.50 next time around. The lemon pepper wings had good flavor to them. Citrusy and not too salty. I just wish the wings were more evenly coated as some parts of the chicken tasted just like plain chicken. Again, I would spend extra for more sauce next time. The fries that came with the wings were okay. Could have used a sprinkle of salt on them. The chicken tenders were huge! They were fried nicely and their home made batter was well seasoned. Besides chicken, America's Best Wings also offers subs, burgers, wraps, seafood (fish and shrimp), and salads. To go menu stated one price, but I was charged another (slightly less than advertised). I was up visiting from Va Beach and went by to get myself some 'wings' from this location. ,,, Now, although the inside of the place looks like a "hole in the wall", the wings are actually very very good! The lady that took my order was very nice, and patient, and she took the time to mention to me that it would be less expensive to order 20 wings instead of two orders of ten. And she was nice enough to allow me to have them prepared two different ways. ("Thank you nice lady" ... Sheriff Buford T. Justice, Smokey & The Bandit) :) I ordered ten mild and ten lemon pepper. And they were surprisingly tasty! Although I do recommend that if you order the lemon pepper wings, that you request a little bit 'extra' lemon pepper, seasoning. Other than that, the wings were very good! Also, I highly recommend their 'in house' hot sauce. It is fantastic! One of the best 'in house' hot sauces I've had. Customer service is really poor. One lady works in the cashier who doesn't know how to manner and talk with customers. Today i ordered chicken wings combo and she gave me boneless wings. When i told her this is not what i ordered, she started showing me an attitude and saying i did order the boneless. Instead of saying sorry, she started arguing and blaming me like i did wrong but not her. Whoever goes there or planning to go there, i would tell them to be careful when you order any food. My only issue as far as the 30 flavors that some of the names are made up and when I asked what it exactly was - the cashier looked at me crazy and gave me one word descriptions as if I should know what "moon dust" would be. I recommend that they make descriptions that someone can look at if it's such a bother to describe. America's Best Wings? If you have the confidence to use that title, you had better be worthy of it. Was my meal a fluke? I placed an order for wings, but I'm omitting type and flavor for if I DO order again, I don't want a red flag to be raised and want to see if they'll do it once more. They looked absolutely perfect, like you would see on any TV commercial and I was salivating all the way home as the aroma was tantalizing! 10 minute drive home and then, I started eating these (In my humble opinion) amazing wings, I was floored to discover that underneath the flawless wings, were ones that looked like they've been sitting for hours! They weren't as juicy and were mostly dry! Suffice it to say, I was not happy and felt duped.
