I repeat my comment about another so-called restaurant inside an airport terminal: Chicago is on the verge of becoming a fully failed city. Considering the fact that the airlines don't serve food anymore (Thanks Mayor Pete!), the least the airports could do is enforce some standards on these food vendors. The prices are sky high, but the food is uniformly terrible. This place - believe it or not - had the highest rating in this food court. Service was exceptionally slow. Both drink orders were wrong. My girlfriend's chicken wrap was partially cold. My Italian Beef order was wrong. I went up to the counter to complain and it turns out they had the correct order behind the counter. If the airlines ran like this place, there'd be a crash every day. read more

Paid $11.99 for it, which is honestly hard to wrap your head around for a hot dog--even at an airport. That said, the dog itself was pretty good. Solid snap, fresh toppings, and it had all the right elements you expect from a proper Chicago-style dog. No complaints on taste at all. When in Chicago, I had to try a Chicago Hot Dog. So I found one at Midway airport on a layover. AD&B had a good selection of various hot dogs but I had to go for a classic Chicago dog. Ordering was quick and easy. And getting my order was even quicker. The Chicago dog looked amazing, it was vibrant in color and fragrant. I know it's just a hot dog but man was it flavorful. Soft poppy seed bun. Good snap of the hot dog. And the veggies were fresh and crisp, especially the sport peppers and pickle. I'm sure this is just a chain restaurant and there may be better dogs in Chicago but this was definitely worth a try. read more

I'm really glad AD&B has vegan hot dog options! You're able to get any signature dog and sub it with a vegan dog. I got the Baltimore dog, which was a deep fried dog with ghost pepper cheese sauce, onion strings, chipotle aioli, all in a Texas toast bun. I loved it! It was such a unique dog. read more

Get a good Chicago-dog and fries at the airport food court! For a while I couldnt find a good Chicago Dog at Midway Airport, and it's back, at America's Dog AD&B in the food court! A Vienna dog "dragged through the garden", with all the traditional fixings, most importantly genuine "sport peppers" and a poppy-seed bun! Fries were hot and crispy-tender. Flavors we're great! Looks like my previous review disappeared and Yelp has adjusted the correct restaurant entry which was missing. To my surprise I noticed today that they are open for breakfast, not sure when they open or when the cut over to the hotdog/burger menu occurs :-) O'Hare location opens at 6am. I previously had the Santa Fe hotdog which was fully loaded for $9.95 and not bad for airport hotdogs. Not that spicy or concerned about that. Comes in a great box that is handy for your airplane handing. For breakfast I also tried the Santa Fe wrap and it was a good size for $13. Had a good mix of eggs, bacon and opinions. Service was quick and expedient. Tap and go credit card. Beware of the bottled water options, $6 for small Fuji and $9 for large :-) read more

I'm plant based and almost everything in the b terminal of midway seemed meat m and cheese heavy. Happy to find this way at the end. Of course I'd love to see a more vegan focused eatery but grateful ADBhad veggie dog and burger options. This was the last meal in Chicago for the hubby and I before a flight on Black Friday. After perusing the food court at Midway, the hubby and I opted for Chicago hot dogs. The Maxwell Street ones are Chicago classics with polish sausage, sweet grilled onions, yellow mustard, and sport peppers on a poppy seed bun. For my side, I chose a side salad. We also got yogurt parfaits. Whenever I eat at an airport or a mall food court, my experiences are typically 3 stars. Hot dogs were kinda tasty yet unremarkable. I liked my salad and parfait. Customer service at the counter was A-OK too. The next time we are in Chicagoland, will likely plan or schedule better so we can eat with the Chicagoland fam at home or somewhere that's not at the airport. read more

As airport food goes, AD&B is very good. I got the Dallas dog, a Chicago Italian beef and a chocolate milkshake. All were good or better. The Dallas dog comes with chili, cheddar cheese and onions (or not) on a "Texas toast" roll. Very good. The Chicago Beef comes on an Italian roll with Hot or Sweet peppers and your choice of being dry, wet or soaked (dipped). Also, very good. The chocolate shake was a little different but tasted good. All in all, I was pretty impressed with the quality. Especially at an airport where most restaurants have a captive audience and don't really try. Please note that you order from a screen and have a huge number of options or changes you can make to any order. They also have burgers, fries and more. Give them a try. They are hiding back in the corner of the food court. I wish I had taken pics of the food but I was in a hurry. read more

Had a layover in Chicago so we had to try the Chicago Dog, wife had a Chicken Pita. Entrees were pretty good. Dog had a nice snap and chicken was flavorful. Fries needed a little salt. They may have been under the lamp.... It it was the airport location so I'll cut them some slack. read more

This was one of the restaurants in the Central Market of Chicago Midway Airport. Honestly, I had a hard time finding something cheap and good to eat as most of the food options in the airport was either very expensive or just some greasy fried food. Since I love a good Chicago dog, that's what I got here. They had 3 small kiosks for you to place your order. Once your order has been paid for and sent into the kitchen, you just wait off to the side for them to call your order number. read more

Ordering food in an airport is never exactly fun, but this place was terrible. Ordered one hotdog, fries and 2 dipping sauces. Took 10 minutes to get it out to me. They only served about 5-6 people before me as well, so it wasn't like they were swamped. When I got up to retrieve the order when my number was called, they had forgotten to include my dipping sauces. When I asked about them, I watched the lady VERY slowly walk to the back of the kitchen to get more sauce containers, walk VERY slowly back to the front to put them away, then take one of the containers and walk VERY slowly to the opposite side of the kitchen to fill the container, then walk VERY slowly back to the counter to give it to me. When I asked about the second sauce that I had ordered, I watched the whole episode again. No shit, this part or the process took 3 minutes. I suppose the food tasted ok, but not worth waiting 15 minutes for. I can get the same slow service from one of the sit down places. read more

Let me start with the positive: the service was fast. Every employee was turning it out. The menu has solid handheld offerings on paper. Unfortunately, that ends the positives. The food is great but the 2 girls working today are terrible. They appear very inconvenienced to be taking, making and handing out orders. The cashier gave us a smug look and shrug when we smiled and thanked her for our order. The cook moves very slow only handles one order at a time. I only needed French fries and a soft drink. The French fries were some of the worst that I've had in a long, long time. I suspect that the fryer temperature was set about fifty degrees (or more) below 375 degrees that is called for. The fries were soggy and barely warm right out of the fryer. The food court area had a number of different options, but whenever in or flying through Chicago I have to do one of the local specialities, so Deep dish or Chicago dog. Went with the Dog from this vendor and it was good. Order from a kiosk so you can customize your order so really any choice you start with you can modify. Also, among the 5 or 6 options in the food court, a single dressed Dog was under $11 so better pricing than most of the other offerings nearby. Only thing was the Polish sausage was not grilled, but was tasty without being overly salty. read more
