There is a storage unit right down the street from my apartment, so I booked it, and set it up. About a week before my move, the storage place canceled my reservation because they said it wasn't "locked in". I immediately emailed Victory Moving & Labor with the new details and set up a new location in Lacey, closer to where I would be moving to anyway. There were a few bumps along the way when it came to getting the agreement sent back to me, but overall, it was fixed and things were fine. They showed up 15 minutes early, took a look at my things and got straight to work. I hired 2 guys and a truck since I was moving out of a 1-bedroom apartment. They were able to get everything done in 3 hours and 15 minutes. That's pretty amazing, especially since I lived on the 3rd floor, had at least 20 boxes, furniture, etc, and the drive between my apartment and the new storage unit was about 25 minutes. The guys, Chris and Sean, were professional, friendly, and really got the job done efficiently and timely. They also pointed out when they saw damage on some of my pieces of furniture before they moved it. I appreciated being kept in the loop. They also remove items and put them in the dumpster for you. I was very pleased with their services and will be contacting them again when it comes time to move my stuff from storage into a "forever home". I would highly recommend their services. Also, they offer a 5% discount when you pay in cash. You should be aware that there are additional charges like travel and a processing fee so you can calculate your totals accordingly. I came prepared and had enough cash to cover my expenses. I booked for 2 hours, anticipated 4 hours, and only paid for 3 hours and some change. The owner Chris was easy to get a hold of and always answered our calls. We had an emergency the evening before our move day and had to reschedule our move to a later date at the lat minute. I felt terrible but Chris reassured me that everything was ok and they would take care of us. They arrived on time and loaded up our furniture and belongings in record time. He then after several hours informed me his crew would not help me pack what I had not gotten to when they knew I had to be all the way out by the end of that day. I was left with days of work I have to do by myself. And this is after I paid $2700 for movers to come. The attitude with the owher--his explanation for leaving a 60 year old woman to do all this by herself? "We have a big job to do tomorrow, too, and it would be too tiring for the crew to do all this and then the big job tomorrow, too. To top it off... when I can back to my condo to face this nightmare, I found boxes packed and ready to go that were simply left.

I should have listened to that voice in my head telling me not to go with these guys. Ah well. They were 4 hours late. They promised me three movers: two people showed up, and only one did any actual work. The other guy stayed in the cab of the truck the whole time. Another guy showed up even later. They still billed me for three movers. They did fine work, I guess, but over billed, and are now refusing to issue me a partial refund when I called them out on it. The movers update you of their ETA and arrival through call/text. Once they arrived they moved everything out efficiently also with care. They arrive at the destination where I needed to move all my stuff to and they will move everything in their place, you just have to tell them where you want them. I had a few really fragile items I wasn't able to package/wrap but they handled with care and nothing was damaged. I will definitely use them again in the near future. It definitely saved me a lot of time and saved me all the stress of moving, especially moving last minute. I will be using them again the next time I need to move anything. I definitely recommend!

I ended up using their packing and moving services with three movers - one helped finish packing and the other two began loading my already-packed boxes and furniture to the truck. They had all the supplies to help get everything safely packed up including an heirloom mirror and some fragile art pieces. Even though they were fast, the packing was safe and sturdy.
