Extremely disappointed with the dishonest service here. May 19, I paid $25 to have a tire mounted. After waiting 30 minutes, I was handed a tire with a torn sidewall. The staff immediately deflected blame, claiming the damage was pre-existing. Here is the issue: If the tire was truly damaged before they touched it, they never should have started working on it because a ripped sidewall is a major safety hazard. But they put on rim and put pressure and told me its ready . They used the damage they caused to pressure me into purchasing two new tires for $175, giving me a $25 "discount" on the initial fee as a cover. They damaged my property, blamed me for it, and forced a sale. Beware of their business practices. Oh no they didn't, but they did. They did shear off a lug bolt and broke a tire stud on two of my tires while putting on four new tires. The last two sets of tires were purchases and installed at this location. They told us about the tire stud but not about the lug bolt. They said they couldn't fix the broken tire stud there. But they did give us a contact slip to an auto shop in Orangevale that will fix it free of charge. However the place doesn't take walk ins; appointments only. They went on to say it was safe to drive but not for an extended period without getting it fixed. They didn't do a post walkthrough. But we always do. That's when we noticed the stripped lug bolt when we did our own inspection before driving off. So we went back into the shop to ask about that as well. Also they are not able to fix it and need to go the referred auto shop. Needless to say, we didn't feel comfortable going to the referred auto shop. So we went to our own dealership mechanic; he fixed the tire stud and replaced the lug nut for a nominal fee. read more

I've been to other locations and their customer service is always a 10/10. This Folsom location is just the same. Love that they are friendly and treat their customers well. I had a tire pressure warning that I've been noticing for about 3 days and had to fill it with air, so figured I had a minor air leak. I tried to book an appointment but they were all booked up for almost two weeks out. They do accept walk ins so I took that chance because I really wanted my tires to get checked out. Brought it in on a Wednesday around 4:30pm. There were a large handle of folks either checking in or picking up and just waiting for their vehicle. The estimated time was given until they would be able to get to my car was around 6:15pm. I opted to stay and wait. I noticed they were moving and getting cars outta there and my car was finally looked at around 5:15pm, not too bad. They told me my wheel had a crack which caused air from my tire to seep out. Although I didn't buy wheels from them, I really just wanted to point out great and quick service I received for being a walk in. I did end up buying wipers since my front were in need of new ones. They had a deal doing on for $12 a wiper with free install. I left there at 5:40pm. Not bad at all. read more

First time truly disappointed in the wait time and customer service. I made an appointment online and my vehicle made it back into the bay 45 minutes after my appointment time. Not sure if walk ins get priority these days but communication can go a long way if there's a back up or delay. Service is good once your vehicle makes it back to the bay. Inquiries regarding my vehicle can only be answered by the person who took you in. Brushed off by personnel, "He can help you when he's done with his customer", okay but you are just standing there and you can't answer my question? Never before was service based on whoever you initially spoke with the moment you step in to America's Tires. Maybe I made my appointment for an off day but desk services was way different than usual. Well never send your 16 year old to this location! Long story short, just needed 2 new Toyo fronts for sons Pilot. Tecch said all 4 needed replacement with Falcons because he didnt have Toyos in stock and son reluctantly approved. Complete BS! Then they strip one of the lug nuts on back and to cover thier -ss they tell my 16 year old that one seized and it may ( already did) break. THEN send him off with 4th tire in back and tell him to take it to a mechanic to fix. Thank goodness Les Schwab agreed to fix stripped lug nut and mount 4th tire for $120. Absolute goat rope! So I bite the bullet came here Monday morning after New Year's Day for an appointment at 9am and was helped immediately by Dominic. Got basic tires on my Jeep, They were in and out in about 45 minutes. The staff members were friendly and very attentive to the rest of us waiting to get tires done. I have had many unexpected tire "incidents"..slashed tires.. speeding curb/potholes!! America's tires on EBidwell is a place I would NEVER think twice about going to every time i needed it. They are my go to tire place.(wish they did other maintenance) As a woman, I've had a few unscrupulous estimates. --( I.E. -- a place told me i needed a 350.00 part which fortunately for me, had to be ordered..it ended up being fixed somewhere else for 30.00. Yesterday, on December 12, 2025, I went into Folsom America's Tires to have my left rear tire looked at because I was concerned about a slow leak. Right away, I was greeted by a nice gentleman, and Amazing Austin said I can check my vehicle in, and leave my car for 1.5 hours as it should be done within that timeframe. About 1.5 hours later, I received a text from Folsom America's Tires to inform me that my car was completed. I returned to pick up my car. Austin, who helped me through all this process, informed me that the leak has been repaired, and that they found a screw on my tire. Another spectacular thing happened, Austin said it was FREE, complimentary!!!! They did not charge me a dime!!! I said WOW!! Now IF I had taken my vehicle to El Dorado Hills Big Old Tires, they definitely would have charged me a fee for fixing 1 leaking tire, for Sure!! :( Folsom America's Tires is the BEST!!! Woke up to a flat tire, came by America's Tire for a patch and repair. Also needed a rotation and balance, and they took care of it same day. Spoke to Damion on the phone, and Austin T. helped me out in store. Had to wait 19 minutes upon arrival, at 11:15am. Quoted 3pm completion time and vehicle was done at 3:34pm. -1 star because of the delayed completion time and I also spoke with another employee who said if I bought the roadside hazard it would cover the cost of this incident, and when checked out I was charged both for the balance ($40) and the roadside hazard. Free rotation and repair however which is very nice, considering I purchased my tires through Costco! Me and my whole family have been shopping at this shop for years. I came in on Monday 12/29 at around 1:30 to get a tire rotation and some air in my tires for my Tesla model Y. The first thing he told me was "Do you have time? It will be while" that's fine I totally understand. Some skinny dude with a mustache comes out to my car, scans the tires and tells me he has some bad news and a tire rotation will do no good and that the tires tread is too low at 4/32 and that I need 4 new tires. I asked him again if he can just put air in my tires and rotate them and he said there's literally no point we don't rotate tires without tread. Knowing this wasn't true, I drove to the Orangevale store off greenback only for them to read my tires tread at 6/32 which is clearly in the green and rotatable according to their own tread depth chart! Seems as though these guys prey on Tesla drivers knowing that, yes, they go through tires faster than other cars because of the weight and torque of the vehicle. I'm fully aware rotating bald tires does nothing but this salesman specifically try's to strong arm/bully people into buying products they don't need! read more

Another fantastic experience at America's Tire! Called in advance needing 4 new tires for the Wife's minivan. They confirmed they had the tires and they'll be waiting. Got there around 45 minutes later. By the time we got there the place was pretty full, instantly thought to myself, "Uh oh this is going to take awhile!" Checked the car in, they quoted me an hour, but 30 minutes later got the notification the minivan was ready to pick up! Holy smoke show, Batman! Lol That was super duper fast! Been a customer for a long time. Rear left tire on my Tesla was low. Being I was at Home Depot I figured I'd drop by Americas tire for some air. I have many times before. Always they filled it and I was on my way. This time however the fella asked me to get out of the car so he could check my odometer. Ok. Then he asks my name and then my phone number. I told him I have and account there he said he then needed my e-mail. I told him I didn't want more marketing crap in my email. I get plenty of from Americas tires as is. I told him no. He then informed me that it's a state requirement. I said B.S. He said no air. I was an hour early for my appointment because my ride fell through so I decided to just camp it out. They didn't complain, they just got me in immediately and got me out in under 30 minutes. Definitely some customer service training needed here. I went in today, as on my last visit at a different Americas Tire location I was told I needed 3 tire sensors replaced, as my yellow tire pressure light was blinking. I paid $230 for this and waited about 30 minutes so all was good. I was told my car was done and was given my keys. I started my car to see my yellow tire pressure light was still blinking. I reparked and went back in to explain this, and was told "oh just drive around for 10 minutes as it needs to warm up". I've never heard that before, but took them at their word, as they are the professionals. I drove around for 1 hour and the yellow tire pressure light never came off. I now had to drive back to Americas Tire for a second time in 1 day. I walked in, told them the light was still on, and waited about 15 minutes. The technician came back told me "I don't know what happened, but your light is off now." So the bullshit "drive around for 10 minutes" line I was given was a complete lie, and wasted my time, gas , and money. If they would have LISTENED to the customer the first time, and said "sorry about that sir, let us check your vehicle 1 more time before you leave" instead of brushing me off and wasting my time, it would have earned them a loyal customer instead of a 1 star review. There's not 1 business I know that thinks good customer service is "go drive around for a while and come back because we didn't do our jobs." read more

Chain tire shops are dime a dozen but I go to THIS tire shop because they are awesome! I always recommend getting an appointment so your time is respected. Schedule online or by phone or even in person! I came here because I had a tire leaking 10 psi a day! They took me in with an appointment and found I had a crack in my Mercedes' wheel! Well it's been repaired before 10 years ago by quiksilver in Roseville, and it was cracked at the same spot again. Needless to say I was bummed. Life happens. But hey no charge for letting me know what happened! I found a used set of Mercedes' wheels with same design but 1" smaller diameter. Brought them in same day as I was lucky enough to find an appointment online for tire rotation and balance. Came in on time with my young son and got helped immediately. They were willing to test fit the used wheels and thank god they fit! They even took me and my son in the bay for a tour and watch them work on our car! Lastly, they didn't even charge us for the tire balancing fee! While the last part was a fluke. But I'll take it and thank them with an elite review! I'd been to America's Tire's on E. Bidwell before and they were always awesome. I made an appt, paid for my tires ahead of time. I got sent an email showing with an image how there'd be a parking spot right up front with my name on it. They said in the email the very next bay that opens would be for my car. It sounded like it was going to go great. Nothing went like that. There was no parking spot with my name. My car was not brought in for more than 90 minutes. It was half an hour before they took my key even. Meanwhile people kept crowding in. I have no idea who had an appt and who did not, but everyone was treated the same. I expect they didn't all have appts, so I assume that having an appointment gets you nothing at all. Certainly nothing like was promised in the email. It was a two hour wait there and freezing cold inside the waiting area. The tire part seemed to go great, the employees were all friendly. read more

I talked to Austin the night before. He quoted me $130 for one including labor, then it's $180 for one tire. Then they had only one kind of tire in stock that costs you $131 per tire. That came up to $620.70 with tax and labor. Austin also wanted me to pay first and told me that most customers pay first. I said I wanted to look @ the work before I paid. I have never heard of that and it's NOT my first time to take a car to a shop. He accepted my request but then he tried to up-sell me the repair and replacement certificate for $ 25 per tire. I also said no to that. Well, it's 11: 32. My little car was still not inside yet, but hey did deliver at noon. lol ... well, I walked out finding that they did not ask me if I wanted to rebalance the tires. read more

This is "our" tire store -- we have been coming here for almost 20 years, with positive experiences working with most of the staff. Last week, I damaged one of my tires (only had about 10,000 miles on it), without realizing it, right before dropping the car off for maintenance work elsewhere. After calling around, I was told they had the same model tire and would put one aside for us. I took the bad tire my mechanic took off the car, and worked with Jayson to get a replacement. I did not have a road hazard warranty, but Jason worked out a way to get the replacement tire (mounted/balanced) along with a road hazard warranty for all tires for less than the full cost of the replacement of one tire. I was told it would take an hour or so, but they completed the job in about 30 minutes. I was stressed about the situation, but the pleasant interaction with Jason helped me feel better. read more

Ended up speaking with Jayson, who made it clear that this experience was not in line with the safety and values of America's Tire. Jayson made it clear that this is an issue that has been addressed and one that will not occur in the future. The problem was rectified and I commend America's Tire for handling it without any games. I was in a pinch so I had to get my car in somewhere quick and have it done that day. I'd normally never bring my car here... my fears became reality! 1) SCRATCHED two of my BRAND NEW wheels. after they mounted the tires to my new wheels there are now light hairline scratches along about half of the outer lip edge. thought it was residue at first but absolutely not wiping off and definitely scratches. Noticed when I got home and cleaned up the wheels. 2) pulled up to pick up my car, which is a low coupe, to find it parked with the front bumper scraped and parked completely over the top of the curb. wheels all the way to the curb, underside and low points of bumper making contact and scraped. 3) told them to please call me as soon as it was ready bc I was on a timeline - I finally called them to find out my car had already been finished and was ready to be picked up... If you're a car guy or gal or care about your car at all - do NOT bring your car here. I'll be calling for a full refund. read more
