I went in for an oil change and tire rotation this morning. I wish I caught the name of the young man who helped me. He was very polite and accommodating. He let me use all of the coupons I had and my car was all good and ready to go when I returned from a nearby gym class. The associate even walked me to my car and opened the door for me when I left. Went here a while ago, about a year now, and forgot to post this review. Went in with my 2001 Mercedes E320, and they overfilled my oil, it then spilled into my engine and snapped my serpentine belt, along with I'm sure other damage. I do not recommend this place at all. DO YOUR OWN OIL!! It's cheaper and, you probably know more about your own car than these untrained people do. read more

Had my oil change today, got pleasure of working with James, Store manager. The staff were prompt , proffesional and asked several times if there was anything else they could help me with or look into. Found that my cabin filter was extremely dirty so I had that replaced as well. I was there maybe 20 mins . All my fluids were topped off and I even got a military discount . WOW! Yesterday my "check engine" light came on and I was concerned. I was near Jiffy Lube in EDH so I pulled in to get help. The service I got was SHOCKING! SHOCKINGLY GREAT, THAT IS! The young woman who greeted me and the tech that did the diagnostic were both TOP DRAWER employees. From being prompt, to fantastic eye contact, to informing me of what was happening was incredible. They got right on it and I got a printed report for my mechanic. I was relieved to learn that the problem was not urgent and I could get back on the road. And get this... there was NO CHARGE! I was in a tight spot... my oil light flashed, and I went straight to Jiffy because I've had such great service in the past. I only had cash on me and the attendant informed me that they are now cashless. That would mean I'd have to drive a good minute away to deposit my cash. This company is corrupt. I went to one Jiffy Lube and was told my wait was 90 minutes (not corrupt, just busy). I drove to a second and it was a 45 minute wait, so I chose to stay. Once it was my car's turn, they brought it into the bay, and began prepping. They told me it would be $180 for an oil change. I had already done the research, and knew exactly what oil my car needed. I also knew it was about $55 for the oil. I understand that you are not just paying for materials, they check fluid levels, etc, vacuum the floors, air the tires, and try to convince you to buy a new filter by showing you a very dirty one. They sell these filters for about $45, and you can buy one online for about $8. They have used this filter upsell on me in the past when I had changed the filter myself a week before my visit so I knew they were showing me somebody else's filter, probably one they keep in the shop for such purposes. Anyhow, I explained that the Jiffy Lube web site says a full synthetic oil change is $125. They also have a coupon online at all times for a reduction of $30 you can use. First off, why not just lower the price of the oil change and do away with a coupon that is always active? This seems like a corrupt way to do business unless of course you are open to taking advantage of those that do not know this coupon exists. They told me that my particular car uses only the "best in the world" full synthetic oil, an assertion I know to be untrue because I already knew what it used. This was why unfortunately it would be $180. I told them to button up my car and remove it from the bay, I am leaving. Got home, called Big O Tires, and gave them the specific information of my car and asked how much an oil change would be. $90. read more

I am so thankful for the amazing service and extraordinary dedication of the techs working at this location. I brought my Porsche 911 to be serviced (oil change) this morning. I was welcomed quickly by a friendly technician who said he needed to inquire whether they could service my 911. I was not surprised- Porsche does everything their own way, and not every shop has the parts and equipment to service them. Quickly the technician returned with great news - they had both the oil and filter necessary to service my 911. The service was thorough. After the service, they reconnected the engine fans and started the car to ensure all was well. One of the engine fans made a funny noise. The technician quickly turned off the car and diagnosed the issue. They spent the time to reinstall the fans perfectly so not a noise came from them. They went so far above and beyond to make sure all was well with my car it was amazing! I tipped the nice men and mentioned to the manager/owner (I did not get his name / I should have he was very car savvy and he was simply awesome) how happy I was with their help. With Covid things take time. People are on edge and finding workers is hard. Despite all this the men working today at this location gave me the kind of service that was hard to find pre-Covid, let alone now. Anyone who wants preventative maintenance in the area would be well served to patronize this location. Customer service and honesty demonstrates character. They have character. In today's world with all of its craziness, Randy Foster, Manager at the EDH Jiffy Lube is one of the great guys! I had a car issue today (Sat.4/24) and called my regular maintenance service centers. They couldn't help me much, were closed and one even said he couldn't do anything until Weds. because they were very busy. Ughhhhh. Because I didn't know how serious my car issue was, I needed to have my car checked out, plus, I was due for an oil change and tire rotation anyway. I called Randy and he said to bring the car right over. Well, when I drove up to Jiffy Lube at 4616 Post St, El Dorado Hills, my car issue went from not sure what it was to very much worse. Talk about timing! Randy, who is very knowledgeable, diagnosed it quickly and let me know he would see if he could help, even though they didn't normally do that repair. Well, Randy got the part I needed which made me feel sooooo much better and within 90 minutes, my car was back to normal with the oil change and the tire rotation. And to top it off the price for everything was more than fair. As I told Randy, I am now a customer for life and will only go to that Jiffy Lube as long as Randy is there. I didn't realize Jiffy Lube was able to do so much more than oil changes. Now I do and I will spread the word about my local Jiffy Lube. Anytime I need a car repair, Jiffy Lube in EDH will see it first. Randy is awesome! I let him know that this kind of service is so rare and I couldn't be more grateful. I came in for a oil change, with my oil light and tire light on. They were upfront and to the point, they told me I had premium oil and wouldn't need an oil change for atleast another 7000 Miles after scanning the cars info. I tried to explain how I didn't think that was correct but they sent me on my way without one look at the actual car. I didn't trust them and I've had a better experience at the Folsom location so I went there, they listened about how I got a free top off a few months prior so that's what was on the report and did a full run down. I had a blown head gasket, air filters that needed replacing and a must needed oil change, along with my tires being filled. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION. I was pretty disappointed with my service today. I used to get the best service at this location. But today, I was told I'd have to wait maybe 2 hours because there were 3 cars ahead of me. That's fine, I didn't mind the wait, but 2 of them told me this as if they wanted to deter me from coming in. I came in for a basic oil change and a tire check since the warning light was on. The girl who checked me in came in to let me know they checked everything and all was fine. But then I remembered the last time, they told me the back windshield wiper needed replacement, but they didn't have it in stock. So I asked her about it and she said, "oh yeah, that's torn, but I'll check to see if we have it in stock". I said, "Oh you didn't last time, so I ordered one, it's in the back of my car. Can you guys install it?" She comes back later to tell me I'm all set. So I get up to pay and she said they weren't comfortable installing the windshield wiper and my warning light is still on for my tires, but if I drive it around a bit, it'll go off. Ummm, no, it usually goes off right away. So I asked if they checked the spare tire, sometimes that sets off the warning light. She said no they didn't check that. No offer to check it while my car is still there anyways. Now I'll have to take my car to Costco so they can check my tires and fill the spare. And I guess I'll have to figure out how to put the windshield wiper on myself. I used to get the best service at this location! Now it seems like they only want to do the bare minimum and they just wanted to get me out of there. Update: I added a extra star. When I restarted my car later that evening, I had 2 extra warning lights come on (check engine and a flashing AUTO LSD light). I cancelled my plans the next morning and drove straight back to Jiffy Lube. They were very nice and did the diagnostic check and found that one of the hoses was not reattached properly. By fixing that one hose, both of those new lights went off. The assistant manager, Jeremy rechecked all my tires and added air to my spare tire, so that warning light actually went off too. read more

Terrible service. A judgmental worker apparently feared telling me what it would've cost to fix what was wrong, so instead, they lied to me, told me everything was fine, and sent me on my way. I waited 3+ hours for my brakes to be fixed because they told me they'd call me when it was ready. They never did, so when I finally called them, they told me my car had been done and ready for pick up. I show up, get charged the $25 for a brake inspection and I'm told everything's fixed and fine, except for my blinker which needs to be dealt with by the dealership. On my drive home, my brakes are still just as squeaky, so I call back and someone tells me "ooooh, well THAT would've cost $300." Ok? No one told me that in person, and I was ready to pay any dollar amount to not be driving around with this obnoxious sound every time I brake. I don't know if they looked at me and assumed I wouldn't be willing to pay that much or what, but I'm extremely insulted, and livid I just wasted 3+ hours of my day sitting around waiting for a bunch of clowns to do absolutely nothing to my car. $25 less in my pocket but sounds like they needed it more than me. read more

Terrible service here. Went at 4:17 pm after calling to make sure they could service my car by 5:30 closing time. They confirmed. I waited 15 mins in my hot car, then got a half effort service. They marked I declined to have tire pressure and windows done but I didn't. They rushed me out and charged me $100+ bucks. Had to ask for a receipt that showed they cut corners. Asked the manager what happened , he just said I'm disappointed too. But he was leading the team. They had friends hanging out in the shop capping and talking while over charging me for terrible service. Never again. read more

Don't even bother taking your car here. The workers tell you that you have to pay for fixes you don't even need done to your car. They also told me that my car had way too much oil put in it last time I changed my oil (newsflash: y'all are the ones who changed my oil last time so you just admitted you don't perform services correctly. Red flag #2). They told me they couldn't perform a tire rotation because my lug nuts are stripped. I'm not that stupid and I checked them myself right after and they actually weren't stripped so thanks for that. I also heard them trying to upsell 3 separate people within 20 minutes. Take your car anywhere but here. I'm appalled by how I was treated. If you aren't a typical looking "car guy" they will treat you like you know absolutely nothing. read more

He oversaw my service and even offered additional information about my vehicle, which I greatly appreciated. I apologize in advance for the length of this review but it is worth it. My family has been taking our cars to this location for years and for multiple cars primarily for oil changes and tire rotations. They have always been fair and efficient with their service. My son went and has his brakes replaced on his truck, which I wasn't too pleased about. They aren't known for their brakes and because the lack the equipment, the can't machine the rotors. So a replacement of the pads means a replacement of the rotors. In reality, if you know that's what you need, it is convenient to walk in and have the whole thing done. We decided to sell the truck and in advance of sale I decided to have the mechanic give it a once over. The car was basically fine but they shocked me when the insisted my front brakes were history. Considering it was only 6 months since we had the brakes totally replaced, it just seemed unreasonable. Well I brought it in, and jiffy lube looked at the brakes and insisted that in-spite of unusual wear, my brakes were fine. I talked to the mechanic and they insisted my brakes were dead, but since I was planning on selling the truck and the fact there were no obvious indications, ie no signal from the pads, I blew it off and figured it could survive a sale. My final repair was to replace the tires because they had worn to the warning tread. The tire dealership came back and told me that it was true, my backs were trash. At this point I was pretty upset and I spoke to the manager who had inspected my brakes before. The mechanic had told me that if the measured the brakes without takin the tires off, they would get a false measurement. I insisted they remove the tire and measure the brakes. They did so and came to the same conclusion as the other two organizations. In the end they did a full replacement of my pads and rotors and the calipers that appeared to have failed which caused the problem to begin with. Very honorable, I wish they had taken more care at my initial inspection, but I respect them for doing the right thing and replacing the entire thing. read more

This was the worst experience I've ever had at a Jiffy Lube. My company contracts with Jiffy Lube with our fleet cars. I've gone to several locations. This was the first location that I've waited longer than an hr. Also, the person that was handling my car was not very well trained with fleet car handling (or just customer service edict in general) and seemed to forget what car I owned, several times. Also tried to sell me on several items that were not fleet approved - which indicated a lack of training. He didn't walk me through to view my oil dip stick until I asked and I'm glad I did because they forgot to add coolant. read more

Wow. I will never come back here because of horrible service. I arrived and the tech HEATHER took Two vehicles ahead of mine even though they arrived after I did. She just ignored me. She then asked me to sign the estimate without telling me the price of the service I was requesting and proceeded to give constant attitude. She even started arguing and giving attitude to another customer while I was here. She was very short and very rude. When I went to leave she pulled out the oil stick from under my hood and said "see all full" ..to prove they actually changed my oil? Just bizarre. If you want a store where they take advantage of young females, this is your place. Tried to charge my 17 year old daughter 117.00 for an oil change. Said it's the recommended service. Funny thing is, jiffy lube has never tried that with me when I bring my other similar type vehicles in. They should be ashamed of what they did, but I know they won't.
