I definitely have to give a shout out to this crew here, Ben, as well as Brandon and the two young ladies that work in the office definitely went the extra mile to help me out my Ford F150 was having some problems. They changed out a few parts a week later we believed it to be the turbos we're going out. This is a $6000 job and the way their economy is right now I knew that I could not afford this then went the extra mile and dug into the problem. A little bit more found out. It was just a sensor that needed to be replaced so far so good. This is a day later and I drove it 45 miles to work. Called around 8 AM to see if they would have time for a drop off no appointment. Said yes, and brought the car in within a half hour. They were shortstaffed and completely overbooked. They lacked communication and did not complete the primary task that had been requested. They continued working on my sister's car passed close, and then made it seem like an inconvenience that we had work the next morning and wasn't able to leave it overnight. My sister had asked primarily for an alignment, and to double check the brakes because we were informed recently that they were low. 12 PM rolls around they checked the brake pad measurements. At first my sister didn't want to complete them with Firestone because of the price & time. But called back within 20 minutes and said yes if they were able to complete it that day. The alignment had still not been checked "we will complete it after the brakes are done" Around 4 PM we got a phone call asking if they can keep the car overnight, after my sister stated no, and asked where the car was at. They had completed the front brakes and rotors. Still no alignment and still the back of the car with 2 hours to close. 6 o'clock rolls around and we're waiting in the lobby for the car to be finished, they don't end up completing the brakes and alignment until 7 PM (hour passed close) They had kept the car for roughly 11 hours, for a fairly simple task. If they did not have the time, it would've been fine, but communication was not presented. Had we known before 4 PM that the car had barely been started, we would've pulled the and taken it to our typical mechanic or another place that had more availability that day. Obviously they don't want to lose business, but at the end of the day, don't overwork your staff and make it the customer's problem. read more

Firestone came through when I had a nail in my tire on a Sunday.. Problem is, when I picked up my vehicle the next day (had to order my tires) I noticed the controls on my steering wheel had been scratched so badly, they were now white not black. Something had obviously been drug across my steering wheel, possibly a clipboard or similar while they collected data from my control panel. They of course, denied any responsibility.. As someone who takes superior care of their vehicle, this is very frustrating and a bit infuriating. read more

Don't go here, I called ahead for a quote on brakes to replace the rotors and pads on all four wheels. My son dropped off the car in the morning for the brakes and oil change, later in the day my wife went to pick up the car and the cost tripled. They didn't even check my car out. I brought the car in for an engine diagnostic and to check my power steering. Come to the day I get my car back, they say "nothings wrong with the car, it's just older." Brought it to a different shop, my high pressure hose is completely leaking and not fully sealed. The shop said "pretty hard for anyone to miss this issue from lookin at the engine" Spent $150 for someone to sit in my car and give me "expert advice" Also to mention, I said there was a weird noise when fully cranking the wheel, they said there's no noise at all. Which was also false, my front sway bar links weren't torqued. Whoever "looked" at my car didn't know what they were looking for. read more

Customer service is great. Nice they're open on Sunday. Workmanship is lacking. Replaced the rack and pinion boot on Saturday and next day needed alignment since I pulled the tie rod end off. All they needed to do is undo the clip to unkink the boot. If I didn't check probably would have tore a hole in the boot. read more

I scheduled a 4 PM appointment for A/C service but arrived an hour early. The staff mistook me for another customer and said they couldn't perform the service because they close at 5 PM. Then they asked about an alignment or vehicle inspection, I scheduled and said they couldn't do those right now. After clarifying I was there for A/C service, they still declined to help, despite my early arrival and saying they can't do those either because the a/c guy was out for the week. It felt like they had no interest in serving me. While I understand tires are their main business, why offer other services if they turn customers away? Poor experience--I won't be back. read more

Called for a quote on mounting and balancing 4 new tires and new wheels. Gave them the size of the wheel and tires that I wanted mounting. They didn't need the information on the tire. Confirmed my address in their system through my cell phone number. Wanted to know the car type, which was not going to their shop, since I just wanted to mount the tire and balance the wheel. These guys are amazing! I went to run errands yesterday and found my tire was nearly flat with a nail lodged in it. I have a Costco warranty but didn't want to have to deal with having to make an appt, so I went to the closest tire shop, Firestone. I was in and out within the hour! I ordered tires online and had them delivered to the shop. The tires arrived on time and Rich called to confirm the appointment. He was very accommodating to my wife's schedule and took care of the installation. He mentioned to my wife that there were some screws missing on the center caps. She asked for him not to install one cap that only had one screw. She drove the car home and three caps fell off on the road. I called Rich and he apologized for the missing caps and offered to replace them. He ordered 4 new caps and then sent them to my house. Wow! That is amazing customer service and we are very satisfied customers! read more

Always would have given it average rate of 3 stars but the last few trips in have been solid . 10/11/2018: Oh, boy~I'm performing a plethora of maintenance issues for my 2K Toyota 4-Runner for 2018 but, I gotta maintain my truck's upkeep; I have full intentions operating my truck for at least, 450K! Today, I had to replace the burnt out parking light bulbs, change oil, perform a thorough 220K maintenance inspection; however . . . Unfortunately, Travis and Lily informed me my tires are splitting from the heat due to driving through Nevada's deserts didn't help preserving my tires' longevity and of course, traversing via Kingsbury Grade via Lake Tahoe CA to Genoa, Nevada wore down my truck's brake pads and seriously left abrasion rings inside the brake drums equating to the replacement cost of . . . Drum roll, please~TA-DA: $1,100.00 replacing all four truck tires, replacing the brake pads, brake drums, etc.! I just finished paying the A/C repair, now THIS MAJOR EXPENDITURE MUST BE IMMEDIATELY ADDRESSED! Oh, well~ Despite the cost replacing parts for my truck this year~at least, I won't have an $800.00 monthly car payment, paying an exorbitant yearly, registration fee, and paying high insurance premiums, right? Anyway, I must return next week in order, replacing all four tires, brakes and completing my truck's 220K maintenance check. My Toyota 4-Runner is road-ready for 2019 . . . Still, I'm waiting for the DMV smog notice arriving any day so, I know I must take care doing my part keeping the Earth's atmosphere clean by insuring my truck isn't a egregious, smog producer. read more

These are my dudes right here. I'm on vacation, check engine light comes on & I know I already need my spark plugs and brakes changed. I made an appt for 12pm today, and after a brake inspection I'm informed I need to change my rotors too. The techs had some difficulty with re-calibrating after the brake pads were changed due to some automatic settings, but with determination & teamwork they figured it out & eventually got on my way. Yes, I had to forfeit a day of my vacation & cancel dinner plans, but everyone I interacted with was friendly, super helpful and informative. I was able to get the Firestone credit card to help with financing, first 6 months are interest free & applied a coupon for brake services to my transaction. Be careful here folks, they'll try to turn you around and bend you over. $1220 for front and rear brakes on a 10 year old Nissan versa, $1950 for shocks and struts. Parts for that vehicle are super cheap. Went elsewhere and quote was half the price. Also, wife's company car was serviced here and there's a checklist of things they're supposed to do that were checked off but clearly not done (windshield washer fluid, coolant was low, air filter clearly not changed). I've had family and friends work for Firestone, and I've had service done at Firestone as well. Getting rid of the old manager Chris, I think was an amazing move. You can see them trying to bring in people to make the place better than just pass it by without having to think twice. The new manager, Travis, is personable, straight forward, and isn't going to treat you like a unknowledgeable dollar sign. He gave personal recommendations on tires based on his own experiences with similar cars to mine so that was an extra touch that was appreciated. I highly suggest giving Firestone another shot with this new manager. read more

They were able to accommodate because it wasn't extremely busy. I had to bring it to a speciality alignment shop who said that Firestone's alignment was, "one of the worst" they've ever seen. My SUV blew a tire this morning, in a very unfortunate spot (Lake Crossing in Folsom.) My roadside assistance insurance covered a tow to Firestone (about 4.8 miles away.) Chris was awesome, and they were pretty busy! We didn't think my tire could be repaired, so he pre-ordered my tire for delivery to shop (not in stock when I got there.) Frank the tire tech worked TIRELESSLY on my tire, and he was able to patch/repair it. All the guys there were super friendly. Now, I was there a good amount of time, but again, it was BUSY (and, this was an emergency.) Roughly 2 hours in, they had me back on the road. Great guys, I would highly CONSIDER driving the extra 18 miles from my house to get future service done here! read more

Very disappointed with the service at this Firestone. My friends and I came back from a rafting trip in Lotus and noticed that a tire on my truck was flat; It had a nail in it. I called Firestone and the man I spoke with on the phone said that he would be able to get me in the same day if I came before closing time, which was 6pm. I arrived shortly after 5pm. When I arrived, I asked one of the technicians if he could patch my tire. He told me yes, and that it would be $20. ($10-20 is the average price to have your tire patched.) When I went inside, the manager said that the work couldn't be done because it was almost closing time. I told him that the technician said that he could do the work. After I told the Manager that, he went outside and the technician started to work on my tire. I then went in to pay and the Manager said that he had not put me in the system, so I'd have to pay in cash (which seemed odd) and that it would be $40 (!!!) I told the Manager that the technician had told me that it would be $20 and he said "The technician doesn't know what he's taking about." I left feeling as though I had been swindled and that the Manager wasn't telling the truth. I would not recommend this Firestone to anyone. The Manager was awful, but the technician was nice! I came back to see Bruce after he gave me fantastic customer service last week on my oil change and new spark plugs on my Mercedes 300C. Some thief had slit open the plate under my car and tried to steal my catalytic converter. Bruce was super busy with a car in every bay, but agreed to have one of his technicians take a look at my under plate and have it secured up. I was so grateful for the great service, time, care and interest he took in making sure I was happy with the repair. He said, "that's what we're here for" quality customer service, with a great smile too!! read more

This is a late review for some work I had done here in July 2021. I had just bought a new car, and after less than 500 miles of driving one of the tires failed. I brought it to the car dealer, and they were too happy to rather rudely tell me that tires are not covered under warranty. I could try my luck at Firestone. Well, I took it to see Mark here at the Firestone in EDH. Mark got his guys on it, and he set me up with a matching replacement tire. Needless to say, I was thrilled. Jesus Christ no way I'd ever recomend this place they gave me my car back with one tire without any of the lug nuts screwed on they were finger tight at best I couldn't even drive home and ontop of it their phone service is non existent I waited 3 days (on holiday mind you I had to suspend my travels) for my car to be repaired and nothing was done because they couldn't reach (me because their phone service is shit) if I tried to drive home without a tire attached I could have died I should sue this place they are beyond repair never go here again read more
