If I could give zero stars I would. I walked in with no customers in the showroom and wanted to inquire about two sets of tires, one for my car, one for my sons. One employee told me he'd be right with me and walked out. I waited and waited and waited. Everyone looked busy so I was patient. Finally an employee walked in and all he did was grab himself a bottle of water and walk out. Not one word spoken to me. By this time there are four men behind me. I waited another five minutes and finally said forget it I'll take my business elsewhere. I understand about being busy but being ignored is not acceptable. I'm going to look other placed and even if the cost is a little bit more I'll do it for good service. The valve stem on one of my tires went bad so I was loosing air fast on my way home from work. Unfortunately I had forgotten to place my spare tire back in my truck after cleaning it. Im so glad I decided to stop by America's Tire! Kevin was outstanding! He booked me in to have the techs repair the valve at no charge. The tires are always competitively priced, but when you total the bill and add a warranty they are not always the cheapest. Despite their "price match guarantee" when I bought tires for my daughters car they would not match Sears so I purchased at Sears. Last time I made an appointment for tire rotation and balancing, I had to leave because they could not keep my appointment. I waited for twenty minutes and still had to wait for a car they just pulled in so add another 20 or thirty minutes! Unacceptable. They seem to like to drop everything to fix tires for people who didn't buy tires from them while people who spent money for a set of four tires sit and wait. Since going here to get new tires my wife's car has had several faulty valve stems every couple months I have to bring her car in to have another valve stem replaced I don't know how it happens but where the valve stem meets with the tire it always seems to get cut and the tire loses air its not just one rim it happens on it has been all of them and every time they change it stey say its fixed and we checked to make sure everything is all good well couple months later I'm back down going thru the same thing its been about 5-6 times I've had to take off work to get the car down to the shop to be fixed now they finally replaced all the valve stems with an aluminum one so hopefully I don't have to waste more time down there watching them fix the same problem over and over again its nothing but a big headache read more

The employee's at here at America's Tire are very nice and I believe the prices are pretty much even with their competitors. With that being said, the wait time is always ridiculous! In the years since they've opened here in Manteca I have not had an experience where I haven't had to wait a minimum of 1hr 15 min or longer. They need more employees to speed up the process a bit. To further my frustration I was encouraged to make an appointment so I wouldn't have such a long wait time. So I did, make am appointment. I waited just as long as before. I was them informed that the appointment does nothing to speed up the process it's purpose is to let the employees prepare for they may need. Again they are all very nice and thorough but I'm quite annoyed :/ HIRE MORE PEOPLE most of your customers have things to do and/or children to tend to! read more

On a cross country road trip we discovered a shimmy in our steering wheel and suspected it was tire balance. We stopped to see if they could check it out for us, within an hour they had checked, balanced, rotated and aired our tires and had us on our way--FOR FREE! Even though we didn't purchase our tires at Americas! How nice to come across an auto business with professional staff that wasn't out to upsell us something we didn't need and their only mission was to get us safely back on the road. The manager at this location "Nate" needs to learn common courtesy for when he is dealing with women. I am not ignorant about my vehicle basic maintenance but not a mechanic so, when I brought my car in to double check on the TMPS, after the tire rotation and balance took place the day before at his store. He decided to questioned in front of an audience, embarrassed me and then he informed me the TMPS was actually set up wrong by his guys the day before! This is the worse American Tire Co. location for women as we can easily be missed treated and sadly embarrassed in front of a lot of people! Awful place to get your tires. read more

I was on my way from Tracy to Modesto and I noticed that my tire was pretty much gone. I live in Manteca and I decided to stop by to check what time they closed and get a price quote. I arrived 10 minutes after they have already closed and asked one of the associates about getting a quote. He directed me to Aaron who quoted me and checked my tires. As soon as he saw my tires he told me that he could not let me leave like that because he was concerned about my safety. I only asked for 2 tires and he said no problem, they took me in after they already closed. They worked as a team to get the new tires on and one of the associates looked at my vehicle closely and noticed that the sizes were going to be off he notified Aaron and he came to let me know that they ran into a problem. I told him that I would have to come back in 2 weeks to replace the other 2 tires and Aaron told his boss Al which came out to me to explain what the problem was as I explained that I didn't have enough money for the other 2 tires at that moment and he offered me a deal to were I could get both tires and pay for one today and I can come in two weeks to pay for the second one. Well I told Al that I have $200 in cash and I will come in to pay the remaining balance in two weeks. Al said don't worry about it he would do it for that price and I would still have everything I paid for on the second pair as I had on the first pair. While Al was doing the paperwork the team changed the tires out. This was great because when he was finishing up they were finishing the job as well. I will say they took great care of me because not only did Al help me out but Aaron took me in and they showed nothing but concern for the safety of not only myself but my family as well, even though they were not with me. Aaron and Al were fantastic and the team did a GREAT JOB. I will continue to show them loyalty and will never go to another store for my tires, this was by far the GREATEST customer service ever. I scheduled a 9:30am appointment and could not have been any happier! Jose the sales associate was extremely accommodating and answered every question I asked. My appointment was specifically scheduled for installing aftermarket rims and Jared and James went as far as mounting on wheel so I could see how they looked on the car before I crossed the "non returnable" line. I could not have been anymore pleased with all of their eagerness to ensure I was fully satisfied before I went forward with the complete install, and I recieved this service bringing in my own wheels and tires only needing installation! Best place for tires. Now I'll break it down Just over a year ago, I was in need of 4 new tires. I stopped off at America's Tire in Fresno on shaw AV. Got the tires and added the life time warranty. Last night driving from Dinuba to Modesto late night I hit a pothole I didn't see on the country road. Luckily I had a spare. Next morning, came to the Manteca location. I noticed every customer who was next in line, had been greeted with a hand shake and how's your day been. They also greeted everyone who walked in the door to let them know they will be helped shortly. I was next in line and was greeted with the same customer service they were giving to all of the other customers. I told him what happened and he took a look. Told me it's common to hit potholes and the cool part is I'm covered under the life time warranty, even though I put almost 50,000 on my car since I got the new tires. The total cost for to me get a new tire was $13.85. They really treat their customers satisfied with not only the product but as well with their customer service. I brought in a flat tire from my wife's minivan. The staff was incredibly friendly. They fixed the flat in an hour and brought it out to the car and loaded it up for me in a bag to make sure it didn't make a mess. Today, I wen in with a low pressure indicator and they checked my tire.
